You're on fire. Uh, metaphorically.

>>51493945
That's cause pirate patches are cheaper. Who wants to waste a few extra cents on some 'murican's eyeball? Not the 'murican megacorps, that's who. More seriously, there's a bunch of reasons to use "pirate" or "medical" patches depending on the nature and severity of the problem, so maybe you've just rolled the odds on not encountering the latter.

>>51495988
Noooooooo! (/skywalker) Sorry to hear that, best wishes for your other jumps-in-the-making.

Fite da powah
>>
>>51498583
That could work.

Though I think I may have some things that give me boosts from moonlight. Could probably just create an enchantment that prevents the transformation, though.
>>
>>51498730
From a purely aesthetic point of view, I think eye patches can look hot. Less so the cybernetic eye from 40k, but a good eyepatch on the right person?

Yes please.

That they are, OP, that they are.

Nevertheless, I really like the look of this new transformed state. It's a lot more menacing than the third form of Frieza it seems to be based.

Also, extra arms. Always good.

Oh shit, that reminds me.

What's the best way to get an extra set of arms and prevent the whole thing from being clumsy?
>>
>>51498989
Best way? No clue. Possible ways? Shapeshifting, that alien form from Ben 10, substituting tentacles for arms, any custimizeable alt form, etc.
>>
>>51498989
There's a perk in Banjo Kazooie that automatically acclimates you to any new forms.

Oh, are we posting in this thread? Well then, I'll ask it here:

Jumpers, do you have kids or grandkids? If so, are you a good parent/grandparent? Do you spoil them with gifts, do you teach them how to control their powers (if they have any), or have you done something else with them?
>>
>>51494712
Does the jump have the traditional 50% discount for perks and items of your origin? Are 100cp perks/items free for your origin (or not)?

>>51495359
>>51495497
Can this please be mentioned in the next revision/update?

>>51495059

Jumpers! We've had enough empty talk of waifus but what about bros? Who are the best Companions to share a drink with?
>>
>>51499088

Adolf's a swell dude.
>>
>>51499133
I assume it's Merlin, who just happens to look like Eggman. Sonic and The Black Knights version of Morgan Le Fey.
>>
>>51499129
I picked up Amuro Ray, in UC Gundam. Guy had a hard life, taking him away from that seemed like the right thing to do.
>>
>>51499133
There was a game called Sonic and the Black Knight, which took place in the Arthur Mythos. Sonic was summoned by the granddaughter of Merlin, to fight a corrupted King Arthur. As it turns out later on, however, the King Arthur we see is a fake, created by Merlin. Sonic is the real King Arthur. This, combined with the fact that it's the only game where Dr. Eggman doesn't appear, has caused some people to believe that Merlin is the equivalent to Doctor Eggman, just as Shadow is Lancelot and Blaze is Percival. The girl is the granddaughter, and the real villain of the game, who's trying to use dark magic to make the world go on forever, so the fairy tale never ends.
>>
>>51499129
Iskander from Fate would be pretty fun to hang with.

What >>51499153 said, although I don't know if you can companion him.

After reading Overlord I've always wanted to drink some sake with Ainz in his human form.

Sokka would be an interesting drinking buddy

Archer would also be interesting, but not necessarily good. He'd also be the worst wingman ever, though he would have pretty good taste in alcohol
>>
>>51499180
Oh yeah, that stupid game. I never saw too much of it.

>>51499191
>those spoilers
...and this is why. Boy that sounds ridiculous. Sonic can't even stop Knuckles from trying to push his shit in every now and then, much less lead an entire kingdom.
>>
>>51499211
>Iskander from Fate would be pretty fun to hang with.
Shota, or bara Iskander?
>>
Is the second magic from fate the same thing as the kaleidoscope from the worm cyoa (not to be confused with the worm jump)? If so will we be able to do the bullshit described in the cyoa with a billion or so years of practice (minus unrestricted multiverse travel pre-spark, of course)?
>>
>>51499247
Well I didn't know shota Iskander was a thing. So I'll go with bara
>>
>>51498942
>It looks like an evolved Alien Queen
Awesome.

>>51498989
Go to Mystery Dungeon, be a Machop(for Machamp) and grab the perk that makes it so your body parts work perfectly. Boom, four arms that don't get in each others way.
>>
>>51499262
I've never seen that cyoa, could you post it?
>>
>>51499088
I do have kids, yes. And grandkids, yes. And grand-grandkids. And grand-grand-grandkids. And grand-grand-grand-grand... you get the idea.

Started my own Dynasty after I got to Dragon-Blooded. And just kinda expanded with other species as I went on.

Anyway, I try to be a good parent and teach them to use their powers (almost none of have all of them, but all have some powers). Several jumps helped a lot with that, most obviously Generic Parenting, but also others like the new Superman:TAS jump.

...I tend to spoil them a bit too much though. Especially the grandkids.

But with the Grand-Grandkids and further I tend to be increasingly more distant. I do show up for important times of their lives, of course. But otherwise I'm more of a distant relative/mythical figure.

>>51499129
Well, I don't know many specifically, but Dwarves are usually pretty good drinking buddies.

And from Overlord (the game), I kinda like Lord Gromgard (though usually, I use the jump's option to get Lady Gromgard instead), and Gnarl of course. And the Minions party hard.

What the hell? I mean I guess that answers the question if Jump Chan hates me. What did I do wrong? Ok yeah I avoided the plot in the last jump. I am sorry but if she were there she would have done the same thing. I don’t even have my companions with me.

All I can do now is mine for salt… for a decade. You would think if she were that upset with me she would just kick me out. Well it could be worse I guess I mean I guess pissing off an omnipotent entity usually doesn’t end well for the person doing it.

Well at least I have my warehouse. It gets cold out at nights when they kick us out of the mine. My fellow laborers are some sort of dwarf thing and a walking pile of salt that is always angry. Well it will be interesting to see how long I maintain my sanity under these conditions.
>>
So do Kamen Rider Drivers always give the wearer a humanoid shape? I remember from W there was a Cat with a Gaia Memory Driver that gave it a humanoid form, but that wasn't technically a Kamen Rider Belt. If I slapped a Driver onto a Hutt from Star Wars, would they be a giant humanoid slug Kamen Rider, or would the belt force them into a the shape of a regular human?

Yep.

SCP 1374 affects 5 buildings that are in regular contact with anomalous stuff, three of those buildings are run by the SCP foundation. They add/alter written information in the affected buildings according to one of 5 themes; those being condescending, encouraging, malicious, critical of overindulgence, and REDACTED.

The malicious one in particular once added a line about needing personnel to enter the cell of a dangerous SCP once a week to that SCP's containment procedures.

Journal Entry # 7000

I AM SORRY, look I don’t know what I did but I apologize. Look this can’t be fun for you and it’s certainly not fun for me Jumpchan so please, just stop this. Remember how you said I would be going on adventures, seeing new things and being the hero of my own story. I still want to do that but, this place is horrible.

It’s nonsensical and random. I might be able to understand if it were funny but I can’t even find any jokes. Look I almost shot entire cast in the face because I was tired of hearing about Bushido Blasters and the rest of this nonsense. God I need a drink.

Journal Entry # 7005

Excuse me Madam, this isn’t Karen; this is Reginald. I know that sometimes you seem respond to what she has written down here and I am hoping that this will reach you. I am afraid the Mistress isn’t feeling too well. In fact I fear the current state of affairs may be a tad much for her.

I am writing you to implore you to end this. I believe things have reached a point that they no longer serve either of your best interest. I know that we do not know each other well but I do not believe you would be the sort that would indulge in such base sadistic voyeurism as this must be.

Journal Entry # 7006

Damn it, I overreacted. I just got done yelling at Reginald for invading my privacy. I know he was just worried about me but I was just so frustrated and angry at the situation.

Time for more Stalwart Tiger

Last time: We went to Dragon Age where we went around causing a general ruckus and basically ignoring the Antivan Crows, and attacked the Archdemon with our bare hands despite not being a Grey Warden. Then we went to SCP where there was endless shenanigans and I engaged in my longest bit of write-faggery ever. Not sure how well liked it was but it was fun, if exhausting.

Zen-Oh the Omni-King if you take DBS continuity drawback can erase anything except for himself. During future time-line Zen-Oh erased everything and he was floating in a void. Goku convinced Zen-Oh to bring his future timeline self into the present timeline so that he won't be lonely ever again.

A Miranda and Kentaro, my daughter and son in Slice of Life, and spiderdotter Jess from Billy and Mandy. Jess is the only one that goes on Jumps with me, but I take advantage of the vacation aspect of SoL to go home and spend time with Miranda and Kentaro. Kentaro inherited my earthbending talent, so we had lots of bonding over training him in that, and I took a set of ocular implants back from ST:TNG for Miranda. I'd like to say I'm a good parent to them, but only seeing them every ten years, I worry that I forget things. Chisame usually helps me, but neither of us really gave our friends the impression of being responsible parents.

You knew I honistly thoght before I came here that maybe we were done with the stuppidity. I thought maybe we could handlle this like adalts but I guess I was mistaken. Very well I have decded to create my own fun in the world.

First I creeted a virus. It will infact every pot plant, killing it making it extinct. Second I used wish upon a falling star to curse every coppy of call of duty to run at 10 fps or less and then glich out half way through the game. This will force gamers to go to shitttier alternatives which after a while I will then similarly curse.

Lasly I have crated an AI and unleeshed it on the internet. It’s job is samply detect any MLP meme and then create a stupid meme to droun it out and continue it until MLP memes are dead.

This is what u have made me do. I don’t want to be redduced to some game where you try and send me to increasingly horible worlds as I burn them down out of spite. It doesn’t sound fun to me and I hope it doesnt sound fun to you either.

I hope now we are done with this. I hope to have amazing adventures that will keep you entertained for a long time to come. I just need more to work with.

It knows that the Pikachu costume isn't fooling anyone, but it's so desperate that the slim chance that someone might confuse it for something not cursed is enough for it to try. Well don't worry, Mimikyu. I love you. Death note has live action movies?
>>
Hey guys, I talked about making a Guild Wars 2 jump a few threads ago. Don't worry, I'm looking into it. Just been busy with school, and ironically the GW2 pvp league. Rough ideas have been written down though! Anything y'all would like to see? I'm basically putting each class into it's own tree, with a couple things for each race.
>>
>>51501500
Yeah, the difference is that L wins.

>>51501535

>>
>>51501500
Oh, that reminds me. Batmanon, there are no 50 CP options in Death Note.
>>
>>51501535
He finds the Death Note and writes his own name in it. So when Light tries to use it to kill him, it fails because L's death has already been written, which allows L to turn the tables on Light and kill him. Ryuk offers him for him to be the next one to use the Death Note to save himself, but L refuses and decides to enjoy the time he has left.
>>
>>51501501
>I'm basically putting each class into it's own tree, with a couple things for each race.
I'm glad you're taking this suggestion.

It sounds like you're a solid GW2 player, so you should get the lore and the mechanics. Just try and stay true to that, but if it make sense explore themes more than actual game mechanics.

As for suggestions, give how important exploration is maybe a few general perks involving that. One to make you better at navigating, another to provide you with some tangible gain when you do.

Might be worth it to include something about jump puzzles and, to tip a hat to what you're doing, some siege warfare tactics.

Mostly I'm looking forward to swaning about as a giant, sexy non Elementalist, maybe a Mesmer. So long as I can tower over the lesser races I'm good.

If you need to bounce ideas around don't be afraid to post in thread.

Best of luck, GW2anon.
>>
>>51501559
Eww. L dying was best part the manga.
>>
>>51501563
I've got some rough thoughts on the classes. Basically, here's a sort of "generic" class template.
[100] Freebies, Weapon and Armor training mostly.
[200] "fun" little things. Turrets for Engis, Elemental Specializations for Elementalists, the like
[400] Specializations. Not sure if I should just have each specilization up for grabs as it's own thing. You can only use three anyway, and that includes...
[600] Elite Specialization. All the fun stuff that includes.

Thoughts? I might need to move things around or something, but this is a very rough idea

Journal Entry #1132

I killed her… I didn’t mean to. I know I took THAT option but I didn’t know I thought this was going to be something stupid. Toriel was so nice. She reminded me of my own mom but she wouldn’t let me go. I was just trying to show her how strong I was so I could leave.

I am sobbing right now so it’s hard to write. Oh god… what have I done.

Journal Entry #1333

I am not feeling well… That nice skeleton guy is dead too now. I know Reginald was just trying to protect me but I don’t think he would have hurt me. Why is everything going so wrong? I never meant for any of this.

Journal #1334

I killed them all… all of them. They wouldn’t quite hunting me after the deaths. Reginald says it was ok because they were trying to kill me. I feel so numb. I feel so cold. I want to go home… I can’t… I can’t face them after what I’ve done. Oh god what am I going to do?
>>
>>51501639
Yeah, if you want to go that direction with it I think that'll work. If you are going to do that, though, I'd make the racial trees be more thematic and lore based. Honestly, given the nature of how class / race stories work that makes sense anyway.

I'd also include a section for General undiscounted perks.
>>
>>51500882
Every time you have a jumpmaker ask not to be used as a springboard, shitposters inevitably do it anyways. It happened with dirge, it happened with InNomine, people just don't know when to quit.
>>
>>51501665
Uh Ravenloft shouldn't magnifying magic be 600cp? Magic costs are doubled as a human.
>>
>>51501687
Right, I was going to do something like that. Especially since there's no mechanical difference in game. So, for the Asura, I was going to give them something like
[100] Savant - Asura are a naturally intelligent species, and you're no exception. You gain an innate understanding of how to operate and modify Asuran technology, and could probably think of your own ideas given the time. Be warned, the Asura can think of things in a very roundabout way. This is a race that invented the teleporter before the wheel.
>>
Guys, tell me about your Actraiser builds, I'm having trouble with mine. Angelic Advisor seems like the origin I'm going to take, because I really want the Sky Palace, but I'm not sure what to do with the rest of my points.

Go Forth and Multiply sounds really good for the healing, but the "more fertile" part puts me off for reasons I can't quite explain. The "Chosen People" based perks seem like they might be good if I could find a way to use them that I agree with, because I tend to dislike the idea of a "chosen" people.
>>
>>51501761
Yeah, that's a good way to handle that. I wouldn't go a full tree, maybe just roll 1-2-4 for the racial perks
>>
>>51501500
Really liked the anime but didn't see the live actions. Are they any good?

>>51501557
Which version do you have? V1.1 has a 50cp option to import companions. Other than that there's the choose your age and gender options.

I did kind of slip up with the 300cp discounted companions. It's awkward when discounted so I'd be willing to change the ones with discounts to 200cp if that'd be better?

>>51501745
umm crud I do believe that your correct. Alright I'll swap it for analytical and perseverance. I honestly forgot it's been a while since i looked at the Undertale jump..
>>
>>51501778
Yeah, that's not bad. Thinking of what will be better pricing wise will be tricky. Here's another Asura one
[200] Small but Stable - As the shortest race, you've always had to run to keep up with your larger allies. Due to your extensive running and jumping after them, you find yourself never slowed down by size, even if logic should dictate otherwise. As a bonus, should you ever encounter for some reason a long series of small platforms seperated by large distances, you'll find it easier to tightly maneuver these jumps.
>>
>>51501828
That's good too. Looks like you've got a handle on things.

Any suggestions for items you'd like to see? I'm not sure how high up I'd like to make the items. I know I don't want legendaries available to start with, though I might allow Precursors. Might also include a few cash shop items like the infinite tools and merchants.
>>
>>51501665
Oh... oh my... I've never actually seen anyone take the Murdertale route before.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEejgNjVOig
>>
>>51501922
Yeah, I wouldn't give out the game enders for the items section. Include some of the good stuff, but don't offer up the farm. Cash shop items and the like would be great, as would select unlimited crafting mats. I'd also include some of the neat skins and outfits. I had an awesome pirate outfit for my Norn Engineer.

But if you really want to put up legendaries, and you're feeling ambitious, you could write a scenario to serve as a quasi-raid. Risk and reward, ya know?
>>

Write it up as sort of a challenge, eh? Like, if you manage to beat all of the raids, you can get legendary armor? That could be a nice goal.
>>51501995
That's right! The Sylvari are a race of plant people born from the Pale Tree. The oldest of them is only 25 or so, but fortunately they all emerge fully grown, and mostly adult.

Jump #5: Dark Souls - Huh. I think for once we've actually come to a place where nothing could kill us.

>G: I recall you saying much the same thing the last time.

How was I supposed to know hordes of Cliff Riders and demons would be chasing us? We could probably take on any one being, but two armies at once?! That game did not favor us.

Drawbacks: Bonewheel Parade, Grand Conspiracy, Grounded (1600)

Age: 16
Location: Brume Tower (8)
Origin: Drop-in
Gender: Female

-Perks-
Gross Incandescence (1500) - Ooh, this will come in handy whenever I need to make an impression.
Sorcery (1200) - Ooh, neat. "Self-augmentations", eh?
Pyromancy (900) - I am a master of fire!
Soul Smith (600) - ...Hmm. On the one hand, this will help with rebuilding the Treasury, but on the other, its using someones soul to make weapons.

>G: Why not, their all mongrels anyway. They should make themselves useful. I suspect more than a few want to die permanently, anyhow.

...That is a slippery slope I am not willing to step one foot on.

-Companions-
Sir Alonne (100) - Ooh, a new friend.

>G: What are you doing? this is the first time you've purchased that option.

...It occured to me, recently, that every king needs an adjutant or retainer. You had Enkidu. He is mine.

>G: Do not dare compare my relationship with Enkidu to this.

...Yeah, sorry. Anyways...

-Items-
Ring of Restoration (50) - Enhanced regeneration. Neat!
Box of Dragon Scales (0) - Smithing supplies!
Estus Flask (Free) - Something that will probably be useless the second we go to the next world because I didn't buy that one perk! Fuck.
>>
What are the best perks for inducing despair?
>>
>>51502039

So, this was fun. When I wasn't getting knocked into a bottomless pit (Note: Not so bottomless) by some skeleton and saving myself with Enkidu, I was dealing with what seemed to be entire armies of monsters cooperating in some conspiracy to kill me.

>G: I still believe you are being too suspicious.

There is no reason that Smelter Demon should have been on that chain! And the Pursuer showing up, just a few seconds later!? And the archers!? That was a goddamned planned ambush and you know it.

>G: One planned ambush does not a conspiracy make.

Whatever. At least I had Alonne to help me out. A lot of our time was spent helping out the Chosen Undead, opening up shortcuts for them and gathering items to be handed off when possible. Hopefully, they'll return the kindness when the time comes.

Well I was a little worried about how this would turn out. I think it was a little rushed because I am using dice to determine where she jumps next. However while this is a turning point I hope to make the transition to villian protagonist and later antagonist a somewhat natural one.

>>51501971
Well I took suggestions and someone suggested that. I have to admit it makes sense if you are doing a standard renegade jumper.
>>
>>51501665

I like the direction you're going with all this. I've been hoping for a GW2 Jump for a long time.

Overall you seem to have a good handle on things. I would love to see a few of the Non-Playable races included in the Races choice list, but that might be asking a bit much. I know I would be excited to see the Tengu, Kodan and Quaggan as options.

Being forced to be a Skritt seems like it would make a lovely Drawback.

Seeing a few of the Dungeons turned into mini-scenarios might be fun as well, but that would add a lot to the writing load and is a lot to ask for right out of the gate. I just remember enjoying the stories they added into the game. I know Puzzle Island and that virtual world the Asura set up would be just awesome to see mini-scenarios for.

It's going to be great to see what you come up with, when you have the time. No hurry. Hype train at 40%

I'm not gonna lie, I know next to nothing about GW1. I saw there's a mostly finished one around here somewhere. I'd prefer to stick to what I know and just do the second game. Bringing in the entire Tomb of Nazarick would be hilarious, but not recommended.

Joker Immunity- Just like the Joker, you seem to survive pretty much everything and anything that happens to you- it would take deliberate action for your life to be ended, and even then your would-be-killer had better confirm his kill. Maybe you’re just too popular to kill off? (600 CP, discount Drop In)

Insanity Defense- For some reason, people have a hard time killing you- not that you’re any tougher or anything like that, it’s just that they can’t bring themselves to pull the trigger- even when you’ve threatened or even killed thousands of people. Sure, this won’t work on those who are ruthless or villainous, but the good guys or the courts? It’d take you doing something really awful, like killing millions of people in one go or something of a similar nature before they’d decide that you need to be put down. This won’t stop them from putting you in prison, or breaking nearly every bone in your body while putting you there, but you’ll still be alive. (600 CP, discount Drop In)

World’s Greatest Mind- You possess a brilliantly powerful, intelligent mind. Your memory is both perfect and photographic, and you have perfect recollection; you could recite, perfectly, a book from memory after reading it once. You’re good at thinking fast on your feet, and with time to prepare and think you could plan your way out of nearly anything. Additionally, you have fantastic aim and precision, capable of making difficult shots and using the exact amount of force necessary to do the job. (600 CP, discount Bat-family/Vigilante)

>>51502946
All-Star Training- Good training is the difference between you and everyone else. Not only are you trained in nearly every form of martial arts, you learn and master new skills absurdly quick. Watching someone demonstrate a skill will make you a novice; a few hours of practice will make you adept, and a week will make you a master. You’re also capable of sharing some of your capability to learn with others, training others to a point near your level in only a few months. (600 CP, discount Bat-family/Vigilante)

Hybridization- You’re a master biologist, but you know much more than that; you’re capable of creating hybrids between two different creatures, and can even create mutagens that allow people to turn into half-human, half-animal hybrids. In the case of transformations, you can choose how animalistic the mutagen makes someone, both in terms of appearance and in how their mind is altered; the more animalistic, the more powerful. You’re also capable of making such transformations permanent, if you wish. (600 CP, discount Scientist)

Crazed Chemistry- You’ve learned how to make some of the chemicals used by the villains of Gotham; namely Venom, the super-steroid used by Bane, the fear toxin used by Scarecrow, the Joker’s laughing gas, and Renuyu, a “skin revitalizing cream”, which is actually a powerful and extremely addictive drug that allows for temporary shapeshifting by loosening skin cells, allowing the user to shape their features; when Matt Hagen, AKA Clayface, was forcefully overdosed on the drug he gained his superhuman abilities- however it came at the cost of his sanity, his body, and eventually his life as his cells break down, melting his body. In addition, your mastery of chemistry allows you to create similar chemicals and formulas. (600 CP, discount Scientist)

Legitimate Businessman- You are skilled at running businesses, but your greatest talent is at appearing affable, even in spite of your… past activities. People tend to take a more sympathetic stance when it comes to your past crimes, so long as you put on a veneer of civility, while at the same time you lose none of your reputation that you might have in the criminal underworld. And getting the best of both worlds is easy as well; you could easily take on both roles without losing out on much on either side, and you know how far to push either appearance before they start to interfere with each other. Finally, you’re excellent at getting rid of the evidence of your crimes, as well as in making it look like any ill-gotten gains were legitimately obtained. (600 CP, discount Crime Lord)

Lord of the Shadows- You’re a cut above the common rabble of the streets; their empires are but pale shadows of your own. You have the skill to run an entire organization in the shadows, unknown to all but the most knowledgeable or skilled of detectives- and even then, they’ll only know if you let them, or if they’re especially persistent in trying to uncover your conspiracy. You’re incredibly charismatic, as well as an amazing manipulator and liar. (600 CP, discount Crime Lord)

And a bonus:

Servant- You’re well-versed in all the duties required of a good butler; you’re extremely skilled at doing housework, cooking, and the repair or upkeep of a home. You can make a fantastic cup of tea, and can snark and banter with the best of them. (100 CP)

Deranged Fan- Somehow, you've attracted the attention of one of the crazies in Gotham- not surprising, considering how many there are- only instead of wanting to bash your face in they're deeply, madly in love with you. Fortunately, unlike most patients at Gotham, they're actually pretty attractive, and aside from their obsession over you they're relatively well adjusted. They've also constructed their own costume, which either emulates your own or shares a general theme that you have. I have one daughter, which is a miracle in itself. See, I decided ages ago I'd never have children-BUT I've always been a strong believer in magically using every bit of the buffalo, so to speak. And there's a lot of potential mystic energy involved in the process of childbirth.

So I used the Third and First Magic as well as HSDW to fully integrate my Noble Phantasm into my Reality Marble and Origin. Ever since then, my semen's been liquid True Ether swarming with self-replicating Command Seal-tentacles.

The point being-when I saved an alternate universe version of my ex through emergency prana transfusion in Mage: The Awakening, I was NOT prepared for a Judgement egg to wash up on my doorstep in Sunless Sea, with a note addressed to me. This should have been impossible on multiple levels.

I try to be the work-hard-play-hard kind of dad, but-I often end up spoiling my daughter just because I'm in unfamiliar territory. Also, because she's very fiery and enthusiastic about everything, and prefers to do things her way. I raised her not to be careless, but-she's ultimately a very free spirit at heart.

I TRY to be understanding, but it's still frustrating that Sunny would rather walk the earths exploring, fighting and generally adventuring than realise her full potential as a cosmic being. Actually, she's been really keen on self-mastery, since she developed a technique to seal her own powers in order to have better fights.

It's just-she could be doing more with her life, you know.

So I have a question, looking through the fate/stay night jump it says demi-servants and it says you gain the background but not the 100 point per, or access to the supplement or 1000sp. Maybe I am misreading something but what do you get?
>>
>>51504024
Well, personally speaking, I'm really lazy and don't feel like cross checking all kinds of legends and shit to build a new servant from the ground up.
Because I feel like if I made an OC servant, I'd want to do it right, y'know?
Back when making OC servants was popular, I was going to take Albert Einstein. I got the go ahead from Val and everything. But then when it came time to build it, I ran into a critical deficit of fucks.

So I'd rather just wait for Nasu to make stuff and then try to recreate it, because fuck effort.
That's how I got Nero.
If/when we get more Fate jumps, I might try to pick up Alexander or Tesla. I'm not really sure, desu.

>>51499129

Eidolon can be obtained with Complete Arsenal and a shit ton of time/practice.

Kaleidoscope can be obtained with the Second Magic, a shit ton of time/practice, and an extraordinary amount of raw power to fuel it.

Second Magic doesn't really do the whole copying powers from fictional characters bit right? At least I've never heard of it doing anything like that.

I guess you could get Eidolon. Although the version from the Worm jump is somewhat different from the one in the cyoa in how it works. Eidolon comes with a lot of quality of life stuff that complete arsenal just doesn't have even as the powerlevel grows.
>>
>>51504383

>>
>>51504416
>Second Magic doesn't really do the whole copying powers from fictional characters bit right? At least I've never heard of it doing anything like that.
Not from fictional characters but you can do alternate versions of yourself, which means you could probably draw on the powers of other people from other universes with enough practice/power. While the Pre Spark barrier would keep you from using it on characters from outside your current multiverse that goes away post spark leaving you with pretty much every character you can imagine at your disposal.

>Eidolon comes with a lot of quality of life stuff that complete arsenal just doesn't have
Like what? Just to make sure you remember worm powers give you an innate knowledge of it's use so it does have that one.

>>51504442
>All the True Magics cap out at being unable to breach Avalon without a decisive blow to the head/heart
Avalon is a True Magic itself in case you have forgotten, a very narrow one that isn't recognized by the mages association (as far as I know) but it is real conceptual Nasuverse magic. It isn't weird that other Magic can't pierce it.

>Zelretch couldn't fully kill Crimson Moon Brunestud with it.
Because he wasn't good enough with it, not saying a jumper would be either but jumpers tend to be bullshit.
>>
>>51504345
If i remember right most of the companions from that jump are OC with a few of them being based on characters from the movie a few years back.

I do seem to remember the professor being an OC based on Frankenstein but gender bend and slightly more crazy. Don't quote me on that though since i can't remember if it was the jump maker that said that, or some anon.
>>
>>51504502
I know it is. And since Avalon itself seems far below the scope of the CYOA's Kaleidoscope I see no reason for the other Magics to approach it.

>Because he wasn't good enough with it

I just think you're vastly, vastly, vastly underestimating the sheer scope of what Kaleidoscope can potentially offer, which as written exceeds the Second's demonstrated feats so much you should really consider trying something other than the Second to emulate it when comparing them is like comparing a toy bike to a bullet train.
>>
>>51504469
>Alexandria:There are plenty of ways to get those powers,I recommend mantra level VIII from Asura's Wrath
Not even close.

>eidolon You can get a weaker version of this from worm
The power in worm will eventually get up there. Maybe.

>Power manipulation. eating Amazo from one of the DC jumps with something like Savage salvage or fusion Boomer, Agitation Field from SCP, sacrificial bestowment from SMT
For the last time, eating Amazo doesn't guarantee that Amazo's copying powers will always work.

>> Shaper alpha level biokinesis from LoT,primal zurg,Prototype.
You're still missing a lot of things.
>>
>>51504502
Well for one you get to control the specifics of what you get with Eidolon. Complete arsenal just gives you something helpful at the time when you switch out. Eidolon is also capable of choosing what you need rather than what you want precog style. It's also much faster on the draw with no need to wait minutes to catch up after a switch.

Complete aresenal is very good, but Worm CYOA powers are bullshit of the highest order. It's just not going to be able to keep up even if you do give it time.
This isn't even accounting for the fact that Worm CYOA powers grow lightning fast from their base over time.
>>
>>51504469
That's just emulating the style really.
Kind of like a bargain bin knock off of a dollar store knock off compared to the original.

If nothing else, you might be able to use a Post-Spark wish (such as the ones from Fate, Tower of God(good luck getting this one), etc) for each of them, but I don't think there's enough for every power.

>>51504604
Worm powers grow over time and with use IIRC. So with enough time dialation you could speed things up from a relative perspective.

>>
>>51504324
>>51504311
OK, here is my guess:
>>51504324
>Kaleidoscope
Probably the trickiest. Second and Fifth Magic (Fate/Stay Night)are probably a good start (assuming that you can train them to their full potential). You could also replace any or both of them with the First Magic if you're willing to spent the time. Add Doormaker (Worm) and Portal Gun (Rick & Morty) to always have parallel dimensions at your disposal.
Not a necessity, but if you're doing time travel, you probably will want Narnia's Time (Chronicles of Narnia) so you don't accidentally undo yourself. Level 10 mage in Hero BBS can also let you travel free through space and time. Including the whole moving things from a dimension to another.
Post-spark, you have Papradoxical (Ben 10), that gives you free space-time travel.
The Second Magic covers most of the summoning, but Summoning Magic (No Game No Life) + the Summon Specialization (Overlord) would also help. Specially for the loyalty part. Anima Beyond Fantasy also has some nice perks for summoning.

>Alexandria

Superior Irken Organs (Invader Zim) remove physical needs, for strength probably Kryptonian (Superman: TAS) and Cell Android (Dragon Ball Multiverse) can do most of the punching part. Mantra (Asura's Wrath) could also work, but you would need a constant huge supply of mantra.
For the physical damage immunity, the closest that you can get would be using Soft Physics (Worm).

>Inspired Inventor

Just throw genius perks in here. You will probably not be able to replicate the highest feats with perks alone without some hard work (like specializing in Multiversal Reality Warping), but you can get close. Rick & Morty is a good start. Genius from DC is a close second.

>Legend

Power Well (Worm) is basically Legend’s power minus the FTL. Add laser eyes (Superman: TAS), any advanced Ki user (Dragon Ball: Multiverse) and Lighthawk Wings (Tenchi Muyo First Generation Ship and search for a way to put them on you), and you pretty much have this.
The breaker state could be replicated with any energy absorption perk. I know that Worm has one and X-men has another.
The FTL part can be replicated using the Lighthawk wings, high level mantra, or tinker enough with yourself to make you a spaceship on your own. Maybe eat one using Salvage Savage (Kantai) + Assimilation (Worm)? Probably need something as well for those reaction times.

>Psychokinetic

A symbiote (Symbiote) if you provide it with enough energy and a way to cool itself down, as well as some mirror dimensions, should be able to handle this.
High-end symbiotes work on an atomic level.

>Eidolon

Complete Arsenal (Worm) is the one that comes the closest. Maybe have your Thanatos (Worm) to consume Scion for his improved version of Eidolon’s power?

>Emperor of Man

Be a Psyker. Have a big ass soul. That’s basically it. Psychonouts has some nice psychic boosters.

>Shaper

Maxed up Prototype (Protype). Alpha Psyker specialized in biokinesis (Warhammer Jumps). Various Zerg perks (Starcraft: Zerg). EVO: Search for Eden perks. Geneforge perks. Biosculpter (Worm) Self-Molecular Manipulation (X-Men). A Symbiote (Symbiote).
That should do it for most of the self-manipulation, the knowledge and manipulating others.
Boogie Manimal (Worm) and Broodmother (SCP) to create minions. My Favorite Food (Carnivores) or any other ‘unlimited supply of X food’ would solve your biological mass needs.
>>
>>51504658
>>51504672
I did say that Savage Salvage would let you eat Amazo to get his power copying ability, and that it would work in the way we were shown (no magic, no spiritual).

I did not say abilities gained in this way would be backed by fiat.

I did also say that powers that Amazo/a person who ate Amazo could copy would also be valid for Amazo's Backup Memory, since it updates whenever you get new powers.

I did not claim that Amazo's replication power would always work, and it's more than likely with all the stuff in Jumpchain that there are things that Amazo would be unable to copy even if they didn't fall under the banner of magic or spiritualism.

>>51504971
>Power Manipulation

Contractor (Worm) can give some minor powers. Power Copying (Heroes) can copy a power at a time, as long it’s biological. Use Personal Analysis and Record of Evolution (EVO) to see what’s changing. Use one of the many biologist perks and Self-Molecular Manipulation (X-Men) or a Symbiote (Symbiote) to replicate the changes. For copying magic you have Dark Wisdom (Overlord), Spell Recollection (Libriomancer) and Sorcerer Savant (Young Justice). For copying techniques you have Copy-cat (Ranma 1/2).
To give other people powers, you can either use Lip Service (Medaka Box), which will always be returned to you either after their death or at the end of the jump, or Sacrificial Bestowment (SMT).
I don’t think there is a perk that would let you directly create powers without any effort, but get enough genius perks, grab the Flask Plan Data (Medaka Box) and Gene-ius (X-Men) and you could create your own powers with enough effort.
Blank (Warhammer 40k: Imperium) + Agitation Field (SCP) + Moloch's Razor (Girl Genius) + Q This (Star Trek TNG) + Jam (RWBY) would allow you to nullify the powers of others.

Well, the main thing going for Jumpchain is magic and having all your abilities fiat-backed.

If you get magic via the Worm CYOA's powers, there is a high chance that it will do nothing in most other settings, because the metaphysics needed for them to work aren't simply there. Of course, you could always get around this by getting even more powers, but you don't have the backing of an omnipotent being behind them, so you could be hard-pressed if you try to take on the higher-ups of some multiverses.

The cap is 999^4, which is just under a trillion souls. Google says that 55.3 million people die every year, so multiplying that by ten and assuming death rates similar to the real world means we can expect 553 million people to die over the course of a standard jump. 999^4/(553*10^6)=1801. So, 1800 normal jumps to fill the Sky Palace doesn't seem, to me, like an unreasonable estimate. We have less than 1,000 jump. You could even give yourself a little more wiggle room if you don't use it in settings with a confirmed "good" afterlife.

Unless you're trying to absorb all the souls of a space opera setting, you probably won't run out of space during the course of a normal chain.

Cell has two types of absorption. One is to drain regular people of their energy, which just adds to his powerlevel. The second is to absorb his 'brother and sister', who he was specifically designed to integrate and powerup from. We don't know if he can integrate other beings.

Various videogame adaptations have 'what if' scenarios where Cell absorbs other people, like Yamcha, Krillin, or 16, and integrates and changes based on them, but since this is just a spinoff thing we can't say it's canon or not. However we're talking about Multiverse, so someone more knowledgeable might be able to say that it DOES fall in line with the official spinoffs.

Cell is made up of the DNA of most of the Z warriors already, and has their techniques taught to him by Gero's machines. Otherwise, most of them are just learnable and not innate powers, so he can pick something up from observation.
>>
>>51506930
It wouldn't be a walk in the park by any stretch, but ... well, 26CR. If you've never played D&D let me just say that CR 26 is just fucking insane. Add to that the fact that you're not just a 26CR punch beast, you've got a bunch of sly abilities that give a smart jumper tons of options.

So, like said, it's not easy, but it's definitely doable.
>>
>>51506836
If I remember correctly Cell basically absorbs their life energy and gains access to their ki, meaning he permanently gets stronger every time he absorbs someone. He doesn't get any of their abilities, only their ki. He wipes out whole cities this way, consuming millions of people to increase his combat power. Majin, on the other hand, consume people completely and assimilate everything while keeping them "in storage" and unconscious. This includes not only their whole power, including their ki and special abilities, but also all of their combat knowledge, their techniques, and prominent parts of their personality. It's complete assimilation but it comes with the downside of changing who you are if the person you're consuming has a very strong personality.

At least that's how I think it works.

Cell doesn't appear to absorb anyone else in Multiverse.

He's just mentioned to massacre the earth and turn it into his playground, after killing Gohan and the rest.
>>
>>51506911
Slime Rancher's good for resources since the stuff you can make with slime plorts is quite a lot.

Forgotten Realms seems like the perfect place to blow all your budget in companions and get epic races for everyone.

>>51506970
That sounds right. Honestly, just getting Copycat should be enough and going with Cell seems a much superior choice.

Specially since Cell has the Saiyan physiology, which lets him become stronger each time he gets close to death and his regeneration is pretty close to Buu's.
>>
>>51506966
Only a 4th level caster though. Which is kinda disappointing.

>>
>>51506930
Give this list a look. https://media.wizards.com/2014/downloads/dnd/MM_MonstersCR.pdf According to this list, which was created by WotC, the only thing higher on the scale of woe than a 26CR beastie is a Tarrasque.

Tarrasques for frame of reference are giant fucking planar beasts that cannot be killed by anything. If you manage to overcome all its insane defenses and whittle its HP down, all you'll do is more or less put it to sleep. It'll wake up sometime later, decades, eons, whatever, and go back to wrecking everything. If a D&D universe were to end, there'd still be a tarrasque floating in the nothingness waiting for something to show up so that it could fucking wreck it.

That's the only thing that trumps a TD /wyrmling/.
>>
>>51507004
I don't think so. You're not actually integrating them with your biology, but more like storing them inside of you and using their Ki and minds as batteries.

They're not part of you.
>>
>>51507008
Size of an Elephant though, Time Dragon eggs be biiiig.
>>
>>51507020
There are some pretty great Celestial types. Half-Celestials are amazing, because they have most of the power of Celestials but they have the freedom of humann beings.
>>
>>51507007
Nah, just go with Majin, have some kind of "you're always you" perk, and then eat a Saiyan.
>>
>>51507025

Hi all. What is the normal procedure for making and submitting a new jump? I've been thinking about a Watch Dogs 2 jump (if no one else has been working on one).
I know people either posts bits of it directly here or pdf draft versions of the jumps, but I've never been online when someone has started a new jump. How should I go about it?
>>
>>51507004
I don't think it would work.

There's no real need for that anyway. It's theoretically possible to free someone who's been absorbed by a Majin but it's so difficult and requires such a set of events that it's nearly impossible. The only reason Goku and Vegeta managed it was because of their unique circumstances.
>>
Okay, so new plan. How hard would it be to trick a Fat Buu into giving me his absorption powers with Deal With The Devil from Ghost Rider?
>>
>>51507048
There is no canonical way to kill one, the GM is supposed to come up with one to prevent anyone being able to metagame the nastiest monster in the first MM.

You're basically your own GM, so if you want it to work, you can say so.

Speaking of Buus and Saiyan power-up, I remember a fanon Buu who had gained Saiyan physiology and constantly tricked his body to 'destroy itself' and instantly regenerate to power-up multiple time each second.

you can now absorb flesh, souls and machine alike alike and with something like power of dominace you essentlially dont have to worry about overwhelming you own mind. If a setting has lots of stuff in it but also shows the occasional smut (in like 1 panel every 40 or 60 pages max and usually only breasts at that) but the jump would not have any mention of lewd because the setting is not about the lewd would that work and be an acceptable jump or what? What is the cut off? I haven't made any jumps but I want to make one.

From my knowledge, the main robotic component is an engine that, in the 17 and 18 designs, does away with your natural ki production and gives you an stand-in energy production. It has a maximum power output that can't be improved, but it doesn't run out at that level, which translates into 17 and 18 having infinite 'ki' and stamina. This upper cap is why Gero went with the energy vampire design, because it would theoretically outpower 17 and 18 if he had gotten his hands on enough ki. Anyway, beyond that, we don't know of any other robotic body parts. 18 still has her girl parts, we know that much, but otherwise neither of them ever gets mangled enough for us to see their innards like the other androids.

1-16 are entirely robotic. 19-20 are brains piloting fully robotic bodies.

He seems to think less that humans are 'the people of Earth' and more that humans are the mortal races, considering he keeps calling Saiyans humans, and how Earth is also full of furries that he's killing.

Well I didn't want to make it a big deal since the artist has done some stuff in the past but it's the monster under the bed. I love webcomics. It's about a bed monster who falls in love with a boy.

That sounds very cute.

To be fair I'd be confused too if I met a sentient species of ape that elected a dog as president at one point, interbred several times with another species of ape and also is robots sometimes.

Clothes beam is just magic, and magic is fairly rare in DBZ. It exists, but not many practice it because ki is generally better. Until magic goes and creates shit like Majin Buu anyway.
>>
>>51507852
Dragon Ball creation is, in DBZ canon, an ability of powerful Dragon Clan Namekian sages. Remember that Guru made Dragonballs too.

It's important to remember, the average race in DBZ can be completely eradicated by the Frieza Soldiers. Power level wise, those guys are at, what, 2000? The people stronger than that are rare, and they generally range between that and Frieza's 1st form. And Frieza's 1st form? Was considered the strongest thing in the galaxy by most, because beings stronger than him are vanishingly rare, and don't even reach triple digits.

Now humans? First up, people think using ki is common. It's not. Most races don't seem to even be ABLE to use it, or if they can, it's only the product of genetic mutations. Humans? Absolutely every single one of them has potential to learn ki. On top of that, humans can get bullshit strong. The strongest humans, who had nothing special about them except hard work, managed to outpower Frieza's first few forms of all beings. Then, if we want to extrapolate from there, we can entirely blame the Androids and Cell on humans. After all, both of those were entirely human creations, and the androids didn't involve any kind of non-human input. The androids outpower Frieza's final form, and Cell eventually matches a SSJ2. At that level, the only beings stronger are Buu, some but not all of the Supreme Kais, the Gods of Destruction and their handlers, and the Omni King.

The only thing that makes humans weak is that they aren't born with ki usage like most ki using species seem to be. That they have to learn it means most stay weak. This changes in the DBO timeline, though.
>>
>>51508098
That's a great idea. That webcomic is surprisingly good and has a lot of potential. Good luck making the Jump. I'll be looking forward to seeing it.
>>
Apologies, but did anything ever come out of the Fantastic Beasts jump idea? I THINK Cats wanted to make it, or update HP or something...
>>
>>51507853
Are they re-using the concept of SSJ4 and its channeling of oozaru power into SSJ power?
>>
>>51508234
I feel like you're extrapolating way too far. I assume most races are perfectly capable of learning how to use Ki like humans, it's just that earth has an unnaturally high concentration of magic, aliens, existing ki users and so on that mean humans get more chances.

The androids too, who's to say stuff like them doesn't exist elsewhere in the universe? The androids never left earth, plenty of powerful things could exist on other planets. In Multiverse we see an entire universe have all it's contestants be crazy strong tech humans from one world.

Humans are weak. Ki users are strong. The only reason humans fall behind are because most of the heroes and villains are ki users AND strong aliens too.
>>
>>51508275

The wish was to remove the bomb because Krillin wanted to do something nice for her.
>>
>>51508279
>The androids too, who's to say stuff like them doesn't exist elsewhere in the universe?
Probably the fact that Frieza is considered to be the strongest in the galaxy. If beings like Android 17 and 18 were at all common then nobody would care about Frieza.
>>
>>51508279
senpai the only thing that makes those aliens strong is ki, generally. You don't get how DBZ works. Innate non-ki powers generally are nothing more than icing, never the cake.
>>
>>51508323
Please read the whole of my posts. The Androids never left earth. Even Cell didn't. Again, who is to say that similar things do not exist elsewhere in the universe that don't leave their own planets and thus are not known to the wider universal community, just like the androids aren't?
>>
>>51508271
Yeah I'm doing it.

I want to watch through the thing again for more content at some point but I only got round to seeing it a few weeks ago so haven't fancied it.

>>
>>51508334
Yes, Zenkai and Super Saiyan are icing. Majin absorption is just icing. Effortless regeneration is just icing. You have never read DBZ if you still somehow have this delusion that the only difference between humans and the other major alien races are just that the latter get stronger ki for no reason.
>>
>>51508224
>Fine, I wish you were a human girl and my waifu!
>PLEASE STOP
>>
>>51508342
What did you think of the movie?
>>
>>51508339
You accuse me of extrapolating, but you are making baseless conclusions instead. You need evidence to push that idea. You can assume that out there is a magical being stronger than the omni king, but until you have a reason to believe that, you can't treat that as a viable point to argue. Don't forget that Frieza has a galactic empire and operates a planet capture and resale business for other rich tyrants. This is not an empty, isolated universe for the most part, either.

Okay so I was considering something. If I go with Majin and then eat a Saiyan and Frieza, then use Final Form to access those abilities in another alt-form, could I have both Frieza's bone armor exoskeleton and transformations and Super Saiyan? Because I feel like those would look pretty baller when used together and combined with the right alt-form.

Or come to think of it, I wonder if being a Cell would give me the potential to use those abilities without even having to eat anyone?
>>
>>51508359

>>
>>51508147
Is there anything unique about Namekian dragonball creation that other folks lack?
>>
>>51508396
Not that we know of, but it's not like the Supreme Kais ever offer to make a wish granting device. It's magic, it doesn't normally make sense.
>>
>>51508381
Well, any jump that lets you become a god and take on certain aspects could let you do that as well. So Danmachi, Supernatura, and Lord of Light would work. God of War might as well.
>>
>>51508375
I accused you of that because you just went "Most races can't learn ki at all" which is absolutely not supported at all. All I'm saying is that the possibility that someone in the very vast universe managed to match one guy's on earths work at least once might exist. It certain;y does in Multiverse. Yes Frieza has that business but it's also a business that's constantly finding and conquering new worlds. He hasn't found every planet in existence and everytime we see one of Frieza's forces landing on a world, that world's never even heard of Frieza before.
>>
>>51508386
>The majority of the alien races that appear more then once or twice have genuine advantages over humans
Maybe you should just try rewording your original post anon?
>>
>>51508414
To be fair, it's not that vast. It only has like four galaxies and I'm pretty sure they're collectively smaller than one real galaxy.
>>
>>51508447
Pretty sure Super cleared up that it's a lot more then 4 galaxies though
>>
>>51508447
>>51508461
As of Super, it's actually been retconned to be more like real life in the number of galaxies. Bit weird and I don't really understand why but it is a thing.

>>
>>51508414
>>51508489
To be blunt, your argument relies on gaps. It's like a religious argument, you cannot conclusively disprove any deity exists, therefore they must exist. Don't make arguments based on gaps. Find evidence, or express a wishy-washy possibility instead of making it your fucking thesis that somehow androids are common.
>>
>>51508489
Don't you think maybe that might be a bad idea?
>>
>>51508373
I liked it a lot given the worst case scenario would have been something like a repeat of the Star Wars prequels.

It was pretty competently made, well acted and added some nice stuff to the lore which is about as much as you can hope for from something like this.

Also thought the Obscurus stuff was pretty neat, particularly given it explained what Ariana Dumbledore probably was so gave a canon justification for that plotpoint in the Deathly Hallows.
>>
>>51508414
Also, part of you seems to be in this because you hate humans and want to prove that they deserve it by being weak.
>>
>>51508498
Jesus you're a cunt aren't you? I just said I was only saying the possiblity exists, not that every fucking world has an android analogue. Go remove the stick from your ass you gigantic dickhead.

Pretty hypocritical anyway coming fromthe guy who claimed that humans were special because unlike all other aliens, they can learn Ki, and apparently most aliens are completely incapable despite having zero evidence for that. But then again, you're just here to be a dick aren't you?

Obscurus was fucking awesome. It had that cool smoke darkness aesthetic.

How many ways are there to get yourself as a Companion? The ones I know of are the Legitimate Existential Angst drawback in GUNNM, the Paradox Clone from Sburb, and the Distaff/Spear Counterpart from Problem Sleuth, but I'm pretty sure there are more.
