Requesting artwork of a character I'm playing in a "mercs in Africa" game. Pic related is the gear, only missing the fact that she's wearing a rugged watch, has some sort of ballistic goggles strapped around her helmet, and has various tattoos on her arm (Artist's choice on the design, I haven't thought of one as of yet). Oh, and the fact that it's a woman in her mid-20s, of course.

I can't exactly change the picture while I'm at work, but if one could replace the boots with black leather jungle boots and the gloves with black nomex ones, as the anon so kindly corrected me on last thread, that'd be super great.

I hope this request isn't too /k/ for anyone around here, and massive thanks to anyone who wants to take the request.

Yo, drawpeople. I'm gonna be playing in a while and would love to get a drawing of my character.
He's a doctor gone rogue, or a rogue gone doctor. Used to cut people up for black market organ trade, but has since dropped his shady ways and moved on to being an actual doc. It's a fantasy game and rogues benefit a lot from knowing anatomy.

Either way, his face is in the reference. He's wearing standart adventurey looking leather pants, boots and a white shirt. On top he has a sort of weird fishnet coat that you can see in the reference as well. I'd like the top of the coat to be non-fishnet, more like a leather duster, while the bottom part (from the belt line and down) to be like in the picture (with the most-bottom being full as well).

He's wielding a scalpel.

His sword is made out of chocolate diamond, encrusted with candy, and with a flame enchantment. The thing jutting out of the sword is another blade. The size of the sword is up to you. It should also be decently fancy

Despite his sword, I would prefer the rest of him be sort of plain and utilitarian. Everything he wears that isn't his clothes underneath is loot, so it may be a little battered.

Anchoring for the drawfriend working on this, and answering his questions from last thread in case he didn't see them.

The oversized armor is perfectly fine. I would like the leg armor to stop at her knee for movement purposes, however, rather than going all the way up to her thigh (I'd ideally like to keep at least some small amount of realism despite the fact that she walks around with fucking rocks strapped to her arms and legs).

Aside from that, I have no backstory for her yet, honestly, and I haven't played her long enough to be entirely certain of her personality, but here's what I've got: she's pretty self-confident, to the point where she can get rather stubborn and hard-headed at times. On the other hand, she is usually willing to recognize when she can't do something on her own. She's usually pretty cheerful as well.

As for her weapon, it's a massive glaive made of rocks, except the blade is a jagged parallelogram instead of any of the more common glaive-blade shapes.

Requesting the first kiss of one of my players characters. A young, yet grizzled man with facial burn scars is being kissed by a blind woman with long brown hair in a corridor. They are both inexperienced, and the man is especially awkward and nervous. The whole thing should seem quite sweet.

The woman is pic related, a noble by birth, and the man is an ice mage/swordsman who was appointed to the status of lord of the local county by the king.

Also, around the corner, a small group of soldiers is on patrol. (If they were to turn the corner they would see the lovers)

Hoping to hash out a character for an upcoming campaign: He's a hobby arcanist (mainly in schools of divination) that has spent most of his career as a glorified librarian with a head full of magical theory and no practical application. This is training toward combating discordant wizards and foiling unsanctioned and dangerous arcane experiments as part of ARC (Anarcanist Repression Council). He wears robes, a gauntlet on his off-hand, and a masked helm, and carries an ornate bladed weapon that dangles from straps from his waist.

Here goes!

I'd like to see someone from the thread do their interpretation of an Alpha Legionaire Chaos Space Marine, with their armor being a mix of the Imperial and Chaos design styles with some of the Alpha Legion's own visual cues in there as well.

Basically, a Legionnaire in "modern" 40k Power Armor that looks like it was an updated, non-standard version of older designs, with some of the Chaos decorations (armor edging, arrows) but without mutations or TOO many spikes- at the same time not looking exactly the same as a Loyalist space marine.

Visual style might be a bit like the pic but with a bit more Chaos Marine armor style, especially for the helmet.Some scales and chains might be neat too. If someone wants to use the forge world alpha Legion designs for inspiration, that'd be cool too:

Requesting my teenage Rattataki technician, named Dami.

She has a bald head and chalk white skin with a slender body, as typical of Rattataki. She has some tattoos on her face and arm, as well as a few facial piercings. Her left arm was lost in a storm trooper attack below the shoulder but just above the elbow and has been replaced by a red cybernetic arm. Her clothes and her skin can have a nice film of grease and oil, as she works on engines quite often.

I would like to see her working on her personal servant droid R5-TY, a reprogrammed B1 battle droid. She has painted him over in graffiti like art.

Dami is uncharacteristically wholesome, and sweet for a Rattataki. Think Kaylee from Firefly. She doesn't like fighting but loves working on ships and droids.

Requesting the head of church in my upcoming Dark Heresy campaign.
She's a short, cute-looking woman, who's aged well despite being in her fourties. Mostly, she resembles Dr. Frasier from Stargate SG-1, but with black hair and brown skin.
She wears richly decorated robes in white, with a embrodiered stole in black or red with embroidery mostly in gold. On her head she has a mitre, with the pictured symbol on it. It's the holy symbol of the church, in wrought iron and gold, so it could appear in other places too.

She'll look calm and somewhat motherly, like she's posing for a portrait.

Just requesting if someone could draw the Dark Judges as if they were D&D player characters. In the end you've got to decide the price yourself, because if you take a 50 dollar price for something that took you 10 hours to make, it's kind of a loss for you since you are only taking technically 5 bucks for every hour.

As someone who's paid for things, I'll put in my two cents.

Depending on quality of things, I usually see people do a $10/20/30 gap between sketch/inks/color. However, as a poorfag, seeing prices for sketches in the $40 range (while super nice even for sketches) still makes me balk a bit. $20 Is usually in my strike zone, and if it's done within the week I tend to tip. Especially if it's got multiple characters (I usually tack on at least another 20% or so for speedy delivery or if I just really like the guy's work.).

Paypal is the most common method I've seen. Smart artists will ask for half-now-half-then so they can hedge their bets on whether or not the guy on the other end is trying to fuck them or not.

Requesting the paladin from the delivery in the middle posed in a combination of the two poses on right, with her kneeling on the ground, head leaned over and both hands on a sword lodged in her abdomen. If possible, a broken sword on the ground next to her would also be greatly appreciated. I included the original references on the left to let any artist who would like to pick this up have more room to work. I have the battlemap we used during the session there so that if the artist would decide to do a background, they have a reference for that as well.Thank you to anyone who picks this up.


Backstory on this request:
Two sessions ago, my party's paladin Cethlenn, the one requested in the image, had to "Prove her worth" by fighting with an ancient guardian in order to acquire an epic magic sword. The guardian wielded the sword in the pic and ended up beating her in combat, shattering her sword and stabbing her in the stomach, killing her. The "Sword of Judgement" (the one used to stab her) actually revived her due to the reaction of her comrades, who had been unable to assist her during the duel, but the moment of her falling to the ground was one with much emotional distress by the party and one I'd like to have immortalized in glorious drawthread art.

Requesting my qunari Grey Warden character for a Dragon Age campaign.

He wears plate armor, but no helmet, and his primary weapon is a two-handed hammer/axe hybrid thing.
Armor is made of dragon bone, however a drawfriend wants to portray that, and should have some scratches on it.

Dwayne Johnson's face because why not. Totally bald, no facial hair either, not even eyebrows. A few scars visible, especially some burn scars.

Also, he's recently started displaying some Templar powers, so a blue glowy sheen on/around him would be neat, but optional.

I've got no preference for pose, and everything else should be in the reference pic.

Well I'll try anyway, I'd like it if some awesome fucking artist would please draw me a city map for the city by the river on this map.

It's a moderate sized fantasy city with about 15000 total population, about 4000 of that is transient non residents. The city iteself needs an extensive dock system, as quite a lot of its trade comes from the river.

The bridge over the river is dwarven made a mile long and 120ft wide, made of volcanic rock, ffor the wall I'm thinking 20ft thick or so.

The city roads I'd like to be mostly grid like, and somewhat wide, some curvature particularly along the walls, which should be a half circle is fine.

I'm not very good at drawing, and haven't been able to find any mapping tools that have what I'd need.

Try to have towers every so often along the walls, and at the gate two round towers overlooking the arch of the gate think Baldurs Gate for the side the city proper is on, and on the opposite side of the bridge a wall the same thickness with the gate towers round wall starting from each side of the bridge and has a guardhouse/barracks for checking who's coming in and out and with what. If anyone want to help thanks if not, no big deal. :)

Could I request a scene where an alchemist is working on constructing a soulbound doll.

The alchemist looks like the man in ref but very haggard with noticeable facial stubble, bags under his eyes and anything else to make it look like he just keeps going while he's awake until his body just shuts down.

He is currently creating a life sized doll, that looks similar in design to the one in ref, of his deceased daughter. The doll is mostly done, an arm is still unattached but near by, and he is currently trying to perfect the look of the head piece. The dolls body should have a simple dress on but with enough of the chest area open to reveal a hollow cutout shaped like a heart, for which is a ruby shaped heart under a glass dome to keep it safe.

Finally on a table nearby is a picture of the two before his daughter died.

It gets easier the more you practice. Also, invest in French curves and use more layers for your lineart. You'll VERY quickly start improving. Also personally I do lineart on paper and then scan it in and render on the tablet because I hate dealing with line fuckups.

Also /ic/ is really not where you go to git gud unless you think depression and bitterness equals gud.

When I first stated with digital, it was really weird, so I had trouble with fundies that I had worked out well on paper. After a while you get used to it, especially if you switch to digital exclusively. A tip for big linework pieces, do your chicken scratch drawing and then make a layer over it and focus on super clean and clear linework in that layer. It gets easier over time though. (Also, /ic/ is a dickhead board, but /tg/ drawthreads can be a hugbox sometimes)

You just have to get use to it and practice a lot. Honestly, I just cant get my hand-eye coordination straight unless I'm drawing on the surface I'm looking at. So I bought a used Cintiq 12wx. Should be cheaper now since it's a pretty old model. Also now there is plenty of market competition doing it for less than wacom amd with larger/better screen than my 12wx. Should you feel the need to upgrade, look into a tablet with a pressure sensitive screen (or even stick with paper/pencil just get a decent scanner).

Also keep in mind that it's just a tool and even that might require practice. A better device doesnt mean you yourself will be better.

Hey, artfriends of /tg/, I've a fairly simple request.

I would like art of my tiefling fighter/cleric done. No coloring necessary and reference included. Upper left is what he generally looks like, but without the barbs on his chin.

To the right is the armor style I'd like him to be wearing, but with the hood down and a horse-head on the belt buckle rather than that rose.

He's now armed with a mace, so it was lucky I found a reference with a weapon. But rather than a regular studded round head, I'd like the head of the mace to be like the helmet (barbuta, I think it's called?) on the bottom of the headshot. It's supposed to be the helmed head of his new goddess, the Red Knight.

I'd like his pose to be relaxed and at ease.

Can I get art of an example of an order of knights for my homebrew game?

The order are the Wolfknights, a whole military company more or less devoted to the personal service of their queen. Typically they wear a cuirassier's breastplate, an opened bright crimson napoleonic style military coat, a blue sash, and armet helmet. They had a tradition of carrying two swords, one longsword and one shortsword, in honor of the classical fighting style of their queen's house, though few among their number chose to fight in such a way, and many more preferred to fight with partisan spears and/or with a brace of wheel-lock pistols.

If I may, I'd like to request the large humanoid robot stepping out of a massive burning ash cloud in a burned landscape, with three small human silhouettes standing on a green grassy bluff in the foreground.

From the body of the robot, large bolts of red lightning arc through the burning cloud.

Using my amazing MS paint skills, I tried to throw together how the setup might look, along with some notes as to the poses of the silhouettes, though they could just be three standing there if it's hard to get the poses across.

If it should help, I imagine the burning cloud to be something similar to the one in the video from around 00:55 and 1:00

I have much apologies for the lack of progress and updates this week. It has been quite hectic but won't get into any details since not my blog and all that.

Also I wish to say you are killing me with the request she be wearing boots with that style of legs. Not fun to try and design, not fun at all. Not even the furry community seems to have many if any samples of full covering digitgrade boots, granted I only looked on Boorus with safe search parameters on but still.

/r/ing a female Deadmau5-ripoff bard for a campaign I'm joining. She's got the helmet, naturally. I'd prefer it basically the same as the top right in some form of darkened metal, but with a metal grill like the middle bottom for the mouth and eyes. The ears are like the top left but with the phonographs in the middle replacing the speakers.

She's dressed in the mixture of armour you see around the bottom half of the pic, with the cape/hood thing around her neck on top of it.

In terms of pose, anything you feel is natural-looking. I realize I'm overspeccing on other details, so I'll leave that up to a drawfag's fancy for however they want to make it work.

If I might offer a suggestion the head and particulary the neck are too small.

Thights are too big, lower leg too long. You are talented but have some anatomy issues.

Oh definitely, thank you. I am definitely trying to work on my anatomy, it's way more apparent when I don't work from a reference like in this one. I'll try adjusting the head, but is the lower leg too long? Keep in mind that the boots are intentionally way oversized - trying to interpret the 7 league boots or whatever the ref was

First time request I guess.

I have a Kanye West inspired Ratfolk Bard that I play in a friend's Pathfinder campaign.
His name is Ronye Pest and his instrument is (of course) his voice. While the original quest of the campaign was to retrieve an artifact from an enemy kingdom, Ronye wasn't planned to be one of the party. It just so happens that he was scheduled to perform for the king that day and, being interested in broadening his horizons, sort of forced himself in, taking a leadership role of sorts. He makes sure to check every NPC he encounters to see if they know who he is.

He's typically wielding either a rapier of Outsider Bane or a composite shortbow that he found (it can be used to cast cloudkill 3 times a day).
He's primarily a buffbot but has a number of wands at his disposal as well. Fairly decked out in magical stat boosters at this point, but my favorite flavor item of his is the Sleeves of Many Garments which allow him to look his best in any given situation. Usually I put on a pair of shutter shades while performing, as a reminder to the other players of the bonuses.

I'm not looking for anything specific and would be grateful for anything really. I think it would be pretty cool if anyone at all gives this a shot.

I suppose one bonus detail is that the DM has allowed me to have a gimmick mechanic. Scattered around battlefields are marked areas that only Ronye can see, referred to as "The Zone". Entering these squares has a few benefits such as increase to spell DCs and bonus round performance. I basically made the character around the idea of "don't let him in to his zone".

Requesting a Sith warrior.

He was one rather good looking but after a fight with a Jedi master he lost his right arm and part of his right face was mutilated. Rather than have his face repaired or covered up he wears his scar proudly as a reminder of his hatred towards the Jedi. His skin tone is slightly tanned, his eyes are mixed, the left one is normal and green colored, but his right is black with red iris, and his hair is bleached white.

He was originally right handed but the new robotic arm isn't fast enough to keep up with his flurried movements so now he has to fight left handed.

On his belt is a few broken lightsabers that he has taken from Jedi that he has personally managed to kill.

So im looking for a drawing of a squat prince (the warhammer 40k equivalent of dorfs) So things include some kind of very ornate circlet (forgot to add it to the collage but i dont think its that necessery) a relatively young face (he's only 150 and they live to 500) although scarrings and all that is free range considering he fled the tyranid attack instead of staying there to fight.

For the clothes i coulnt find much but any kind of warhammer 40k-type armour would be fine as long as it looks dwarven (mastercraft, runes, etc)

For the weapons pictured he has a power-hammer-shotgun, a squat-made Boltrevolver (something like the gun in the left down corner but with a revolving chamber and the size of the gun above it), and a "squat recycles" wich is a blunderbuss made to be filled with anything and then uses powerweapon technology to fire it.

I would like some kind of cheery look for him since he is also mainly a diplomatic kind of character.
