I'm running a game were the players are refugees in a foreign country. They got played by a local mob boss and are deep debt (In order to get papers that allow them to travel freely through the country). They pay back this debt by working in the adventurers guild.
In the coming sessions, I want introduce a quest giver who a Medusa that makes poisons for the mob boss. The party is primarily NG, so I'm asking for quest ideas that the party would be okay with taking from an evil npc. (The party is lv3)

Bringing her the remains of dead monsters for alchemical purposes. Those purposes happen to be making horrific poisons but they don't need to know that.
Same for rare plants or other things.
Deliver a parcel to this household. Do not open it. Inside is a man's preserved eyeball in a glass phial.

They're not dumb, and one guy is a playing a scholar so he'll be able to make the sufficient knowledge checks. Also doesn't help that the Mob Boss is using the players to build up his good reputation. The introduction would more of them delivering payment to the Medusa, not picking goods. The quests would be on the Medusa's own prerogative.

And maybe her quests are totally innocuous. Like getting groceries for her.

That's too inocuous. How about she claims to be an alchemist but there's a rare monster that's stopping her from peacefully gathering materials. Kill the monster and deliver its poison gla- I mean its head ha ha that's it.
