If the personal belongings include experiments, superweapons, or any sort of wacky super science it's probably on lockdown while being investigated indefinitely. If it's just things of personal value I imagine it would just become a shrine world, as those have popped up for much less

Gait knew the stories and the rumours, and knew they were stupid. No dire curse-runes, no pages of human skin or ridiculous incantations to appease dead spirits.
