Haven't seen them, but even a small hollow can help stop bubbles and warping while the plastic is setting in the mold.

Critique time!

Alright, so you are aware of what washes are, good work. Here's a few things to remember that will make your shit look at least 10 times better:

- Don't be too liberal with a wash unless you are trying to do something like make a metal surface look really dirty. Even then, make sure the distribution is even and not pooling in one spot or another too much. The easiest way to do this is to apply your brush (after cleaning the wash out a bit) to any areas where the wash settling in a weird way. The brush soaks up the excess wash, and you're good.

- Don't just wash one or two colors. Your yellow, while admirably even-coated for the most part, looks out of place because of this. Get a wash that matches the color (Agrax Earthshade and Nuln Oil are safe on darker or neutral colors but for brighter or richer colors like primaries, you have to try to use something close. Orange for yellows is best. I usually use Seraphim Sepia on yellow because it's still a pretty "dirty" wash but doesn't completely kill the color.

- After your wash is done, try coming back in with the color you painted on before the wash. Don't use a lot of paint at once, and only try and paint along the parts that are further out from where the wash has settled, so you have something approximating a gradation from the original color and what you had after covering it all in the wash.

Jimmyfantastic is ok but the dude gets salty as fuck and his favorite team is really boring to watch (Nurgle). I remember I started watching him when he started a Nurgle team that he claimed he was going to do a weird Tentacles-first build for all his warriors, but after like two games defaulted to the standard builds because "You just can't build Nurgle that way and expect to win straight away and I can't stand losing every game"

He never outright quits but he starts doing weird shit for the hell of it when he gets hit with a bad kickoff or a double skull early on.

Alright so my store is starting up a blood bowl league. Not sure how long its going to run, we've got maybe 10 players so far, and I'm running lizard men. I'm just now picking up the game, I know the basics but need some practice playing.

What is the better way to start out? I built myself a team with 6 saurus, 4 skinks, 1 kroxigor, and 2 Re rolls. I've heard that starting with 6 saurus, 5 skinks, and 3 Re rolls is better, but I might miss the bashiness of the big guy early on.

Which is better for lizards starting out?

1: Krox / Beast of Nurgle
2: Krox / Beast of Nurgle
Teams that NEED their big guys: Underworld, Goblins, Halflings, Humans.
Teams that really don't want their big guy: Wood Elves
Yheti could be good on Norse, but I hardly see it used. Minotaurs usually suck because the teams with them already have better. Trolls suck, but are cheap. I'm probably forgetting some.

Gold comes faster the more you play since you get more Fame and Fan Factor. With the new rules you can have a chance of that Krox getting an MVP every game, so I guess you could start without him and pump him full of SPP later on. Also a skink is only worth keeping at level 3 and more if they get block or +MA generally if you wanna be super efficient.

Break Tackle is a very strong choice for Lizards since their players are all high MA compared to other bashy teams.

Actually, 2 re-rolls is the forward thinking option.

Team Re-rolls are there to mitigate bad rolls that can't be saved by player skills or skill rerolls. So naturally, a team with less player skills that do so (Block, Dodge, Sure Hands, Pass, Catch, etc.) has a greater need for Team Re-rolls until they acquire those skills, after which they need them less.

Especially for a new player, I would say the additional re-roll deserves consideration.

Thralls don't need or deserve a boost like that (emaciated blood donor slaves should not be harder to KO than a regular human lineman), especially not now that vamps have been pussified to the point that they can no longer kill or permanently injure their victims. They're intended to be a challenge team and really aren't that bad once you've endured the first few games and have the cash to have a bit more of a bench for the vamps to chew through.

Here ya go, here's a thing.

WHY CYANIDE GETS NO TRACTION HERE

1) Money, not a huge deal borrow your mums credit card.

2) Teams, big deal, less so for Legendary edition, but custom Rosters and stunties give fumbbl something extra

3) Rules, not a huge deal but seriously, that stadium stuff is shit. The inducement process is objectively worse?

4) Player base BB2 has the numbers but also has a majority of retarded man babies. To not have most of your games resolve into profanity laced gloating/bitching and concedes you have to join a restricted league . Fumbbl is basically one of those restricted leagues.

5) Servers, my heart is filled with rage over every d/c in a Cyanide game. As of the last time I played; no Cyanide game saved game states so a turn 15 server hiccup screwed you, either needed to be accepted as is or restarted.

6) Tournaments. This might be different soon, but last time I looked into hosting a tournament in BB2 you could do a knock out or a full man round robin . 18 man round robin, 17 rounds. This is like the bare minimum effort to put into it and doesn't even support /tg/s main tourney type. Legendary edition promised some basic imporvements.

7) Customization- Pitches, player portraits, bio pages, records pages. A small concession for some, a major deal to others

8) Spectating- IMO the biggest difference. Let me tell you what you get bb2.
Someone tells you they are playing>start game>search a list of all games going on> long ass load time>in-game turn 0> Skip to live. Congrats! You're watching a game. I wonder if anyone else is watching? You'll never know becuase there is no chatting or spec sounds or confirmation of spectators.

I play BB2, I signed up for the BB2 league. BB2 has upsides. Here they are.

1) Graphics, this matters to some people way more than others. It makes it easier to get people into the game and to follow the actions. Good times.

2) Variable Turn timers, This is great, and when used correctly can really set the pace for tournaments and give different events different feels.

3) More exposure and ecelebs and streamers- yay?

Thens there's the things that sound good but don't really work out.
*BB2 still has a development team and is still being worked on! For a price.
*Voice Acting- voice "acting" repetitively.
*Single player- BB2 is crap.


Am I missing anything? Other than Graphics and the inclusion it brings I don't see much worth it about BB2. Even legendary Edition.

I need to review what they are promising with LE. Simply put, player options. League, rules, and personal. Right now they are purely focuesed on putting out things they can charge for. teams. Every other thing the've promised with the exception of a few rules tweaks/QoL changes have been largely ignored. A lot of the changes they made were things that should have been part of the base game. Example, It shipped without grid lines and the ability to see player skills at a glance.
