What are some good systems for a Superhero roleplay?

I've been looking at Mighty Six. it uses the Mini Six system (which is free)

its basically a simpler WEG d6. Want to use it for an X-men game.


Marvel Super Heroes RPG/ FASERIP is nice and simple I hear and all the shit is on the internet.

Mutants and Masterminds is probably better for people that refuse to not use a D20

Godlike/Wild Talents looked interesting.

How good is GURPS for superhero type stuff?
I'm curious, particularly for more street level superhero games.

For street level it should be okay. But if you go higher you'll either need to always keep a hand on balance of the powers or accept that people are mortal. Like really mortal.

High powered superhero game in GURPS is a hard counters galore type of game.
