But no, the ME at least tried some variety with cultures (even if they done the old: one race, one culture). By skimming the info about the coriolis, they created huge world, rich in diversity, where everything is based about oriental/arabian culture.

Fuck, even the Riddick universe had at least some variety.

It's more like Firefly rather than Rogue Trader. I personally love it, I have the Swedish box with all the stuff, and been a fan since the first edition (which wasn't a very good game really) but this edition is an improvement in every instance.

It's a fun system to use, it's easy yet interesting to make characters, the setting is really neat in my own opinion, and how it's built it's really easy to make a coherent group during character creation.

If you like Privateer/Freelancer type games, then this is probably for you, especially if you like Arabian Nights kind of stuff too and just Arabian culture in general.
