So a few months ago, I made a Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z jump for my personal use, with some help from my friend Digs. I didn't plan on these seeing the light of day and knew there was a lot of baggage associated with these, but after the last few threads, I kinda figured there's no point in tapdancing around the issue.

So, with permission and some help from Quicksilver, here's both. They're meant to be alternatives to the original endjump version. Next one will follow in the next post.

Now, I'm not trying to start a shitstorm here, but considering that we now have 2 new dragon ball jumps and a generic xianxia jump as well, would you say that the coiling dragon jump should be allowed on the drive? Reading through it again, I see nothing that would allow one to achieve a powerlevel higher than those jumps. I really like the setting, so having the jump recognized would be nice. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Refer to the errata for Super. It basically boils down to 'if you want Super to be canon or acquire things from it, that's your prerogative.' The jump itself isn't meant to cover it, though.

I have no problem with it. It sounds like the Yves library in In Nomine, or L-Space in Diskworld.

Also remember the pocket dimension is 20k/40k square miles, but can be larger if you become Lord of one of your dimensions instead. So since the Library IS endless, don't worry about your new dimension running out of space for knowledge. You could probably also do stuff like make settings of books come to life inside the library.

The way I did mine was to buy The Tower of Fate and Dimension Lord. The tower is as big as it needs to be, to for every jump there is a pocket dimension for that jump which is the distilled magical essence of that setting in microcosm, and connected to that jump. When that jump ends, the door is sealed until the jumpchain ends, at which time all the doors are open, and I have a tower that straddles universes, but is apart from them all.

Not on its own, but it does put you near the original group of Androids in fighting power right off the bat. Think of it as Easy Mode for the first few Sagas, though you'll start equalizing off against Freeza's latter forms and the Androids and be totally outmatched by Cell unless you keep up the shonen training. It doesn't directly scale with your own speed, but if you have intelligence/brain boosters, those definitely give it a leg up. Training up to be able to move just as fast will let you synergize with it. Also gives you a knack for predicting incoming blows.

This is a huge issue with IP's there are currently being written.

Like the Certain Magical Index. That was not a added time issue, just the standard ten years. People thought it was a certain kind of jump and made their builds. Then new stuff came out and the setting turned out to be a lot more dangerous.

The 1,000 year thing is even more so than that, depending on what the writer brings out for later chapters.

From the start to where it is now not much time has gone by, from what I can tell it has only been like 2 to 3 years since chapter 1. Yes there has been some escalation but that comes less from normal xianxia shenanigans than from the mc actively attacking or trying to rob people stronger than himself. He isnt a bad guy, the bad guys just happen to try to harm him and his friends.

So long as you dont go looking for trouble and dont take the drawback you should be just fine barring normal bad luck. Plus you are in a war so there is that. The drawback is more for people who dont mind a challenge.

The 1000 year part is just because it being a xianxia allows for some things to happen on such a time scale so I felt it would be good to add in but not gain any cp from it because its a just for funsies option.

These seem like they should be in the Side-effects section and give points, not cost them. Sure they can make you look cool, but that is all they do, and they also make your cultivation Unsubtle as all fuck. I mean Buddhist chants have the same mechanical effect as a sentry yelling "Hey, this suspicious guy over here is doing supernatural stuff, sound the alarm" or having Permanent markings means your opponents can say "Thanks for making it so easy to find your students in a crowd and preemptively kill them!"

This should be take as many as you want for free, with the side effect being how obvious it is that you are a cultivator even when not using your abilities, and how much it draws attention to you then you actively use your powers. Like a Body Xiu without aesthetics could take a bullet with his power actively and pass it off like he got really lucky. But if he has that cool glowing golden aura and Buddhist chants set on MAX when he reinforces his body with ki, keeping a low profile while being attacked is not really an option

It is low grade in the same way a stock car is low grade compared to a custom car of the same model. You could grab some from in setting if you want but those have their own rules, requirements, and powers.

I will TRY to come up with writefaggery, but no promises. This is. Hard. Tiger has no god damn memories of his own, at ALL due to being a drop-in, just flashes of "other" memories. And I don't know canon characters in Nanoha enough to be comfortable writefagging them.

Suffice to say this jump will change Tiger's view on a LOT of things, but at the same time he's still who he's always been. His nature as a King and a Conqueror is there even when his memories are gone, cemented by both his Primordial nature, and the fact that it's just who he is.

I don't think half-saiyans can achieve God Form, so ultimately you might be better served by just having Saiyan Kids. Remember that Future Trunks has gone through more shit than anyone besides Vegeta, and he might have even Vegeta beat considering that Zamasu came and killed pretty much everyone AGAIN. Honestly, I think it's both. The Ginyu Squad is comprised of mutants from each race, and this reflects in their...bizarre, personalities. However, while this grants them strength, their eccentric nature is something even Frieza has noticed (when they're first introduced, and they do their pose and mantra, it cuts to Frieza with this frozen smirk and this look of "What the fuck did I just see"). The Xenoverse games go as far as to have him give an exasperated "I...I can never get used to this." upon fighting one of the Ginyu squad members. So clearly, their strength is why Frieza tolerates them being eccentric, because they're enough to even baffle HIM.
