Dave was pretty accommodating when I spent like an entire threads pointing out historical inaccuracies in World of Darkness stuff (Why yes, I may be autistic). God-Machine sends off secret agent duo of a Lare and some special Cryptid agent to (unbeknownst to them) fuck with its old, failed cryptid experiements, to drive them insane, and fuck with their plans so it doesn't have to think about them as they're constantly hampered across space and time.

But so it can also potentially still use them at a later point. Like how the Daleks occasionally wipe out something before the Doctor stops them again, and how they always seem to come back, even when the Doctor breaks his "programming" and wipes them out.

Basically send them running after their own tails for all of time, unless it needs them for something.

As for what it was like... well, I've played several, including one in a post-Week of Nightmares story, so my Ravnos was one of the few who *didn't* get diablerized by its kin or get offed during the Week of Nightmares.

(Also, yes, since I know that some anon is probably gonna mention it, I know that some people think that all Ravnos died during the Week of Nightmares, but that's simply false: the book "Time of Thin Blood" reveals that there are still a few Ravnos left alive (about a hundred or so), enough for them to function as a bloodline rather than a clan, but it's explicitly mentioned that there are no powerful elders left alive after the WoN, so only 8th-15th gen are left).

Anyways, playing a post-WoN Ravnos was fun, if at times a lot more difficult than I'd expected. Our ST had several vampire cultists, noddists and doomsayers come up to my character for "advice" on what they should do in order to survive the Final Nights. And on a different occasion, my character got hunted by a whacko elder for being a harbinger of the Gehenna and all that jazz.

Also, Chimerstry is a fun discipline to use, but its relatively high cost (having to spend willpower to make even the most basic of illusions, plus additional blood points for more advanced illusions) means that it's not something you make use of very often, if at all.

But when it *did* get used, I went all out, and I always got lucky with the results. At one point I managed to fool a Gangrel into literally jumping off the edge of a roof and straight into the very angry arms of a werewolf who was hunting us.
