To add, I never knew this, but I always modeled my squad with a "corporal" who'd "lead" combat squads or if I decided to use smaller squads, I'd have identifiable sergeant model in there.

So it was just for combat squadding eh. thanks
>>51672112
yeah they are pretty cool
>>51672115
Yeah I am tempted to bring back back banners for my next army, but noticed in 2nd each squad had two banners.
>>51672129
It seems even space wolves did the two banner thing.
>>51672142
There even a proper explanation in the wolf codex. Fucking hell.
>>51672142
Well, there was a time the Wolves were about (mostly) following rules.
>>51672266
That kind of explanation isn't in 2nd ed ultra and angel's of death. Was kinda shocking to me.

>people go on about how "Rogue Trader sculpts were amazing"
I have never read or heard anybody say that.
Not about the models. About the fluff and the rules sure, but about the models only stuff like that they had a load of character. Which is true. Doesn't mean they were 'amazing' though.
Where have you heard somebody say that?

I would field an army of those RT sculpts if I had them. The ones with helmets look rad
Did every 2E army have backbanners, like the eldar, IG, or sisters, or was it limited to the marines and ork?
>>51672192
>hermine symbol
First time I see it used outside of a field, pretty cool.
>>51676154
Orks had them, Eldar had them (on aspect warriors and the like). Sisters and guard had regular banners.
