Pokemon TCG thread
A friend and I have been thinking about starting to play the game. I'm used to MTG where 90% of "beginner-friendly" products are absolute trash, like intro decks and deck-builder toolkits.
More info in 2nd post.
After some research, I have a feeling that this product (Rayquaza vs Keldeo Battle Arena decks) are a good place to start. Not sure though, also not sure how it compares to other Battle Arena products that are still on Amazon for the same price.
Any advice on what to buy? Already have playmats and MTG sized sleeves.

We've both played Pokemon long ago, so no need. I already tried the online version and the free trial starter decks are boring as shit. Want to play paper TCG.
Isn't there a live action Pokémon with Adrian Brody?
>water deck
>this smug fucker would win games by itself simply by stunlocking and hitting for 20 every turn the opponent with one blue energy before the deck was edited and removed it.
>even if they get out of it, odds are you have a bench full of heavy hitters by now
The only possible way of escape is if they evolved or the coin flipped tails then heads on the wake up check.
