Hey, since people posted about the Streets of Cantha game in a bunch of old threads, I think I should post my picks for the Wednesday game.

After reading the articles about the crusades, those seeking to become great heroes and set themselves up as international figures of importance seem to be widely represented in the crusades. A hero and savior to his allies, a scourge to his enemies, ready to carve out a place for himself in the world. I don't really have to worry about him being a prick to the party at the very least.

What I am worried about is the fact that I am going to be dealing with Iomedaen worshippers. In the morning I radiate both Lawful and Evil before I invoke inevitables, and then just Lawful Neutral. The article talks about as well the crusades can't check everyone and take all the help they can get.

However what I see as a problem is once I encounter hardcore Iomedaens, or the woman herself. Could such a character survive the trumpeting scene?

What way is there to give an intelligent weapon/armor/object a body of its own? Not like, a robot body, but a genuine "turn it into a living creature" ability. Is it feasible for someone who is not a fullcaster in either vancian or spheres to do such a thing?

What exactly IS Con to AC, anyhow? Sheer toughness? Armor-like scar tissue? Deflecting weaponry with your massive breasts?

I'm making a Striker when SoM comes out and I need to know these things.

Yeah, I ran into when doing some white rooming the issue with 'Flying Cav + Paladin Auras = Nobody is getting affected'. Which is why it was changed to be a column of infinite height (So that anyone above or below you can get it) and to expand as you level.

And yeah, that's an issue with mounts...but not one I'm really sure if there is an easy way to fix other than 'Assume your GM won't be a dick and make the game all in environments you can't play in'

When going into Mammoth Rider, is it possible to keep your original Animal Companion (if your mount/steed) or do you need to exchange it for the few listed in the class?

The Pegasus is, at it's core, a winged horsie not an iron-skinned flying death lizard. Almost played it in a game in /gamefinder/ but the DM was just kind of a twat, which led to me griping about him. He read the entire backstory, a 9 page document, then said it was okay, but I had to shorten it because it was too long.

Even though I had literally said multiple times that the only thing wrong was telling me to shorten the backstory HE HAD ALREADY READ was a twat move and was otherwise fine. And then he linked my backstory document while I wasn't online, so he could bitch about me being a special snowflake because I made female Guts.

I came back to over 200 emails about comments on my backstory from about ten different people shitting all over it or just flooding it with spam.

This started because he was kind of autistic and didn't realize I was being serious when I said "Hey, I'm really strapped on time right now, but I wanted to throw my hat in the ring. Just leave the implication that your character enjoys having sex or doing something sexual. Maybe make a joke of just what exactly her "unique way with a [polearm goes here]" looks like to her comrades.

But gotta let you know, there's somebody else whose schtick is "healslut with a glaive", so might want to take a look at their app or talk to them a bit and see about differentiating yourself from them some way. The group got ambushed by some Lizardfolk Zombies and Kobold Skeletons in the swamp, after being caught in an ambush that was set by the necromancer who controlled the undead.

The party's Lizardfolk Skald almost died. It was great.

Okay, Medium has a couple of decent choices for a Melee-focused Paladin-clone.

Agathion-channeling nets you a SECOND pool of Lay On Hands (imo the best choice here)

Angel gets you even heftier defenses

and Archon lets you actually debuff swarms of enemies

You get those benefits regardless of the spirit you choose to channel.

Just look back to protohumans. To a guy, another guy was competition for breeding. Girls werent breeding competition for other girls, he can just dick both of you.

Result is that the human race tends to like girls more than guys.
