I'm a tall, imposing humanoid figure, sheathed head-to-toe in black carapace armour. While my minions are doing all the actual work of robbing whatever place evil corps is interested in, I stand outside and make grandiose speeches to the heroes. When they attack I fight to slow them down/cause superficial injuries (I don't actually wanna hurt them, after all, they're just a bunch of teenaged girls/minimum wage community workers). When my minions are finished looting the place I pretend to go down, make a dumb one-liner about how I'll get them next time and then hoof it.

I fight seriously against monsters from other evil corporations. No speeches, no retreat, just violent pummeling until they're incapacitated/dead.

Funny anecdote: The rangers don't like the girls (because they're illegal vigilantes and they actually have superpowers) and the girls don't like the rangers (cuz they're stuffy bureaucrats with better PR managers than the girls). The first time they both showed up to fight me we had this whole awkward situation where they got angry at me cuz they thought I'd been their exclusive arch-nemesis. Then they started arguing with each other and ignoring me, so I just slipped out a side-door with the minions. I later heard they'd ended up having a serious fight with each other. Then the NEXT time I tried to rob a place they teamed up and ambushed me. It was one of the few times the minions had to leave early because the heroes captured me sooner than expected. Then they made the corniest speech about teamwork imaginable. It was so dumb. I waited until they handed me over to beat cops then shredded my restraints like wet paper.

Oh, yeah, forgot about the band of mooks. They're my wingmen and spotters, instructed to keep lookout at spots with great visibility. As far as how I'm going to defeat my enemies, it's all about crazy-fast attack. When I'm first given my target, I don't immediately set out for them. I bide my time producing a swarm of drones, letting my mooks keep tabs on my target. When they're least prepared I strike, coming out of nowhere with final-boss levels of speed and completely overwhelming firepower, essentially being an airstrike. If the initial strike doesn't destroy them, it'll at least leave them disoriented enough for the swarm of drones following shortly after to eviscerate them in a hail of bio-projectiles. If THEY can't take them out, I come around for another strafing run. In the case of the Magical Girls and Dark Hero, who can fly, it'll turn into high-speed dogfighting. Whenever it becomes clear I've lost my advantage, I take off and leave them in the dust to coordinate another attack.

Stats aren't the best, but being an ambush predator with Venom makes it not as necessary. I have to be careful about the eating people part, as well as the Budget Rangers, but it won't be too difficult to act the part of police chief or town mayor.

Really, for body text, you want it to be as readable as possible, and you can't get better than a standard font. It's not like all of 4chan is in papyrus.

I don't think you need the stroke on the text with the text backgrounds--you really only need that for the text over the spacey background. You can have them there for stylistic purposes, though.

Deep in the woods there is a strange metal device, one that can only be found by those who have lost their way - both physically and metaphorically. Those who interact with it are brought to a different place, a small town of dilapidated technology and constant rain in the wilderness. It is always dark due to the clouds, creatures making their way by lightbulb rather than sunlight. There are no people inside this place, only calm woodland creatures and the tiny machine that tries its hardest to stay out of your way as it goes along with its tasks. Attempts to leave are confounded, as there is no discernible exit. Those who make their way inside are left to wander until they sit by the edge of the town's lake and ponder. It is at that moment that they meet the only other thinking denizen of the place: a rusty, battered old orangish-brown robot carrying an umbrella. It will sit down next to its visitor, protecting them from the rain and enjoying their company. Eventually, it will speak, talking in a filtered, static voice. It will ask them why they came here, their troubles and what is wrong. Whether it needs to offer sage advice or just a shoulder to cry on, it will do what it can to comfort its guest. When it has done its job, it will hand the visitor a device much like the one used to enter that place and leave them sitting on the edge of the lake.

Incidentally, I had an idea for Benevolence. When I posted my build, I made some joke about slipping an I in there so it would work better, because it's the one I'd have the least synergy with, but then I noticed something looking back over the abilities. If I pop Innocence before going to sleep, I should heal up most of the damage overnight and still build up a usable stockpile of energy even though I don't have much affinity for the Well normally. It'd be even better if I could team up with a Romance girl with Life 2, though. It'd be a real shame if I couldn't build a charge off hurting people when I already took the combat missions, but presumably magic can heal what's already ailing me, so it's not like this would be too big a step down. Unless I get attacked in my sleep, I suppose.

Any change of getting a larger selection of vows?. Right now there are only 16 spirit points available total, 2 of which are in one option (that I'm fairly sure basically no one will take). So if you want, say, a complex avatar, not only do you need to take 8 vows, but you need to take just over half of all the available vows.

Maybe you'd like to carry a token of mine, something to gain a little of the insights and influences I have here wherever you go. It'll do me no good if something untoward were to happen to you while you're away.

You just need to stay in shape. Even at Affection 1, you can still get away with junk food so long as you're mostly eating okay and exercising.

That might be hard depending on your eating habits, though. A nutritionist would definitely help. If you're clever you can use the spirits you get from more troublesome Terms to give your waifu hobbies and traits that will help you keep up with them. A /fit/ waifu would help with Vow of Health, for instance.

I recommend lowering requirements. Take a look at Surreal Avatar, it requires 12 out of 15 vows and considering will opt out Vow of Friendship, it's 12 out of 14, so everything but two. I think it's a little absurd, at this point it becomes Ascetism CYOA but that's acceptable, the real problem comes when the vows conflicts between themselves. You can't have Vow of Frugality or Vow of Wealth at the same time so you have to opt one out, only one more vow to go. If you picked Frugality, Vow of Stability is also incompatible so you're done. Vow of Wealth is kinda incompatible with Vow of Disconnect, you can't make big money while disconnected from the world.

Not everyone wants to be a slave to some gods, especially if you just wanted the ability to shoot a laser at people. I personally see no problem as is but I agree with you Light instead of Divine would have allowed more freedom.
In the other hand, Light instead of Divine would have made it quite limited, you wouldn't have spells like Consecrate, Halo, Healing and Chain. Having both wouldn't look good, they're too similar, like having Fire school and Plasma school or something.

There, instead of a waifu I have a fairly agreeable familiar/assistant with magical powers. I'd take the otherworldly soul for her to look the part, but it's just cosmetic and I'm going for function here, so full stacking magic seems like the best bet.

Kinda undecided on categories of spells since I'm not really sure what the boundaries are, but mainly comfy/convenience things. Housecleaning spells, for example. Teleportation or portals or some sort of easy travel method. Healing would be handy(Not to bring /pol/ in here, but my healhcare's getting repealed at the moment, so if I can't see a doctor, having a white mage on retainer would be a solid alternative). Maybe shape-shifting stuff for fun if that's not a game-break.

Art hobby because I make games and having an art-bot to make some assets for me would REALLY cut my costs.

Basically a personal helper to get rid of a lot of life's little inconveniences so I can get shit done. Throwing in some extra points to make her hot and keep the ability to fuck her would be nice, but on the other hand, it's overall way better to keep an easy contract, have an amazingly useful personal assistant, and just pursue a normal human relationship.
