...maybe you should have a bit more of a think on this and look up this sword more.

>>51232070
Purely skill.
>>
>>51232148
Ah, so learning boosters + that perk that lets you auto train from Master of Magic or whatever + 66 Million would work?
>>
>>51232141
Can/do you still undergo magical girl transformations if you give up your soul gem?
>>
>>51232163
Maybe. I dunno what half the things you mention are. It's just skill training so if you can train a skill in those, I guess you could.
>>
>>51232169
If you mean 'opting out' in-jump, then no. You're gonna have to get a costume a different way. If you mean getting rid of the Soul Gem post-jump after having one, then yes.

If you get rid of it post-jump, does the below clause now apply to you?

>will have a slightly higher energy requirement (in the form of either your stamina or a magical ‘energy pool’ you already possessed) to compensate for the lack of a Soul Gem.

Fuck jumps that leave you with 50cp left with shit perks/items.

Seriously, not cool.
>>
>>51232304
Magical energy drains either from your stamina or (if available) a different magical pool of energy you have access to once you don't have/need a Soul Gem anymore. Make sense?

Golden Grace.
>>
>>51232197
Post-jump, how do you activate the transformation without a Soulgem? Is it basically just always on, something you will to occur?
>>
>>51232194
Would you be able to use the First Magic to create a universe by the time the Stelliferous Era ends (100 trillion years)? If not, how many and which learning boosters and/or time dialation abilties/items would you need to be able to do so in that time?

Look under the OC companions. Should be called 'Don't Forget.'

Maybe later. You could totally just use Vanity's Reward to get outfits based off of other Megucas, though.
>>
>>51232344
No, it'd take a lot longer then that to create an entire universe, given the mooncell example was trillions of years. It'd take a basically arbitrary amount of time, many times longer then the mooncell example.

Not really my job to find perks from other jumps for you.
>>
>>51232349
How fast is it? Will you be screwed if you're ambushed? Is the transformation itself draining?

Pretty quick - transformation sequences don't linger for long in Madokaland. Depends on the situation. No, not really.

Wouldn't they disappear once you used Vanity's Reward again though? Or would you be able to take your current outfit off and use Vanity's Reward to get a different outfit without making the one you took off disappear?
>>
>>51232373
I don't know much about madoka, so assuming it still runs on soul gems and grief seeds, would Minecrafts EE or Cheat Mode or Kid Radd's Pixilator be able to copy them?

Do you have to transform to use magic post-jump?

If you didn't keep your Soul Gem, no. If you kept it, yes. That obviously only applies to magic from the jump itself, though.
>>51232414
I...you read the jump, right? Grief Seeds have stopped being relevant. It's mostly the weird red stuff Wraiths leave behind now. And I don't rule on other jumps. You could stockpile it, but the return-energy spent ratio is a bit different compared to Witches, so you'd need to collect a tiny bit more. Not by much, though.
>>51232407
You can switch between outfits using Vanity's Reward. Don't really see why not.
>>
>>51232349
Eh, wouldn't it make more sense to be an always-thing? Isn't the whole transformation just allowing the magic of the Soulgem to course through your body? And since it's innate at that point...

So this Jump opens up on an awkward note that is going to define the entire decade.

"I am Servant of the Bow, Demon Archer I ask of you," I got up from my bow and took in the staring face of my 'Master', "ohshitZouken!" The sound of a matchlock rifle rang out and I growled as the young man fell backwards, shot in the hip when I was sure that I'd followed the correct instinct for a automatic head-shot. I glanced down at myself. "ThefuckI'mtiny!"

Are there any perks, other than just regen perks, that will let me smoke without harming my lungs? Gotta have those Salts.
>>

I've heard that using those will eventually turn you into a splicer, albeit not as quickly as plasmids.
>>
>>51232660
Magical Girl Noir has a perk for that.
I mostly use it for aesthetics and maki ng people think I'm drunk
>>
I need help. I'm the one who is doing the Mob Psycho 100 jump, which includes a capstone booster, and for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to boost this perk:
Urban legend (600, discount spirit)
Ah. This is interesting indeed. You cannot be harmed by anyone that fears your reputation. Attacks, whether physical or mental, don't harm you in the least. Note that they have to fear your reputation, not you, for this to work, though if they stop fearing your reputation after seeing what a wimp you are, you'll be harmed.
>>
>>51232723
....no.
>>
>>51232723
That's...a bit too broken anon.
>>
>>51232723
Well, first off someone probably going to yell at you for that being OP.

Second, damage reflection?
>>
>>51232723
Maybe make it so you can't be harmed by anyone who has any sort of (negative) feelings about you?
>>
>>51232677
Technically having any Adam based stuff makes you a splicer. That said Vigors are of much higher quality compared to plasmids, since you don't need to constantly shoot up with ADAM using Vigors should render the dangers minimal.

>>51232723
That perk is one massive nope, as in do not include that perk in it's current form.
>>
>>51232723

How about what it is now being the boosted, and having it just be some massive reputation booster? Invincibility may be OP, but 'to scared to attack you' isnt.
>>
>>51232782
Then he just has to nerf it when he posts the jump.
>>
>>51232785
>What it is now as the boost
No, that's still insane. Especially if the base effect is giving you that reputation you need automatically.
>>
>>51232375
Can I use the Item Creation Skill to compose Music that generates some kind of magical effect when played? Can it be used to compose Poetry, and other similarly immaterial forms of art?
>>
>>51232810
Doubtful. But SCP has Anartist, which is pretty much exactly what you're looking for.
>>
>>51232765
A reputation booster where the capstone boost effect buffs you and nerfs them whenever you face anyone who is afraid of you? Have the buff/nerf scale with how much they fear you?

Wouldn't the high end for Spirits be something like Kami Dimple?
>>
>>51232810
Not directly. I guess you could make magical instruments or books but the music or words themselves won't be magical. It's meant for making material objects, not immaterial art. That's better represented by either skills like magic systems or things like Alluring Nightingale or protection of the music god.
>>
Do we have anything that would allow me to "partition" my energy pools? Basically something so I can set aside a specific amount that will never be used for anything but a specific effect?

>>
All right, is this less OP?
Congratulations! You are now immune to damage by anyone that fears you. No, I'm just kidding. That'd be stupid, and anyone that came up with that perk would be stupid. Instead, anyone that fears you enough to want to run away does about half as much damage to you as they normally would. Potentially double the amount of hits you can take!

And the booster is being affected by amount of fear.

I just want you to like me.

For the normal person drawback, can it be alleviated slightly by going to the original PMMM and letting someone know that I'm a jumper?
>>
>>51232932
Cut the beginning and it is fine.

Though if I might suggest instead having reducing the damage you take from any source that fears you based on how much they fear you. With the capstone boost strengthening the effect and making those who fear you take more damage from your attacks.
>>
>>51232932

Cool beans Psycho Helmet Anon.

I suggest a wording kinda like this for the perk in question:
Those who fear you deal less damage, in proportion to how much they fear you. A person who lives in abject fear of your very name would deal minimal damage whilst even those who are only intimidated by you in person would find their blows faltering.

Just a suggestion for you.

>Your Servant requires a much greater amount of upkeep then normal, both for maintaining their existence and using their abilities, roughly around twice their usual level. This cannot be taken by those with Independent Action or anyone who naturally regenerates magical energy.

Does this mean if you are a Servant with replenishing mana from another jump you can't take this, or that you normally can since out of jump mana presumably can't maintain a Servant but if you take one of the in jump options like Living Servant which lets you regen mana you cannot take it?

>>51234304
Well comics Raven is known for rape, and her fondness of it. Also the Teen Titan comics are just all around horrible. In general though Raven in the comics is the depressive half demon that just wants to be normal played straight, except for the part where she's just like her dad, and is by nature, so evil that being evil bores her. She's also sort of being used by the forces of good as a weapon against her father, that's basically why she's on the side of good, the forces of good raised/brainwashed her, and being evil is boring.

You can always take it, since it doubles all mana costs. If you've got your own regenning mana, you can still take it, it just makes all your abilities cost twice as much instead of that and needing twice as much upkeep.

>>51234351
Probably possible, though I'd imagine it'd be more speeding up crafting in general then specifically NPs.
TC? No, but it'd make it a lot less costly to make magic items.
RM? Depends on what the RM is.
Run all at once? Well, I doubt you could get both a Territory and an RM fully active at once, since the RM would take you to its arena summon if fully active, but otherwise I don't see why it couldn't work together.

No worries, happy to help.

Well, I think I'll just take a pass on the RM, since that's the one I'm most leery of. Muh sanity, etc.

So what would an A Rank NP focused on speeding up crafting do? Double?
Hmmm, how would it manifest? I'm thinking cool-ass looking gloves, but I dunno.

Val, I have a question about EX and discounts. So, let's say I bought two EXs, and I have a discount on both. Would one be 175, and the other 275 (due to another 100 being added) or would the other be 450?
>>
>>51234617
Mm, bit hard since there's no canon. I'd say if you were wanting it to work on any crafting, even something where you're just one of many workers, double at A rank is fine. If it's just on what you're personally making on your own, I'd say triple or even 3.5 is okay for A rank, again with no limits on what it is your crafting, just that it is being made by your own hand.

Gloves of some sort were my thoughts too.

>>51234626
If you mean "Can I make something to carve out a bit of my mind and keep it separate from the rest but still accessable" then sure I'd imagine you could make something like that within the limits of what IC EX can make, but that's the sort of thing you're looking at, since it's already part of you, mind and soul, unlike the arm situation.

>>51234641
You still get discounts, even if you're buying EX rank on both. The surcharge is the only thing that is undiscounted, the rest of it gets discounts as normal.

Sorry, I went to go have dinner.

Well, there's the ridiculous combo from marvel. Getting a dragon core in either one of the fate jumps or king Arthur nasuverse version. FFTA had a ridiculously strong one (zero to full in a little under a minute. Wtf), though it requires you to not cast anything, think. The Gamer has one IIRC. Terraria I think also has a ridiculously good one (100% regen in like 2.5 min, I think? And you don't have to stop casting either, IIRC). Anima quadruples your mana recovery. Those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head for now, but I'm likely missing a bunch. Personally I just take the FFTA, Terraria and Anima ones. Assuming they stack, that means you're regening 100% of your mana in 15 seconds if you aren't casting and 36(i think) seconds if you are. Combine that with leaky limiter from mushoku tensei for enormous mana reserves and stuff from Iji (50% less cost to everything, including mana), overlord (50% cost reduction for magic, 50% more for summoning magic) and chrono trigger (75% reduction, I think) and you never have to worry about mana again. Honorable mention goes to familiar of zero that lets you bully nature spirits into supplying a large portion of spell costs and magi that lets you use the mana that was recently spent in a spell to cast another spell.
And of course there's the first, second, third and fifth magics from nasuverse that pretty much let you set your mana regen to "YES" at high enough levels. Though irresponsible use of the fifth will end with you accidentally the universe.

A reasonable trade-off. Suppress those things that make you how you are and the Reality Marble won't open up but 'open the valve' so to speak and it becomes accessible at the cost of the distortion taking effect again?

I've been here before. Through the power of the pod, I co-authored this world with Madoka-well, more like gave advice and support while she did the heavy lifting. Been hunting endless armies of wraiths with Homura since the early days.

I also set up an anonymous imageboard for magical girls to coordinate/seek advice from/blow off steam by shitposting at each other a while ago. Good ol' Meguchan, cunningly disguised as an actual anime enthusiast forum from normies through the power of memes.

Like many idealistic people I've mentored over the years, to the main cast I'm basically like the older brother everyone looks up to, but who ended up dropping out of school and doing crimes. I've had THAT conversation with Madoka a long time ago.

The reunion was largely sweet, with only a hint of bitter. There was much uproar about my new, new lease on life-especially from Homura, who'd blown up at me ages ago for going down the same dark path I'd warned her off. Madoka did that thing with the puppy dog eyes only Elodie, my sister and my daughter can stick on me with any regularity, gave me a hug and told me to never to do anything like that again. I was honest, and simply affirmed I'm trying but I could make no promises.

The Kyuubey collective was much calmer. We just kept comparing notes. But the DCverse shocked it so badly its' avatars suddenly stopped reacting for a whole hour while it tried to process the implications.

And then we all had tea and crumpets.

So here's the funny thing I've learned about corruption. The psychological lynchins? They work both ways. Sure, a mob mentality can be whipped into a child cannibal buffet-but it can just as quickly turn into a charity footrace.

I mean, just look at Ebon Dragon Charms. There's nothing stopping you from using them to erase psychologically crippling traumas, make people overcome their favorable bias to abusive spouses and motivate them to change their evil ways. Heck, look at the first excellency. Opposing social darwinism and bureaucratic corruption are ALWAYS valid uses for it.

The point being-the usual web of political intrigue and favors within the ranks of scum can just as surely be a tool for redemption as for emotional deconstruction. Especially the Empress, when I've got new souls to hand out for days.

Anyway, nothing brings about social cohesion like a war on terror. The survivors will be spared and reintegrated, the heretical faiths will be edited into the party line and the diehards-well, that's what the Pyrian reeducation spheres are for.

They don't actually brainwash people, by the way. Now She's regained her empathy again, they literally just gain understanding of what it feels like to be a casualty in an ideology war, and the frequent futility of revolutions.

And while I'm spreading my Essence throughout this world, I'm not in a mood to share. So the Dark Powers can either make a bargain, or get ready for a hostile takeover.

A lot of people have difficulty wrapping their head around being able to create literally anything with enough time and practice. As humans they try to understand the First Magic by imposing arbitrary rules onto it when it's literally a power which has no rules and follows no real logic.

Ironically this is one of the biggest issues that actual Magi in the Nasuverse have when it comes to learning True Magic from Magicians. They keep trying to apply logic to a power that doesn't care at all about any of their "rules."
>>
>>51236388
Well there is a logic to it: everything that can exist exists.
>>
>>51236299
I cant seem to read it., Can you spoiler it for me?
>>
>>51236402
That's actually the theory of how the First Magic works, not the proven logic of how it works. It was simply the best description that the original user of the First Magic could offer on how it works; that nonexistence is fake and everything is real. You're using the First Magic to deny nonexistence and cause things to pop into existence. But the very concept is so absurd and flies in the face of all understanding of how the universe works that it makes no sense no matter how many genius Magi try to wrap their minds around it.
>>
>>51231707
2.6 with that made clearer. And with this I'm away for a couple of days.
>>
>>51236422
Seems simple enough to me. "Make anything" with enough practice. It's like the power of a creator god but on a local scale.
>>
>>51236422
So could the First Magic create the concept of death for beings for which death just isn't a thing?
>>
>>51236416
Forgive me if I fuck these spoilers up.

At the beginning
Eh? Bending the rules rules? Jumper? What are you talking about? How did you..

Oh! Hello, there! I’m surprised you can hear me. My name is Madoka. I don’t really... well, most people can’t really see or hear me anymore. But that’s okay, what I do is really important now! It’s nice to meet you,

It’s okay. If you fall, I’ll catch you...though I think your friend will do it before I can. Don’t worry. you’ll do just fine out there, I promise

Whatever you end up wishing for, don’t use it on something you’ll end up regretting, okay? It should be something you want with all your heart.

And at the very end
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. Good luck, Jumper

Although if you can't get it to show up. Highlighting it and clicking off the screen should make it visible.
>>
>>51236440
Yes, it does. It makes perfect sense when you stop trying to analyze or measure and simply accept that it can create anything with enough time and effort. But humans, by their very nature, try to understand things by examining them and applying laws and rules based upon their observations. It's simply human nature. Thus for a normal human the First Magic is completely nonsensical.

>>51236451
The First Magic can create anything. This isn't even limited to just objects, it includes things like events and concepts. So yes, it probably could do that.

You'd have to talk to Val for details but I'm almost certain it could do something like that. It obviously wouldn't be able to t destroy concepts like the Fourth apparently can, but it could create and enforce new ones.
>>
>>51236495
wait so why would anyone take any other magic?
>>
>>51236530
Shit's haaaaaaard. And thousands of dedicated years is too much for most people.
>>
>>51236530
The other True Magics are much simpler and faster to learn. They're all completely broken in assorted ways; the Second Magic can access thousands of different universes at once, can do insane things like summon thousands of alternate versions of yourself or allow you to acquire completely new powers, summon objects from other realities, and all kinds of other stuff. The Third Magic allows you to materialize and manipulate the soul and who the hell knows what it could do at very high levels. At very high levels I'd imagine that you could do things like go Third Impact on whole planets. The Fourth Magic allows you to destroy everything that the First can create, including aforementioned events and concepts. This is more than just destroying things, you could do things like completely undo the damage from a disaster or attack by snapping your fingers and destroying the event that caused it. The Fifth Magic is literal time travel and time manipulation taken to its logical extreme with all the bullshit that comes with that.

The First is the most versatile but also the hardest to learn by far. All of them specialize in different things and at high ends they're all ridiculously broken bullshit.
>>
>>51236530
It is by far the hardest one to master and the others are similarly bullshit, for example the ability to destroy anything on a conceptual level or that one option from the Worm CYOA.
>>
>>51236530
Because sometimes you just want to shunt an entire country into another dimension. Or time travel. Or destroy something without spending trillions of years doing nothing but training how to induce the concept of not existing anymore into something. Or whatever the Third does.

>>51236530
Some people seem to forget that the jump was not made on the assumption that you've got eleventy bajillion learning boosters. It's made on the assumption this is your first jump. So using the First to do even the basic to mid level shit of any other Magic would take you tens or hundreds of thousands of years, far more if you wanted to get into the top tier stuff. The sort of timeframe where even a magus has long since turned to dust and the planet probably died and it turned into Notes or aliens attacked or something.

And of course, in the time it takes for anyone to do all those years of constant learning, you could have almost certainly found another way to make whatever it is you are after in a mere fraction of the time.

>>51236451

ActRaiser has some fairly decent purification abilities, a Herald from SMT can radiate miles of cleansing light with the Almighty property (i.e. it penetrates supernatural defences) and the Glory Everlasting spell from Age of Ice would probably do it considering it kills all demons on the map.

>>51236422
I gotta wonder how it holds up in settings where things that don't necessarily exist in the conventional sense can still affect the part of the setting that exists. I recall Mardukth said the Artful Temple would let you get around that to an extent, though.

>>51236781
Hi Val, I was >>51231705; the other EX NP I was talking about was the UbirdW we hashed out a few threads ago as (one of) Elodie's Noble Phantasm(s).

I think we settled on it around the conversation starting from...here: http://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/51084723/#51088841

The second NP was the barrier one I think I talked to you about earlier in thread; I haven't fully fleshed out the details it will probably end up being another glorified fancy light show anyway but conceptually it's a lot less complex than the first: It provides an EX-level defence, comparable in strength to Avalon, solely to the Servant.

Anyway, my idea would be that when the first EX NP is broken in a manner that supplements the second EX NP, it changes function by losing the defensive value but instead creating a grand workshop-temple. In this state, the first NP would be similarly depleted as if it had used its' fully charged attack and the second NP would lose its' function of defense to produce the new phenomena.

The aesthetics and exact armaments would vary, but I'm thinking of Semiramis' hanging gardens; it would be conceptually very similar to the first EX NP I thought up for Elodie's Servant build. Like it, being a genuine article crystalised from not one but two of her legends, I'd assume it'd give some more abstract conceptual advantage too.

Would this be feasible?

Madoka 2
The new comedy from Gen Urobuchi.
One of them's a broken little girl who went through hell for the one she loved only to be separated from her by the cruel hands of fate. The others some rando on the internet who liked anime more then is healthy.
Together they try to protect the smile of the one person who doesn't know how the last show ended. Because meguca shouldn't cry.

Watch as they cry over the corpses of their allies, see the only thing keeping their spirits together being the promise that they will have another wish, and have fun for the whole family as they struggle against the seeming inevitability of death in this decade long slog of misery and despair.

Starring
Homura as Depressed Warrior Carrying the Memories of Her Endless Failures
Hameru as Someone Repeating the Mistakes of Homura Even Though They Should Know Better
Not Madoka as Someone Who Really Needs a Fucking Hug by the End

No, those are entirely different effects from what the others are doing, so it's not going to be feasible to have it as a third add on. If the first thing was actually related to crafting in some way it might be okay but that UBW knockoff had a very set ability, summoning a certain sort of sword, not creating new ones or a large variation like the original UBW. I'm not even sure how you're breaking it given it's an ability, not an item or something with a charge.

My original answer was thinking that this would be a third use relating to the former two and that the crafting NP you referred to was some sort of crafting forge, not an ability as that UBW is, not an entirely separate EX level Noble Phantasm. That's something you'll need to buy separately.

Ah, understood thanks. Consider the idea nixed for now. Slight clarification though: When I said I wanted to differentiate it from Avalon, it was because it ended up reminding me a lot of it. It would be a smallish artifact that can be implanted in someone to do its' thing. Elodie's Lumen crystal, to be specific.

Hmm, not sure if I'll go with a third thing at all. All the answers to (absolute defence NP)+(barrage familiar NP that can output a massive attack) seem silly to me at the moment.

Dresden Files, and Exalted: Infernals although they're basiaclly henchminions. I'd say Magi and Mage: The Awakening potentially, since they're either genies or like genies. Which aren't tortured just by existing in an Earthlike universe, like the Bartimaeus ones.

Also it depends on the setting but they generally assist with magic or share in your powers for misc. assistance.

>>51237522
I have no strong opinion about the slut thing, although what little I remember was very disappointed by how little of her character there was compared to show!Starfire. I mean, IIRC she got imprisoned and tortured for a while. There's being tough enough to overcome that shit, and then there's it not even registering on your plans for the future.

Show!Starfire actually seemed like a person rather than a vague caricature of fanserviced redheads. I don't even remember enough about comic!Starfire to cite reasons to hate her beyond not being interesting enough to remember.

>>51237590
I did! I became a Page of Void in Sburb. I use it along with Salt's Blessing and Virtue powers to integrate concepts I like into myself.

And I took A+++ Mystic Eyes of Nothingness in Fate/Extra, although nasu!Nothingness isn't normal nothingness. It's demons. The Eyes of Imaginary Numbers are closer.

Later I picked Oramus Charms, perks and the Artful Temple to be what I am not. Among other things, my Exaltation forge is bounded by several Horcrux-like pseudo-Poles I built by dipping bits of my soul into the Shinma.

Also, like >>51237659 I'm a Nobody. A very, very bright Nobody.

Not him, but I'd argue an abnormality is no different from a minus, considering you are only considered a minus if your abnormality warps your psyche too hard negatively.

Emukae had a power which was essentially entropy, and it fucked her up, making her a minus, but she was able to not be crazy by the end of the story through friendship, and essentially became just an "abnormal".

It all depends very much on both the person and the animal, doesn't it?
My Jumper is a Runner, so he already talks to one of the animals he eats: people. Not like being able to carry on a conversation with a chicken is gonna put him off his meal, though he could probably do better.
He's willingly to devour people he thinks are evil, so he doesn't really have any reservations on eating things that aren't even really sapient.

On a side note >>51240896 has a point. It'd just be really annoying.

Warehouse (150) - So, I get another extra-dimensional storage place? And this one is bigger than the fucking Gate!

>G: Bah. The Gate is far better. Unlike this pale imitation, it is capable of storing living beings, it does not require a key nor a door, you can summon anything inside to your hand at will -

Ok, ok, whatever!

-Utilities-
ForceWall (130) - Could come in useful for those times I'm not there to guard an entrance.
Local Net (100) - Unhackable connection to the internet? Oh yes please.
Shelving (Free) - Can't just shove shit in here willy nilly. Hmm... Hey Gil, how did you organize the original Gate?

>G: It was not. Since my first meeting with Enkidu where I used my treasures, it had been in a state of disorder. Even before then, the amount of treasures inside were so vast that the clerics I tasked with helping sort it were unable to despite working day and night.

Huh. Well then, just shows I should stay on top of this.

Terminal (90) - To further help with organization and what's where.
Portal (60) - Oh yes, way better than having to physically insert a key into the nearest door! Combined with that earlier rule, and provided I could come up a proficient enough spell, I could have quite the bullshit little manuever to use.
Link (30) - And with this, I have teleportation between any two points I wish! That wasn't one of the abilites the orignial Gate had, was it, Gil?

>G: ...

...Uh, alright then. Back to turning this place into a storage facility/fortress/teleportation station.

Food Supply (20) - Provided I carefully ration this, I could have enough food to outlast a small siege if I need to.
Electricity (10) - To make sure anything I hook up in here in the future is supplied with power. Anything to say about that G? Something like how the Gate never needed electricity?

>G: ...

Hm...

Loft (0) - Allows me more room for stuff if I need it.

Certainly doesn't stop me from eating goats.

Goat meat makes up, like, 90% of my protein intake. I mean, I can summon goats en mass using the Goat Queen Mutator from Goat Simulator. After that it's just a matter of processing them. Which is kindof a pain. So I built a machine to do it.

And of course, I can utilize Chi from Legends of Chima to give them anthropomorphized bodies and basic intelligence, creating an inexhaustible supply of minions.
Which is great for, like, genetic experimentation and stuff, since they're so damn replaceable.

Did you know that goats also produce milk that's drinkable by humans? Like, goat milk is a thing you can just by at the store in some areas.

Goats are really useful, is what I'm saying.

Waaaaay closer to Star Trek. Like, if Star Trek is one, so is Farscape. Maybe even 0.5, because there's high end weird shit like Q.
There's a not!human military state that dominates most shit, and there's also a race of superlizards with heat powers, but if you keep your head down you should be fine, even for an early Jumper.
Come to think of it, most of the alien races have incredibly shitty governments. The plant people are the only ones that have a truly chill government.
There's also a small number of weird alien godlike things out there, but it's really not too bad. A human, a not!human, and ~3 barely superhuman aliens take down most of those threats with minimal weapons and resources.

It really is a neat show, you should watch it sometime. It's on Netflix, I believe.

Item. You can move it just by pushing it along with your will, since it registers as 'yours'. It's basically a 'docile' Witch's Barrier. Tinkering with it would require some dimensional clarketech know-how or a lot of magical knowledge. Both help.

The support staff has no Discount on a Power.

And "Good Morning Class!" & "Good Morning Professor Jumper!" are listed as Free Teacher but Discounted Support Staff

If you want the two backgrounds to be a bit different, you can remove the Support Staff discount on those two perks, and instead give Support Staff their first purchase of "A Job Well Done" free.

That way having Good Morning Class!, Good Morning Professor Jumper!, and One purchase of A Job Well Done would cost both Teacher and Support Staff 200 CP

You might also want to mention if Adults/Faculty starts with their powers already at the maturation point (The "With Time & Practice" section of "How your Powers Grow" having been assumed to have already happened, but the "With Further Training" would apply to non FISS powers)

I have been assuming this, since they are not children learning their powers, but adults who have already done growing up in their backstory, but the jump does not say either way.

Your opponents use holy fire to burn you to a crisp after a heated battle, your flesh turns to ash and blows away, and you collapse. They begin to think they won, and then sinister glowing light sparks in your empty eye sockets, and you get up for round two, saying something like, "Well you managed to make it to the 2nd round. Good for you! Psssst, I hope you did something about these ashes that just fluttered away, should you happen to lay these bones to rest, my shade rising from the ashes is Round 3. First, I should see about getting the Association off my back. The drawback mentions that the Association knows better than to go after anyone particularly strong, so a couple demonstrations of Ea's power should be enough to at least bring them to the bargaining table, where my charisma will be able to handle the rest.

After that, hmm, well, I'm practically guaranteed to have more money than I know what to do with before the first year is up. I suppose I could invest it into the advancement of technology.

Maybe ask the Association about dangerous beings that they would rather not be around, and handle the ones I'm certain I can deal with to hone my skills. Possibly ask around about enchanted objects to stuff into the Gate.

I really hate time travel, actually, but it's an integral part of Hyper Clock Up and Madoka's plot, so...

Mami probably has Golden Grace and Absolute Configuration at minimum, especially in her prime. The perks that match her more than Sayaka probably work similarly for her (though not 'Decretum', obviously).

Well, considering the Lich part is covered and protected by the Vampire part, I would not expect a double vulnerability to apply enough damage has already been done to expose the bones through the flesh.

But might want to use a Force Field spell anyway.
The priest does his chant and throws the water.
Water hits a invisible wall about an inch from my clothes and slides to the ground.
Priest is shocked. "How..."
Jumper says, "you know you can use spells for more then just elemental attacks and healing, right"

(And Priest spend years trying to find a way to dispel the heretical magic barrier to be able to exploit my weaknesses. Which would be a trick since it is not created with magic at all. )

Oh god why are you making me explain time shit one post after I said I hate time shit WAS THIS YOUR PLAN ALL ALONG, ANON?!

Okay so. The Madoka jump happens ten years prior to canon. This new jump takes place in a different timeline altogether, but is post-canon. Which is like a month at the most.

Your actions would carry over, but things involving Witches would be substituted with Wraiths, and anything involving Madoka is erased (since she herself was erased from existence). Only Homura would remember your actions from that particular timeline, and that's assuming you met her.

So if you, say, became a mentor or veteran Meguca who brought the others together before canon actually begun, they'd see you in the same light. Any 'plotholes' made from Madoka's wish are filled with some equivalent event - like how Sayaka will eventually use up all of her energy to defeat a Wraith, mirroring her falling apart and becoming a Witch in the original timeline. This is assuming no Jumper interference happens, of course, but that's the canon example.
>>51243119
When you enter the jump? Probably not. It seems like a trick she picks up AFTER she gets swept up by the Law of Cycles.
>>
>>51243147
So, If I gave the canon cast magical superweapons of some sort, they would still have them?

Homura might freak that I had no memory of her though.
>>
>>51243226
That's up to how you structure your chain, but probably.

Or it's like GarlockAnon where you ended up shaping the creation of the new universe or burned a Return to participate in canon directly. At which point, it's up to you how things end up. Fanwank as appropriate.

It's less like a physical weakness ingrained into the flesh and more of a magical one imbued into your very being as virtue of being an undead.

If you take any kind of depowering drawback those shitty bodymod stats won't help you anyway. Also, most of those are either deathtraps, if they also forbid items and companions, or relatively easy depending on how you built.

>>
>>51243946
That's fine, I'm just saying why the Pokemon perks don't replace BodyMod.
>>
>>51243006
The Association wouldn't touch you. Servants can pretty casually slaughter enforcers and magi. Like sixty in thrity seconds according to Apoc.
>>
>>51243768
Not if you do it right. Just take the option in Bodymod for your base body type to not be replaced. Then the boosts from Pokemon will be included in your Bodymod body.

>>

Shit ton of social issues from how everything is communally shared. People born there are basically useless outside of them except in a military context.

>>

That's maladaption to the larger (individualistic) culture, it doesn't necessarily cause problems if the whole society is communal.
>>
>>51244055
Oh fuck, does that actually work?
>>
>>51244313
Their societies are failing too. Why do you think so many of them are gone or started to move away from the absolute communalism? Humans weren't designed to operate in such a way.
>>
>>51244299
I read the wiki.
>>
>>51244299
When it comes to jumps I don't know I research at least a little bit of what's to come.
Otherwise I'd just have a list of perks and a "stuff happened" written down.
Sometimes the stars align and I actually enjoy the work the jump is for, which is a nice bonus.
>>
>>51244338
I don't think you can infer from such a particular example that "communalism doesn't work."
It seems to work okay for a lot of people in Sub-Saharan Africa and South America. They're still there at least.
>>
>>51244055
Well then what stops you from going to a different setting as your first jump, getting a super powered body, then using that as your BodyMod body?
>>
>>51244398
Can't you still buy a woman for a cow in those places?
>>
>>51244055
That doesn't work dude. It's a perk not your base, so it's not what you base body would be as far as the body mod is concerned.
>>
>>51237962
If they're imported as a Muse then they're Muse-like enough to pass the usual screening (eg: for egocasting) but if they actually do something that a muse isn't supposed to and that comes to the authority's attention, then you might be in hot water.

>>51243958
I have feedback for the previous version that I think you missed.

>Space Station 13 Jump (0.6)

Can we take the Heretic perk twice, for both gods?

Might want to change the name of the noir mutation to "Noir Filter" or "Noir Sight" because having two things with the same name in the same jump is begging for confusion.

Do all the companions in the "Companions" section take up active companion slots? Asking because some of these don't seem like they rate being full companions rather than pets or summons

Please sort the items. Either by price or by background.

Energy sword is still listed as "discount Energy Sword". I'm assuming this isn't meant to mean you get a discount on more if you already bought one.

Noticed the "The Blob" drawback has some wonky pricing - it says it's 500/600, but the text says "for an extra +300...".
So either that should be +300/+600 or "for an extra +100..."
>>
>>51244430
Why not? There are some perks that are obviously supposed to represent your background training them.
>>
>>51244426
Not in most, no. Communalism isn't significantly correlated with low status for women afaik.

>>
>>51244399
The fact that, unless you're doing Pokemon first, Bodymod and the Warehouse come before doing any other jumps.

>>51244430
Yes, it does. It modifies your body. Then you take the option for Bodymod to use your current body instead of replacing it. So Bodymod includes those modifications.
>>
>>51244430
Personally, I don't think it would work the way he's saying either... but I do think you'd be able to add the results of the perks if you actually worked to stay that fit during your stay in Pokemon instead of letting fiat do everything.
>>
>>51244398
Are you really quoting a bunch of primitive tribals at me as examples of quality, workable societies?
>>
>>51244468
And you lose them when you take a powerloss drawback regardless.
Doesn't really matter since you get it back afterwards, but you can't game the system to get around the drawback.
>>
>>51244473
He's referencing that copypasta talking about how horse assholes evolved to keep themselves clean.
>>
>>51244488
Quality is subjective, but workable sure.
>>
>>51244518
>Subjective
I think a bunch of people who don't even know what farming is are pretty objectively worthless.

Moreover, you can't infer from the fact that these people exist that their way of life is healthy for them, especially compared to the normal ways of raising children.
>>
>>51244398
I wonder why those societies haven't walked on the moon.
>>
>>51244492
It's less "gaming the system" and more "not wanting to die within a week of taking a powerlessness drawback". Bodymod doesn't cure any disease you might have, but Physical Fitness from Pokemon says that your body is healthy and strong. Healthy, that's the part I want.
>>
>>51244538
normality is subjective, that's basic anthropology 101. if you can't understand that, you shouldn't be in this conversation.
>>
>>51244562
I wonder why they haven't fucked up the planet and doomed us all.
>>
>>51244474
Except no they don't. You have to do at least one jump first before taking any of those supplements. At least under normal terms. You can take them later, but not first.
>>
>>51244562
So by your standards, late 60s/early 70s America is the only workable society? Okay. Seems kind of unkind to your current culture, but whatever.

Because they're too busy dying of malaria and starvation.
>>
>>51244577
Have you considered just not taking a powerless drawback?
Either way the body mod body can be assumed to be healty given the physical fitness you can get out of it.
You don't need to maintain a perk to do that.

Although a lot of powerloss drawbacks just lock out powers and not being a normal if impressive guy so you wouldn't really need to worry about it.

>>
>>51244592
No, you have to do Pokemon before taking those supplements. If you're skipping Pokemon, you take them immediately. The order goes: "Pokemon-Bodymod-Warehouse-Everything Else". You skipped Pokemon, so you go straight to "Bodymod-Warehouse-Everything Else".

>>51244617
I've considered it, but I'd like to take various Gauntlets or what not. It just feels kind of annoying to be cut off from part of my escapist fantasy because of something in my crappy real life. And Bodymod says nothing about congenital disorders. You can be plenty physically fit and still have lots of problems.
>>
>>51244638
Okay then. Go live in Africa. Stop using this technology you're arguing with me on, since you're dooming the planet.
>>
>>51244632
Alright, those are things your current culture has. Though by those standards, America was an unworkable society until about fifteen years ago. Again, weird standards, but whatever.
>>
>>51244680
My point was that a society needs individuality and freedom if they want to both advance and be stable.
>>
>>51244670
I'm not saying I personally want to live in a tribe in South Africa or in a commune. My only argument is this: just because kibbutz didn't work according to some metrics of integration, doesn't mean all communalism is failed forever.

>>51244680
Antibiotics-resistant diseases are on the rise tho.
>>
>>51244712
Oh. Why didn't you just say that, then, instead of listing cultural ephemera?
>>
>>51244712
yes, but they also need to support and care for each other. Just because some societies care for each other and share more doesn't make them less individualistic. Humans are a social species
>>
>>51244662
Well shit. After reading them again it does just say after the pokemon CYOA.
Although it doesn't really say anything if you decide to skip Pokemon, but I guess that does mean you can just go to them immediately.
Of course you can still hold off if you want to since it just says after and not directly after.
So if for some godforsaken reason you wanted them to come after jump 50 you could.

Reminder that this is an incredibly long time to be on page 11 and I'm running out of minor facts people would be interested in. I keep getting tempted to shit on Great Plains tribes for being primitive and making people think everyone north of Mexico was a hunter gatherer.

Which one?
Maho is a bitch but is redeemable.
Erika is a irredeemable turbobitch
Miho is GOAT
Erwin is...okay?
All the others are literally who's.

Why are you balancing your jump against mid-end chain jumpers? There are things called scenarios which are at varying levels of difficulty depending on how you previously prepared. It just seems like the lazy way to make your special snowflake setting more of a threat than it actually is, basically the equivalent of comic-book retcons because the writers don't want to introduce challenges that require thought. All it really does is limit creativity by forcing people to use one of the limited in-setting solutions if they're not completely retarded. I mean, they're potentially interesting scenarios, but by default they're already not as interesting as they could be.

But whatever, man. Do what you want.
