Are there any good Traveller play-throughs or podcasts that can be found on YouTube and such? I want to see how other players play the game before I run it, I also want to be amused.
Seconding this request, I too am going to be running Traveller in a few days.
Close the Airlock is a decent Mongoose 1e based podcast. A little high on the Star Trek/Star Wars jokes and references for my Traveller nerd tastes.

Also, if you're not listening to Felbrigg Herriott's excellent Behind the Claw podcast, you might want to check it out. It's focused mainly on Classic, though much of it can be used in any edition.

Which traveller edition is best traveller edition?

This is a totally subjective call
I say Classic because I love the feel of it and it was one of my first games
But if I was to run a game for some noobs today, I would use Mongoose for ease of play

Seconding Classic. It's kinda crufty, rules are scattered all over, and there's like three different ship combat systems just in the rule books, but it's got so much cool stuff available, and it's so damn good.
Though if we're being honest, the best edition is probably the Frankenstein edition where a referee stitches all the bits they like from other editions onto the one they were running to make a Traveller rules set that suits them and their table, which is what most referees end up doing sooner or later.
