HeroForge is pretty good. Plenty of options. Even just messing around with it has given me a lot of ideas for new characters as well.

I thought of that. I even tried setting it to "4x scale statuette, didn't make any difference. I guess it's easier to just keep them that size anyway.

What I would like to kow is if there's a way to "paint" the miniature online in order to see if it would looke well or too busy. Or to not have a grey dude if you're gonna use the web for a PC portrait.

Doesn't seem to have that either. You're the one supossed to paint them if you want. They clearly didn't make this expecting to be used as char creator
