As a Swede, getting some powerful nostalgia.

Ducks, the most dangerous race

I've been playing it for about a year now, have a new campaign coming up next weekend. Anything in particular that seems complicated?
Was Chronopia based on it?

Based on what?
>>51307130
Yep. Fifth edition of DoD introduced Chronopia in 1994, though it was rather different than the wargame that came out in 1998. Adrian Smith (who did a lot of the artwork for the wargame) started doing most of the interior artwork from the second book onward.
How is the english translation?

Of which edition?

I only ever played this once, I think, but it's an interesting enough game.
Although I also played the third edition or something along those lines with a fuckton of houserules from the DM's side of things and little-to-no reading on my part, but it was fun.

Is there more than one? The latest one then, the one that is presented as the english translation.

There are eight editions. 1st-4th were derivative of Chaosium's Basic Role Playing with a hodge-podge of a setting that became Ereb Altor (and this is where the ducks are). 5th tried to create a new original setting, Chronopia, but there was player backlash, and Target Games (or Aventyrsspel in Swedish) shut down in 1999. I'm not sure if 6th edition had a setting, or if it was meant to be set in Ereb Altor, but it did have new mechanics. 7th edition is better known for its setting, Trudvang. It has an English translation. 8th edition looks like it's going back to 3rd edition, and is supposed to have an English translation.

Actually, it seems Trudvang will be a separate game now.
