I was looking through old cards I had to sell (only collected them because they were Pokémon related, now I enjoy yugioh and only play the Pokémon vidja, so I was wondering if this card was a first edition or not, since I heard if it was it was worth a fuckload of money. Pic related, is my grubby hand holding the card out of sleeve for minimum glare. Yes it is holo.

Base set Raichu, not 1st edition, not shadowless. It's not in great condition, either.
When selling cards, the best way to check value is to search ebay and select "show only sold listings". Looks like about $4 is what you can expect for your card.
If you want to discuss the pokemon TCG, you'll find much more interest at /vp/. They still probably won't care about your old cards, though.

The only old cards potentially worth Shit All are first editions (which are marked with a FIRST EDITION symbol, it's obvious if it is or isn't), misprints, and Charizard. And the last is only due to nostalgiafagging dumbshits.
They're not even worth it in the TCG itself, since that game's been powercreeped to hell and back.
