So where do you guys buy your dice? Got a favorite brand? Do you use monopoly dice for a d6?

I go for the Chessex Pound o'dice to fill out my ordinary selection, then pick up specific nicely coloured, patterned or shaped novelty dice that seem cool.

Currently awaiting the delivery of the latest set of novelty dice from PolyHero, the Wizard set. Their original Warrior set was pretty good but had some production problems, but from the sound of it the company is improving their production capabilities for the next run, so hopefully they'll roll better and such.
>>
OP here what would you guys recommend dice wise for someone looking for something on the cheap?

If you're buying in bulk, the Pound o'dice is pretty good. Thirty bucks for a hundred assorted dice.

Remember that autist/troll we had a while back about how he didn't let anyone roll with anything other than his precision dice set, and absolutely hated weird dice like this? Man, he was fun to get a rise out of.

I remember that thread. I, personally , would love if my players brought their own dice (assuming that they're not weighed but who would do that?)

I'm a sucker for unique dice concepts. Spinner rings, special materials, etc. Be nice to have a thread that gets them all listed in one place. Or an infographic.

Beware, sometimes you'll get flubbed and imperfect dice in these bags. I got a translucent purple d20 that has the 16 side bulging out and a d8 with what looks like a burn score on it.
Still a great deal, pounds o'dice are always great to have.

Artisan dice for fancy materials
PolyHero for fun shapes
Shapeways for interesting/odd designs (caveat emptor)
and there's more I can't think of

PolyHero actually posted some rather neat teasers for potential dice designs for their next campaign.

Always wanted an ivory or bone set of dice. Would be awesome if I was rolling a necromancer character.

Been looking for a nice stone set, like polished granite or something, but they only sell d6s.
