I wanted to write a paper about DND, ten pages worth of it. any ideas on topics?
Whether or not it's a healthy activity for people who exhibit serious social deficits in social functioning.
What subject are you writing for?

Whoops didn't mean to type social twice.

Maybe how it helps you understand the variety of choices you have in life?

The relevance of D&D in modern video games.
The impact that religion may have had on D&D.
The social implications of D&D on modern society.
The historical impact that miniature war games played in the creation of D&D.

The escapism aspect. How many similar games have existed throughout history? DnD is a very new way of doing storytelling that we've had the tech to do for literally millennia, but we're just now playing collaborative semi-freeform improvised storytelling dice games based on myth and legend.
Why now?

OP is probably gone by now but... this. This is a good one.

Back then they didn't PRETEND to destroy their enemies. We also have a significantly easier time finding food and other resources then our ancestors did, giving us a larger amount of free time to play with.

Op pick this or how DnD affects those who play in prison and what that could mean for others with similar tendencies.

How's that social sciences degree working out for you?
>>51591904
probably a shit idea but pyscology of players and effect of dungeons and dragons experience.
Explained out, i've noticed in my time playing that dungeons and dragons is the ultimate emotional baggage game. People can help but bring their personality traits into game.
Probably a shit idea but i'm not an academic, i'm a bard.
