I haven't used it, but I've used a lot of d20 systems and I would revcomend something else. Maybe BESM. Not the d20 version of that, either. The normal one.

White Mages are basically mandatory. No-brainer, right?

Blue Mages mechanically are entirely at the mercy of the GM and basically don't function independent of heavy arbitration.

Samurai is either REALLY busted or pretty sub-par depending on what it has at hand at the time.

Engineer is basically just not good, Dragoon is pretty mediocre, so is Thief.

Ninja and Dual Wield are silly busted.

I love the system and ran a nearly year long campaign. It was super fun, but a few of my players could not get over how potentially broken stuff could get. Not that balance was ever a problem.bjust that the potential for imbalance was such a big deal to them that they proactively threw a fit about other players being potentially overpowered. It was really frustrating.
