Alright assholes. It's happening. I'm embarking on a great and terrible mission. I'm going to rewrite how a fucking SPACE MAGIC MICROWAVE works, to behave like actual cooking, because I hate myself.
The specific-and-exact recipes that currently exist will be preserved more or less intact, I think, but I'm going to start tinkering with how the process of actually making them works.
So that no longer will their contents be hardcoded with some minor leeway, but entirely determined by the ingredients used.

Note to self, make Mystery Soup a "sufficient" recipe, not an "exact" recipe.

FOR THE NEXT RECOMPILE:
added a preferences toggle for the god-awful racket instruments make
because of how preferences work, if you've already played here you'll have to enable instruments in preferences
new players will have instruments enabled by default (poor them)

also adding a recipe for pipe guns, although it's a little wonky and i'm not entirely proud of it.
currently you combine a (possibly reinforced) pipe and and endcap, then take a welder to the pieces. you can use the pieces in-hand to get the pipe and endcap back if you've somehow managed to accident yourself past the 3 second do_after()

fixed blindness being gobshite, fixed the blindness sprite showing up over the hud and looking like ugly shit because some faggot couldn't be bothered setting layers

simple_animals will take a small amount of damage from stamina damage sources - in particular, the disabler, rubber bullets, and beanbag shells.
the damage is roughly 1/8th of the stamina damage value, which is 3-4 for disablers and rubber bullets, and 10 for beanbags. this means you'll be able to injure carp with them, but nowhere near as effectively as if you'd used an actual fucking bullet you scrub.
i debated changing it so that rubber bullets and beanbags would just do mild brute to anything they hit anyway, but to be honest that'd just be missing the point.

made wooden pavises randomize icon on spawn. can still be manually changed icon by the verb attached to them.
fortification.dm:
unfucked my spaghetti hopefully. Projectiles WILL now pass over barriers facing the same direction as them, so layering barriers can be effective against sustained fire, but they must all face the same direction. Doubling them up (i.e north/south) on the same tile will block fire in BOTH directions. You can vault over fortifications by using their attached verb. Vaulting only allowed in cardinal directions, and only allowed if you would otherwise not be able to move over the object. Don't try anything funny like vaulting into walls or something because it wont work. Non-lethal projectiles dealing stamina damage will now damage fortifications for 60% of their damage (which is then reduced by how much resistance vs bullets a fortification has). For reference, a 10mm NL round from a sec handgun will do five damage against sandbags, which have 100 HP.
Power/cell.dm:
Cells show exact numeric charge next to percentage on examine.
icons/obj/mining.dmi:
downsized retardedly oversized sandstone brick sprite by 75% so its not so glarigly ugly in the heat of combat when your sandbags break down.

>They book it like librarians as I break the second airlock and start to clamp
>I follow the RD into the mining area to clamp him, I force him out the airlock with only riot gear so he'll die, and lily follows but runs out
>I get hit with two emp shells I think, and as I get out to fight on ground the airlock closes
>Lee shoots her as I break down the grille and window with my N10SP, and Lee puts two birdshots into Lily's fat face
>Rejoice, and explain the situation to Jon
>Give him back armory stuff that I don't want anymore
>Hey an old man needs his money somehow
>Take out my thermite and delete the entire bottom wall of cargo and some of the left
>Grab access and space the two bodies, and see an arrow and break out a dead person in a locker
>Immediately go to drop off my mech at research, but it's out of power
>Ask about power and go to the bar to enjoy a drink, but find the scientist friend cacoon'd
>Drill him out and get him to medbay, which is covered in vines
>Fucking goddamnit
>Go to cargo to get a weed control crate as Lee and Jon go into medbay to fight the vines with welders
>Get shot by the janitor with a spear gun, taze him and laser him to death because I've had enough of this station's shit
>Clown hits me with a wrench once but I explain what happened, he fucks off

>Quickly back in and wipe my brow
>Lee teleports the dead Jon to the shuttle, and I heal him from the dead with my special hot coco mix

>Give Lee enough money for a gumball with space inflation
>We arrive at centcomm, ion and laser the other two
>4 mecha carp await me
>I decide in a haste to TP, but I see the active one so I'm curious as to what it is

>Laugh it off as I intended this to happen, and get back to research on a now quiet station
