What kind of setting lets you use Mecha, Robots, Swords, Kung Fu Hobos, Laser Pistols...? Like Dr.Slump or Dragon Ball more or less.
How do I mix it up and still convey a feeling of "It's ok, just roll with it" instead of players questioning everything?

Super hero universe, some surreal bullshit, travel between worlds
You'd also probably want a superhero system to be able to stat all that shit

What erryone else said.
Light sci-fan and supers settings can have whatever you want to have in them without it being jarring.
Dungeons the Dragoning is another good example.
And clear communication is important OP, talking to your players and making sure they understand the nature of the universe.
Be consistent in your lack of realism/consistency. If you're writing up a science-fantasy kitchen sink bizarro universe, don't waste any time on encumbrance limits, healing/training times or bullshit like that. Roll with the crazy and have fun.

Strike Legion babyyyyy

Space fantasy.
Tell players to think Star Wars meet Gundam and everyone have clear idea of what you are going for.
Gamma World is straight-up kitchen sink science fantasy.

The way Dragon Ball does it (never read Dr. Slump):
Have fun with it and don't strain yourself to justify the coexistence.

Feng Shui is your dame.

Feng Shui.
>2056 juncture is Robots, cyborgs, insane high tech / magic fusion powered partially by demonic energy.
>69 AD juncture is sorcerers and supernatural creatures.
>1850 juncture is kung fu revolution.
>contemporary juncture is maverick cops on the edge and special forces controlled by shadowy quasi - governmental secret cabals.
It's hong Kong action cinema at its finest.
