It's a roll20 trove. Each zip, aside from Jon Pintar's Old Maps, is named after the set that is on the roll20 marketplace. The main folders are named after the artist who made the set and the zips inside the folder are the names of the actual set they made on the marketplace. I took time to rename each zip after each set name instead of leaving it as the random numbers when you download the zip from Roll20 so it can be easier for people to know what is inside without downloading it.

If you want to know what's inside the zip files google the artist name (folder) and set name (zip file inside the folder) on google and it will show you the set on the Roll20's market place.

I don't know personally, I only archive data from here. The method in the document above was given the nod by kind souls here.

I have noticed that newer games are much more likely to be taken down than older ones.
The classics often stay up for years.
I wouldn't worry about posting games from the 90's and earlier.
I can't make any promises, but it seems like all that would happen is they might get taken down.
Others with real experience are welcome to offer better advice.

I see posts like this from time to time and I just want to say that this type of "Get gud scrub" attitude isn't useful or helpful.

I appreciate what this community is doing and want to take part, but being slagged off as a window-shopper just because I don't yet know the ropes doesn't teach me how to get better at following the etiquette of this community.

It's less a game and more a structured collective thought experiment. You can get the gist of its rules easily from Aria Roleplay: Canticles of Monomyth, which Microscope borrows from, but it's more cluttered and has worse presentation. Mostly it's desired because it's hard to share.

Sure. I can help you with DB1, and C1, both decent modules. DB2-3 are, well, mediocre crawls, and you'll be better off adapting something from the Dungeon Crawl Classics line and placing it in the Highlands.

I should note that the DB modules and some other ones are on sale now, and you can grab them for less than $2.

And I am still looking for those Haunted Highlands books.

I guess any outline should be the outline of the setting. The whole C line of C&C modules takes place in Darkenfold, a deep forest complex, full of abandoned ruins, woodland creatures and fey magic.

The first descriptive sentence of C1 is "The Darkenfold swallows you in a sea of green" and it's basically it. C1 is a short, plot driven adventure, that serves as a very good introduction to Darkenfold, even though the plot is somewhat lacking.

I like C2 better because it's got a town and some adventure locales (nice temple ruins), very loosely connected. So it plays more to the idea that it's not about a plot, but about the surroundings. Reminds me of B2, the classic one.

There are some in depth reviews on tenfootpole, that could tell you much more about the modules. I like them very much, even though I only have the two first ones.
