Sure. Tell us what level you want, what theme you have, how many PCs are present, how many levels they have, what their classes are, and how stupid your players are for asking an creative, lazy, stupid GM like you run for them.
Because, you know, as far as any of uis know, a fucking Cthulu and Mogera might be fair and challenging enemies for you game that you gave us NO FUCKING INFORMATION ABOUT.

Fair enough.
It's starting out at level one, and we have four players. One Cleric, one Ranger, one Fighter, and one Brawler.
I'm just doing a basic game in setting similar to Dark Souls 3, but just not!Dark Souls.
Just need some help to keep things interesting in terms of enemies and bosses.

Also, these players are experienced. I wanted to give them something challenging to imitate the feeling of a true fight for your life.
Death has consequences, but it involves taking your sanity away from you each time you die.
Sorry again for not giving any info, I haven't posted one of these kinds of threads in a long while.

>no levels, no classes, no information except pathfinder game
>fair and balanced encounters
You kind of need that extra information to help OP, you know.

in the back of the Bestiaries there is a section called "monster roles" . Stick to combat role monsters and you'll do just fine. CR 2= average encounter, maybe three or four of them. CR 3=lieutenant battle, tough and costing them if it's one monster or difficult and advantageous if it's multiple monsters. CR 4 if multiple monsters, final battle only.
Done.
