It was in the Injustice comics, the Constantine storyline. Myx stole the Spectre's powers from his host and sided with his precious evil superman under the guise of the Spectre.

Jumpers!

Do you ever release or pretend to be unfathomable horrors for the express purpose of uniting humanity?
>>
This is it. Jumpchain isn't fun for me any more. Anyone can update my jumps if people want them to.

I have brain problems when it comes to people abusing authority. I have ever since I started to get bullied back in high school. It's been hours since I got home from work and I haven't even changed out of my work clothes. I've been too "triggered" to use a SJW term to do anything but look at this stupid thread, not even able to think of anything else or feel anything except numb. I can't keep doing this to myself, so I'm giving up this worthless game just like I've given up on so much else in life when I was too weak and pathetic to do anything else.

So congrats anti-red moderator-san. You pushed the little retard boy away from his dumbass game of pretend and made him cry. Does that make you happy? I hope you get what you deserve. I know you won't, because nobody ever does, but I hope that it happens all the same. I hope that the last thing that you're forced to say before someone plucks out your eyeballs is "Please, Red! Please don't nerf my eyes!" What I want more than anything is for someone to take a hammer to your nuts and ruin your pathetic geek body. Who's the tranny now, bitch boy? Do you have pets? I wish they'd get run over.

But none of that is ever going to happen. You're going to live a long, happy life with your obese fucking ass playing vidya gaems on your thousand dollar three screen computer, because healthy, well adjusted people don't become 4Chan moderators. And when you finally die of a heart attack from cramming too many twinkies down your throat while fucking a crying hooker, God will welcome you into Heaven with Strom Thurmond and Lou Dobbs and personally give you a high five for making me cry. And while you're getting a blowjob from the angels, all the good people like me and Red will be in Hell getting our ribs ripped out by demons for the three millionth time.

I hate you.
>>
>>51157820
Look at it right now! I could just go away and never post again. But I can't stop myself. I have to let you know you won, so that way you'll feel happy. Even I know you deserve to feel good for hurting me. Supid stupid stupid.

Bro Calm Down.
Why don't you wait till we get the full story eh?
If you really want to leave. I'm sad to see you go, but you don't need to meltdown like this.
I'm not going to feed you bullshit about not letting him win, but apparantly a lot of what happened was mod miscommunication and a stubborn refusal to admit to being wrong.
>>
Hey guys, look at what I finally finished! It's a bit meatier than my other Jumps, but I'd really appreciate any constructive feedback you guys have to offer.

I present: Ogre Battle - The March of the Black Queen.

Also, apologies if I'm slow to respond. My Internet went out so I'm phone posting, but I'll be here most of the night.

Unity through a common enemy only last as long as the enemy lives. The threat of another one common may extend that period, but not by as much as you would hope. Hell, even during the fight against a common foe some nations/people would try to use it as a distraction to gain power over other nations/people.

Right, so, I'm just going to say this now: We're going to miss you if you leave. I know that doesn't mean much, coming from a bunch of anons on the internet, but we will. I'm pissed about this shit with Timmy, too, but I also don't want to lose people like you or Red or anyone else. Because you've done some great work, you're a good person, and it feels like I'm watching a friend move away because this one petty asshole gets off at being a dick. And I get it if you want to leave, I do. I've taken breaks from time to time myself. But, I'd like you to stay, if you're willing. Because no matter what, you shouldn't have to leave just because of one dick bag. Either way, I wish you the best of luck, and from one random anon on the internet to another: you're a good person, and I'll miss you.

It's your community. Of fucking course you have investment in it. When some drama happens the first thing you do is try and snipe people for your community. No empathy extended, no arguments to try and change their minds, nothing at all but "Hey join my site instead!"

Like a fucking vulture.

Oh fuck off. It's not bait if I think he's a piece of shit for his first thought being "How can I turn this around to advantage me?"

>>51158158
This is bullshit. Regardless of how you see other communities, it's still a place where he can discuss this hobby if he still wants to. If he doesn't want anything to do with this anymore, that's up to him, but if the only thing he can't stand is the shitposting, then I don't see what the harm is in going elsewhere to find people for him to discuss this hobby with.

Stay, post content, and when he shows his face again, we report him and talk to the mods again and file complaints in feedback.

And if anybody is going to hell, it's the people like the shitposter, who can't let other people enjoy stuff without trying to shit all over it.

People who actually help make others happy? People like you? Instant ticket to heaven, man.

Never give up. Never surrender.
>>

Yes, because it's better to show someone an alternate community with some connections, than it is to force someone to remain here when the reasons they want to leave aren't likely to be addressed in the near future.
>>
>>51158283
Your arguments have even less weight on me than they did on him. Neither SB nor this place are my community.

But I'm well aware that this kind of thing doesn't happen overnight. If his mind is set, I'm not going to make up a half assed argument to defend this place, not when the flaws that he's pointed out aren't baseless. Extending an offer for him to consider other places is just that, if he wants to take it, he can, if he doesn't want to, he's free to do whatever he wants.

Well, as someone who from time to time serves as humanity's progenitor I can tell you what I've done.

A little more functional control over the human body, ala shapeshifting is nice. There are all kin/d/s of options that can be used for. Increasing storage capacity so that when you increase lifespan it doesn't negatively effect them too much. Maybe a little bump here and there to certain traits to help humanity claim its rightful place among the stars: an increased sense of tribalism and loyalty as it applies to the species as opposed intra-species tribalism.

Depending on if I'm in charge I may toss a few more surprises in there, but that's really not the kind of thing you discuss in public. I imagine you understand. Love what you're doing, though. Consider me on board.

When somebody is at their lowest and sees no options, people's reactions differ, and there will be folks that are willing to show that there are different options still available. If your only recourse is to tell him to suck it up and ignore the shitposting, how are you giving him options?

This place doesn't change. You lose a jumpmaker, people get sad for a couple threads, then the shitposting happens again and people get swept up in the commotion until eventually it goes too far again and you lose another jumpmaker. It's practically a cycle by now. How many times are you going to ask us to believe that you'll really change for the better?

No. I'm not you, precious thing, but given your taste and I wouldn't mind a taste I have no doubt that we wouldn't get along like a world on fire. It's just so invigorating to find someone like minded who shares you goals and proclivities.

As for the enhanced loyalty, I must recommend it. Of course your people will eventually come to their senses and treat you the way you deserve, but why not help them? Why not reward them? The ones that come to me of their own accord, and feed me with their glorious devotion, receive all manner of gifts. A little sugar to attract them and reward them, and the lash when they fail of course.

Jump #17: Mount and Blade

Drawbacks:
+200(1200)Bandits
+100(1300)Claimants
+300(1600)Kingsman
Background:
-0(1300)Squire
Skills:
-50(1250)Feastmaster
-50(1200)Riding
-300(900)Volunteers
-0(900)Power Strike
-200(600)Weapon Mastery
-600(0)Right to Rule

Nothing too glamorous I'm afraid. This was a rather early jump in this chain, and my first hundred or so jumps in this chain were all about sticking to Guns and Melee combat settings, stuff that (mostly) didn't involve completely fantastic premises. Or, at least my builds didn't. Sometimes that meant being a fairly tertiary character as I got good.

This, like many other jumps around this time, is focused on building up a strong base of mundane ability, but begins branching into my penchant for the whole divine right of kings business. I figure Right to Rule contrasts with Kingsman to make me some sort of legitimate but stymied heir to the kingdom. In line for, but not sitting on, the throne.

Really though, it's "Feastmaster" that draws me to this jump. I love it for giving me something I really savor that isn't a combat aspect.

Previous Jump(16): Berserk
Next Jump(18): Adventure Time

The image Yoro was using was a humanized Burning Godzilla, so I thought I would point out that Burning Godzilla is a pissed off, dying parent that just saw their child die. So Yoro's pic would be the scariest Mama Bear ever.

Shin Godzilla's pretty cool, definitely a lot more monstrous and terrifying then previous versions of Godzilla. Combine it with GMK Godzilla for maximum horror.

So uh, yeah. Given the thread edition and the current argument, here's a preview of a new perk for the update. Y'all can thank Digger for this one.

Were You Expecting Nazi Gold? (-200, discount for Shocker Rider) Early on in his long career as a hero, Kamen Rider #1 had a habit of… appearing from nonsensical places in order to surprise his enemies. Shocker likes to think they’re clever, but that just means you have to be that much more cunning to get ahead of them. Certain tactics tend to catch even them by surprise, and this is one of them. If you know what it is your enemies seek and around the area it is… You can anticipate ‘when’ they’ll arrive in order to get a head start, but that’s not all. You can arrive there with little issue (navigating and talking enough shortcuts to usually outpace them) and place yourself in the position of what it is they seek in minutes, with no evidence of the replacement to be seen. It’s great for ambushes, don’t you think?
>>
>>51158715
This is true. Honestly, Shin Godzilla seemed less "Godzilla" and more like an NGE Angel. and I actually loved it. It was so much fun to see.

Oh, certainly. It's rare to find one who can appreciate my work.
My current project involves Symbiotes (web serial, not marvel) and Fiber Hybrids. One specimen of the former demonstrated the ability to grow pre-braided dreadlocks from its host's scalp. By combining the two, I hope to take it a step further and grow a weave of Life Fibers from and around my subjects' flesh. The last suit they'll ever wear, see.

Now that we have the new Fate jump, I'm using Fourth True Magic to erase the concept of the Johj from existence. That way, they'll all be totally erased, and Mars will still be there for terraforming.
>>
>>51158953
In order to bring out the best of humanity physically, while nurturing those propensities I'm interested in psychologically I've established a program of directed evolution.

Angelroids are just so fascinating. First off, they're unquestionably loyal and quite capable. So I use them to nurture those traits I'm interested in. I do this by enhancing their gamete cells with a modified blend of the Super Serum and the Progenitor virus. The effect has been a substantial increase in the overall durability and capability of subsequent offspring. Oh, and a significantly enhanced physical appearance. Once that population reaches critical mass, ie it can sustain itself without the aid of the Angelroids, I let the Angelroids slip into more of a elder mentor status and they help guide things for me. I hold a little ceremony for them, and they just love it.

I find that very helpful for establishing a solid base from which to conduct whatever it is that I need to do in a given environment. Plus it looks nice, and who doesn't want pleasant scenery.
>>
So, since I'm jumping Lord of Light as we speak, how many jumpers modeled themselves on existing figures out of Hindu mythology for that jump? I'm really leaning towards a Ganesh/Remover of Obstacles focus for this build....
>>
>>51159052
Apparently they're the next evolutionary step. The author has been going on about how the Terra Formar society is utopian because they don't have conflict and work together for a common goal.

>>51159064
It turns out they came from Antarctica.
>>
>>51159064

Evolution has been treating you well, then? My results in that field are consistently milquetoast; survival of the most adequate and all that.

I usually just resort to direct engineering, sometimes with patches over time. Eclipse Phase was invaluable in that regard.

Sometimes I suspect nature abhors pantropy. Then, of course, I come to my senses and remember nature doesn't care about anything at all, but it can be surprisingly uncooperative for an insensate process.
>>
>>51159191
Yes, I did see that in the WIP that got posted! I'm really happy to see that. 600cp was a bit of a surprise, It's rare to see companions cost that much, but she's worth it.

I'll be jumping it as a trip to the SM Manga, since it seems to draw most heavily on that depiction of the setting, and it fits nicely with an approach I used in a different chain (via GMG that time) where I solved the whole Mamoru issue by just becoming one reality's version of him.

I'm gonna have my work cut out for me though... the drawbacks to pay for everything I want is going to challenge my jumper pretty severely even after 200+ jumps.

Using the fourth to erase the backblast of the fifth isn't really creative, but it would keep it from being lethal to the whole universe.

You can also presumably do things like erase people's will to fight to talk them down, or if sufficiently powerful start erasing boundaries between things to combine them.
>>
>>51159314
The teleport one seems like it would leave gaping holes in space due to the whole fact that it erases stuff irreversibly. And do you really want to try to take the risks necessary to figure out how to use the Fourth to destroy certain aspects of your own body without harming others? Assuming it's even possible to use it that way.
>>
>>51159308
Well yes, bespoke solutions are sometimes best but you might give nature another look.

While I typically patronize and personify beauty, wisdom, and the arts I do on occasion take up the mantle of predation. If you haven't done that, I cannot recommend it enough. Living as a goddess of predators and predation gives you such insight into the meat of biology.

The universe is uncaring, but I've found displays of will and dominance to be surprisingly effective in those instances. Sometimes you just need to let it all hang out and cut loose.

In any event, I must go. This has been such a pleasure though, and we must do it again.
>>
>>51159314
>IT JUST WORKS!
I think, as opposed to shouting it, you should instead just calmly state this whenever anyone asks you any questions about it. "It just works" is true magic's thing, after all.

Does anyone know a way to push the fifth without killing everything? The only solution I could come up with is also taking first, then using it to make more time to replace what you borrow.

Some jumps turn out harder than they had to be. I really didn’t know what to expect from this jump, I went in looking for something like sword art online. That wasn’t what I got. A lot of the people were nice.

I hadn’t intended to get involved in the hacker problem but I bumped in to a few. By the time I got done with them they were convinced I was a hacker with the things that I pulled but I got them to talk a bit. It alerted me that there was more going on, some forbidden power thing.

I managed to find out they were looking for something called the forbidden power. Honestly I had a good idea of someone who already possessed it but just kept an eye on Alpha when I could.

I avoided the tournament because I decided that it was better not to draw attention to myself… unfortunately not too long after that everything went to hell. Some girl got turned in to an antivirus, we uncovered an AI and the fact that the forbidden power was some sort of virus, things got messy but I managed to make it through and help to keep damage to a minimum.

There was some talk of the servers shutting down but thankfully it was just talk.

Rhongomynyad - The Spear that Shines in the Far Away
Rank: A++
Type: Anti-Fort
Holy spear. Also known as Ron. It has been said that its true form is that of something which fasten together the two sides of the world.
When releasing the True Name, both Rank and classification change.

Originally, this holy spear is the "pillar of light" that sews together the two sides of the world, and it has been said that - in the unlikely event that this is undone - the current world that has been composed by the laws of physics will be torn off, and the many laws of illusion that became things of the past will appear.
Due being the "king" that stood at the final moments of illusion and the Age of Gods, she possesses this holy spear that conceals such tremendous power.

Rhongomynyad - The Spear that Shines in the Far Away
Rank: A++
Type: Anti-Fortress
Holy spear. An anchor of storm that fasten together the planet.
It has been said that its real form is that of a tower that fasten together the skin of the world. When releasing the True Name, both Rank and classification change.

Its original power is being limited by thirteen restraints, but nevertheless this is the pillar in the far away that shines to extol the brilliance of the planet.
───
The holy spear Rhongomynyad makes the "pillar of light" that fasten together the outer layer of the world as its main body. Thanks to the existence of the thirteen restraints that are endowed with the same processes as the "the holy sword of the planet that saves the world", this is barely in a condition where it can take shape as a Noble Phantasm.

Asari don't need them, thanks to Prothean genetic augmentation, but they do help them. That's why Asari party members can equip biotic augs. No idea if they need the support implants that make biotic augs possible, though. They might just be using their native mind-melding to interface with them, I wouldn't be surprised if Asari had tech for artificial melding.
>>
>>51159959
Where is it? I can't find it on the drive anywhere and I want to go to it.
>>
>>51160043
It's upgraded in Grand Order to being EX.
>>
>>51160005
I would imagine that you couldn't outside of perhaps making your devil tiger theme be a carbon copy of one set.
The primordials for those charms don't exist in that state anymore.
I suppose if gunstar autocthonia ever gets made into a jump you could though.
>>
>>51160069
Yes I am quoting the profiles where they mention it ranking up.
>>
>>51160065
Should be in unimaged folders.
>>
So I was thinking. You guys know that fan theory that states Asari somehow subconsciously make every species think they look like blue versions of them?

Imagine if that's true.

>Jumper takes Asari because they want to be a hot blue space babe
>Immediately takes off clothes and runs in front of mirror to admire their new body after jump starts
>Turns out they're actually a mass of tentacles
>>
>>51160065
It's in the Jumps with their own Folders section, unimaged.
>>
>>51160005
Depends on the charms. If you're talking about Gunstar Autocthonia, no. All those Primordials are dead or drastically changed in the continuity you go to. Infernals don't exist in Heaven's Reach at all. They're an entirely different thing in Burn Legend, so I doubt you could learn those charms. Maybe as an expansion on Infernal Monster Style, there is some similarity there, but that's not an Infernals-exclusive thing so much as something they're really good at. As for Modern Age, maybe. Some of those charms are fairly specific to modern civilization's trappings, so you might have to invent them yourself as the Yozi wouldn't have them on their own. But others use concepts that would have existed in Creation at one point or another, so it's not inconceivable that a Yozi would have them in the 2nd Edition canon.
>>
>>51159880
Jump maker here. Gonna say if you complete the A Journey Through Time drawback as well you could choose to get the scabbard instead of one of the knights.

Might add that to the jump later if no one minds that option and i can gather the motivation.
>>
>>51159959
The Greek Mythology wip was going to have the option to go to other ancient greek fictional settings like the King Arthur jump did it. Pity it wasn't finished.
>>
>>51160084
What evolutionary path makes you a memetic smurf?
>>
>>51160096
Boo fucking hoo, we don't have another lazy ass jump people just use to get things that they couldn't pay for in another jump. What a loss.
>>
>>51160084
Isn't that semi-canon? Every species insisting that they look more like them than other species?
>>
>>51160096
Is that up for adoption or dead?
>>
>>51160076
Really? Not him, but I'm looking through it now. The Charms seem to be for their Yozi incarnations.

I mean, there's a wind one for Adorjan and one for Malfeas that turns a vehicle into an armored brass version.
>>
>>51160092
Cool, thanks ArthurAnon. That'll help in battle, so if I get wounded I'm at least not bleeding as well, further sapping me of my strength.
>>
If you bought Artificial Crew from Elite Dangerous, which always gives you a skeleton crew of androids for your ships, and Old Friend and Full Crew from Uncharted Waters, which imports an existing ship and upgrades your crew to a full complement of seasoned professionals respectively, would it be okay to take that as upgrading the android crew rather than giving it a human crew?
>>
>>51160099
No evolutionary path at all. The big secret of the Asari is that they're an artificial species, the Protheans engineered them as a sleeper weapon against the Reapers, to rise up as a major galactic power and defeat them in the next cycle. Instead, the Asari pissed their advantages away playing political power games. Javik has some harsh words to say about that, if you take him on Priority: Thessia. Liara, too.

>>51160112
Yeah, but the canon is just that the various species tend to emphasize in their minds the parts that look most like them. He's talking about the fan theory that it's not just emphasis but total telepathic illusion rewriting their appearance.
>>
>>51160125
>ArthurAnon

I like it and now i'm taking it.
>>
>>51160137
No, because the Uncharted Waters one is only for a single ship's crew, not an automatic crew that applies to all ships by fiat.
>>
>>51160092
Oh hey, thought you were gone. Good to see you're still around.

So if they ended up with another artifact like Rhon, could you take that instead?
>>
>>51160119
I figured he was asking about Theion charms and the like.
Because Theion is kill.

IIRC the other non Gunstar Modern Exalted settings change what the Yozi actually are so those charms are probably right out as well.
I guess you could just make them custom if they're suffuciently in theme though. A lot of them are.
>>
You know, we've seen Excalibur, Avalon, and even Rhongomyniad, but with how omnipresent Arturia is in Fate I'm surprised there's no mention of Carnwennan.
>>
If we're essence 10 in one type of exaltation and go to another jump and get a different type of exaltation, do we still have to wait the thousand or so years to get to a 10 in the new one or do we count as old enough already? Like, say, an e10 siddie going to e10 dragonborn practically overnight.
>>
>>51160115
Up for adoption as far as I know, the author is long gone.
>>
>>51160150
That's fair. What if it only applied to the one ship you imported with Old Friend (which was what I had in mind)?
>>
>>51160084
To be fair, they can use human armor sets, but not the armor sets of other races, so they are closer to human in body, if not in face.
>>
>>51160178
Makes sense to me.
>>
>>51160145
>Yeah, but the canon is just that the various species tend to emphasize in their minds the parts that look most like them
I prefer that one and it makes sense based on the drunken bachelor party conversation.

DON'T RUIN BLUE SPACE BABES FOR ME, DAMMIT!
>>
>>51157882
I actually really like this format.
>>
>>51160175
Cool, I'd be totally willing to do it then.
>>
>>51160182
Oh, don't worry, that's my preferred explanation, too. Because there's no evidence the Asari have ranged telepathy. And you see dead Asari who presumably wouldn't be projecting the illusion anymore even if they did have it. It doesn't make sense for them to be changelings.
>>
>>51160174
Answer is fanwank since that can't happen at all in setting.
My first instinct is that you'd need to wait to get used to how the new essence works though.
>>
>>51160145
Wait so Asari were literally engineered to be super diplomats with rocking bods?
>>
>>51160161
Not gone just lurking.

Also i suppose you could, i don't know any other setting where they could gain a different magical weapon, besides fate, but if there's one and you can make an argument for them taking it instead go ahead.

I'd also say this applies for thing like that black Excalibur that you see when it get corrupted in fate should that happen.
>>
>>51160207
>And you see dead Asari who presumably wouldn't be projecting the illusion anymore even if they did have it
To be fair, I think the explanation for that and the statues and stuff was that they somehow rewrite the concept of Asari appearance in the target's mind, or something.
>>
>>51157882
>Dear Friends
Why is this using CP to measure perks like this? It's too meta and CP means very different things depending on the jump in question. The description before it is a much better way to describe it honestly.

How it should have gone.jpg
199KB, 1250x1288px
>>51159993
You, I like you.
>>
>>51160207
The big one is the statues, which couldn't telepathically manipulate people due to being stone.
>>
>>51160207
>>51160237
Besides, it's not like the Geth would be vulnerable to telepathy, right?
Eventually Legion would have pointed out that the Asari are actually little blue Shoggoths if that were the case.
>>
>>51160226
Yeah. It's also why they're naturally biotic, and incredibly fast and strong, and have long lifespans. They're meant to be the superhuman leaders of an army of conquered slave-soldiers, just like the Protheans were, only even better. The Protheans even left them a repository of all their technology, which is why the Asari tech base is so good. But the Asari leadership realized that fully capitalizing on their advantages would mean admitting that they had a helping hand in all of it instead of doing it for themselves, so for the sake of their pride they hoarded their technology and only slowly dealt it out, making them unprepared by the time the Reapers came around.
>>
Well I just finished off my list of jumps to take. If anyone has any more suggestions of jumps they would like to see me take I am looking for 7.

Here is the list of Jumps I have already taken http://pastebin.com/MR60FhSt

>>
>>51160313
Devil Survivor 2
>>
>>51160204
Sounds awesome. Greek mythology is really interesting.
>>
>>51160294
Why would they even care they were helped along if they were doing it from the back of their slave armies? That's really fucking stupid.
>>
>>51160366
>Thinking super-politicians wouldn't be super-stupid
See anon, you're making the same mistake the Protheans did.
>>
>>51160366
Yes, it is. Asari are dumb. Like I said, there's a lot of "oh my god, you idiots wasted every advantage we gave you" ranting from Javik.
>>
>>51160387
HOW DO YOU FUCK UP BLUE SKINNED SPACE BISEXUALS WITH SUPER BEAUTY
HOW???????
>>51160403
Man I want to maintain that early start drawback from GHQ and just make them a galactic superpower while bitch slapping all the people shitting themselves because "muh pride"
>>
>>51160294
Well humans are lucky that every other race, all innately superior to humans in every way with centuries of technological lead ahead of them and sponsorship from the races before, all of them, are retards.
>>
>>51160426
Meh, wouldn't they be fucked up worse if they were evil slaving despots who treat other races like cattle like the Protheans wanted?
>>
>>51160426
Err, I'm pretty sure starting 66 Million years in the past actually puts you several cycles ago?
>>
>>51160331
>>51160357
Alright added to the list. Also I don't mind jump makers shamelessly shilling their own jumps.
>>
>>51160426
>>51160441
Each Reaper cycle has a space of 50,000 years in between, so, doing the math, with that drawback you'd be...1,320 cycles ago.
>>
>>51160434
That would make sense to me.
I mean I can accept that if your race has been actually engineered by super science to be good at everything then they'll curbstomp the other races. It just pisses me off because this sounds like some excuse they had to make up so the Asari wouldn't be cooler then humans in every way.
>>
>>51160429
Presumably there's a bunch of alternative ME universes where it turned out different...
>>
>>51160464
Well the humans just come across as stupid lamers who just stumbled in absurdly lucky like.
>>
>>51160441
Yeah. On average there's a cycle every fifty thousand years, adjusting for the individual species of each cycle and their respective development. So you'd be approximately 1300 cycles ahead of time.
>>
>>51160426
>Not making Humanity the galactic superpower
>>
>>51160482
Why the fuck would I be the God Emperor to humanity when I could it be it to super beautiful space ladies who are better in every way?
>>
>>51160464
Yeah. I ended up picking Asari as a race because of their abilities. Mass Effect aliens do have a surprising amount of things that could be considered superpowers.
>>
>>51160464
To be fair, everyone is stupid in Mass Effect. Everyone. The Quarians tried to murder the Geth when one asked if they had a soul, the Leviathans never thought to install a "Don't betray and kill us" function in the Star Child, "Ah yes, Reapers", and...well, need I go on? When it comes to important decisions, everyone not named Shepherd will always, ALWAYS fuck up, without said Shepherd's assistance. And the only reason he doesn't fuck up is because he's a video game character and we make the decisions for him, plus save scumming.
>>
Where can I get one of those perks that let you start jumps in a position of authority?
>>
>>51160495
Those space ladies need human dick regardless.
>>
>>51160429
>>51160473
Humanity is the dark horse race that pumped their Luck stat like crazy and wound up becoming the Chosen Ones of the RNGesus.
>>
>>51160495
Because those space ladies are fucking idiots.
>>
>>51160331

Heya, just wanna bring up the King Arthur Supplement while you were around. You have any plans of finishing that and giving stuff descriptions?
>>
>>51160549
Yeah, i haven't even messed with it since i first posted the jump two years ago. I gotta go wiki diving to grab some ideas for the descriptions but i'll update it. I work super slow so no promises when but i'll get to it.

If anyone has any requests for the jump or the supplement go ahead and say so.
>>
>>51160532
And I can provide one.

>>51160543
So is everyone in Mass Effect though.
>>
>>51160505
>"Ah yes, Reapers"
I was always kind of disappointed there wasn't a Renegade option to sarcastically respond with "Ah yes, Reapers. We have dismissed those claims. Clearly this is just a Geth invasion fleet." to the Council asking you to fix their mess.
>>
>>51160577

Gotcha, thanks.
>>
>>51160577
A drawback/scenario for helping Mordred instead of Arthur?

>>51160589
Same here, which is why I said it when I jumped Mass Effect.
>>
>>51160603
Doesn't the A Journey Through Time drawback cover that what with Mordred being the king's son and therefor successor? I mean even without the drawback you could do that anyway.
>>
>>51160468
>Presumably there's a bunch of alternative ME universes where it turned out different...
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9271192/1/Transcendent-Humanity
As far as I can tell, it's basically not!Eclipse Phase Humanity in the Mass Effect universe, but I don't know a ton about about Eclipse Phase, just the basics.
It's pretty HFY, but arguably it's HFY that makes sense. Where humans simply put in the time and did everything the right way.

Does anyone know if the generic xianxia jump is ready for builds, or if Record is still tweaking things?

>>51160441
>>51160463
...hold the phone here, I don't remember exactly how long the Leviathan civilisation existed ago but if you did that-is there a possibility you could start before the Reapers even existed?

>>51157818
Tried that a few times back in the day. Got mixed results; in Pacific Rim I ended up fighting WITH humanity against all the kaiju, and in 40K I didn't mean to do it and it happened because my ACTUAL plan for humanity was sabotaged by Emps.

These days I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of unfathomable horror. When I need to make public appearances, I've found the Old Testament look works way better.

You'd be amazed how many people trust a burning bush that shouts commandments.

>>51157820
Sorry to hear that.

I know it's a longshot you're still reading this but as someone who's been here a while, I'd just like to say I've found it helps take a break and calming down with some vidya or just a walk when things get too fired up in thread, before making hard decisions.

Helps put things in perspective when you realise how distant those people actually are.

>>51157836
Also, none of that and whoever he is, he doesn't.

>>
>>51160653
I think generic xianxia is probably done. There was still contention about the time extender drawback, but honestly I don't think anything else is going to need changing and even that isn't a real big deal.
>>
>>51160629
...huh. Fair enough. Um, maybe a drawback for helping King Arthur mend relations with Morgana and Mordred? Sarcastically titled, "Happy Family"? Actually, maybe a drawback just for preventing the tragedies of Arthurian myth, there's a difference between keeping Arthur on the throne and making sure Arthurian myth is mostly happy and tragedy free after all, right?

>>51160653
Hey Garlock, I remember that you had a combo for being Achronal, but what does that actually do? Make you immune to time shenanigans? It used Angel's Grace and Observer and all that, I think.

They were both wrong, at least in my opinion. They both fucked up, spectacularly, repeatedly.
Or perhaps I should be more specific.
There was nothing wrong with that Mordred wanted, but she/he went about it in the worst fucking way possible. Likewise Artoria/Arthur had a good damn point, but should have at least made an effort of some sort.

Oh, the Seithr Fluid Body Theory one? Judging by how Phenomenon Interventions work I imagine it's something like one of those DAA reality marbles that manifests through their body. So immunity to time shenanigans as a side effect of being a protean lump of eldritch ooze that can move around outside of causality, basically.

...well, originally. Now that I've retroactively had both the Third and the First Magics for centuries before heading for Blazblue, even I'm a bit lost wondering how trying to become a "Heaven's Fall" would interact with it.

At least I got some experience with being an amorphous mystic energy slimeball?

>>51160741

>>51160663

>>
>>51160752
Arturia's biggest failure was always her difficulty empathizing with those around her. Likewise, they saw how she held herself and began to assume she had no emotions.

A word that starts with T.
>>
>>51160788
Uh Arturia made no failures as a king. That's why people stopped thinking she was human. She was able to turn off her emotions and do completely heartless shit like raid and slaughter her own villages in order to keep the rest of Britian safe.
>>
>>51160805
Well, when a planet wants something or someone to die very, very much...
>>
>>51160706

Aye, but I'm not helping Arturia in King Arthur.
I'm getting her her Happy Ending in FSN. Happy Endings for EVERYONE!

>>51160821
If the people hate you you failed as a king. You can't just be a Strategy Machine, you also have to keep the good will of the people, and your soldiers/nobles.
>>
>>51160821
Kings are public figures. Public figures need to be popular.
>>
>>51160844
A King isn't a popular leader, they don't need to be loved to successfully lead their kingdom to safety and prosperity. Which is what Arturia did until the very end. Thus she succeeded.
>>
>>51160812
>Pretty sure we have perks for that, don't we?

Or you could just be her friend and help her in general.
I don't really know much about Fate, but it doesn't seem like anyone got close to her during her time as King.
>>
>>51160854
Kings are not presidents or prime ministers. Democracy is not a thing, especially when you have bullshit strong magical powers and all the other strongest guys in the kingdom are fanatically loyal to you.

What the fuck is the common man or soldier of Britain able to do if Arturia tells them to get the fuck out of the way?
>>
>>51160868
That works as well, I just wanted a way to guarantee it just in case my not friendship isn't enough.
>>
>>51160844
>>51160837
Arturia kills her own villages to supply her army so they can fight off invasions. Basically the village would have been wiped out later anyway and Arturia knows this. So she orders her army to take all the food from the village and then puts them to the death so they can die painlessly instead of all starving to death through the winter.
>>51160854
She was popular and beloved by the public. Lancelot fucked everything up though because she didn't punish him for fucking Guinevere and decided he hated her for being to perfect.
>>
>>51160866
>>51160875
If you cause a revolt because the people disliked you, you failed. End of story.

>>51160875
>What the fuck is the common man or soldier of Britain able to do if Arturia tells them to get the fuck out of the way?
Revolt. Like Mordred and her followers did.

>>51160897
She was beloved AT FIRST. The longer shit went on the more people began to dislike her. Because of how "inhuman" she appeared.
>>
>>51160875

>>
>>51160897

>>
>>51160932
Arturia is literally spelled out to always be right about shit like this. The village would have died to the last anyway, she turned that into an advantage. Basically she stops herself from having human emotions because otherwise Camelot falls and everyone dies.
>>
>>51160914
You mean Mordred, one of the few people almost as powerful as Arturia herself? Remove her from the equation and all you have is a small rebellion that will be brutally suppressed by the magic knights of the round.

So you're telling me that putting down "righteous" revolts with brutal murder makes you a perfect king, without any failures?

Ignoring that anyone you kill in that Revolt, that you could have avoided, could be farming for you, paying taxes, or serving in your army.
And anyone who died fighting them can no longer serve in your army either.

Causing a revolt at ALL, even if you put it down harshly, is a failure as a King.
>>
>>51160966
>Tyrant
And your point is? This is something she did before and would continue doing. It's something that had kept her kingdom ultimately safe and happy overall for many years. Why do you think she stopped herself from feeling anything?

>>51160976
The revolt was caused by other people not being able to deal with Arturia being good at shit. Her problems were personal ones not anything that actually came from her ability to be a king. No one in Camelot hated her for the village killing, they all accept and acknowledge it was absolutely the right decision. They just can't accept that the perfect king is someone who can do stuff like that.
>>51160998
Camelot is fated to lose. Arturia puts off that fate thirteen times and makes it serve as a shining beacon of human history.
>>
>>51160976
No but good work putting words into other people's mouths. I said she was a successful King, not that she was perfect. That's all you. That she led her kingdom for several decades at least with it being safe, happy and growing well until being betrayed and murdered marks her as successful. She had failures but overall her kingdom survived in some way until the present day because of her actions.

Also stop projecting your own morals onto people in a different time and place. This isn't the 21st century, it's 10th century Nasuland Britain. If you've pledged fealty to a king and then you get pissy and revolt because she's not a perfect little waifu that makes you feel good when she's already keeping you safe and fulfilling all other kingly duties, you should feel lucky that all you're getting is a quick death.
>>
Is there a contingent of people who intentionally defend any waifu? Like a waifu white knight force? You saw it with Belldandy last thread, now some people are randomly flicking Arturia's bean against all criticism.

Don't really have a dog in this fight or much knowledge of how things went down, but that kinda sounds dumb given the variety of causes a revolt can have. You can be the kindest, most just and popular leader with all but one group, and your enemies could still fund and supply that one group that hates you so they have the power to rise against you.
>>
>>51161013
This.
When your bar for good kingship is that you make a safe and wonderful kingdom against all odds with as few deaths as possible and then have to make them feel good about you being so fucking perfect it's just not going to happen.
Arturia's big mistake is assuming everyone else is as committed to the Camelot thing as she is and that they won't fuck up because of emotions.

Yup.
Camalot fell, tons of people died.
But England "survived", despite the fact it was torn apart and put back together later by several other people over the course of a couple of centuries, so Arturia/Arthur is still perfect.

>>51161009
It doesn't fucking matter if they are in the wrong for not being able to accept it. What matters is that her failure to empathize lead to the revolt, when if she had actually sat down and fucking talked with people it could have been avoided.

>>51161013

I never said she wasn't successful. I said she "had failures", IE wasn't perfect. I never said she "was a failure"

I simply outlined the economic consequences of a Revolt, and why causing a revolt is a fuck-up as a King.

You repeatedly said that anyone who did what she did was a failure as a king such as when you said that anyone hated by their people fail as a king or anyone who has a revolt happen fails as a king while referring to her causing those things in your opinion. Would you like me to link to those posts or can you backtrack that backtracking on your own?

You also seem to love putting all the onus on Arturia when as mentioned before, she was running an entire kingdom and didn't have all the time to attend to Mordred being a psychotic daddy/mommy's boy as much as needed. That's not her fault. That's her doing her job. Maybe Mordred should have tried to speak to her more directly about it instead of letting things simmer until they caused a revolt eh? Subjects have a duty to their King too.

How durable is Adamantium
>>
>>51161107
Counter Guardians are for human extinction. As in all humans on the planet are about to die.
Vortigen doesn't hit that.
>>
>>51161118
Assuming Marvel it's durable enough unless the plot decides otherwise.
>>
>>51161118
Depends on the specific alloy. If you're talking about the good stuff, then the answer to this question is best put as "yes".
>>
>>51161118
Which grade?
We have Proto-Adamantium, True Adamantium. Beta Adamantium, and a few unstable Adamantium types.
>>
>>51161118
Depending on the specific alloy it ranges from "thousands of time stronger than steel" to "so durable only godlike cosmic beings can break it".
>>
>>51161132
Well, it's Avengers, so yeah, it's Marvel.

>>51161140

If you go back you'll note this started when I said they BOTH fucked up, and someone called me out saying Arturia never fucked up.
Which is why this argument is on Arturia. Mordred definitely fucked up, she should never have revolted, and should have tried to understand where Arturia was coming from.

BTW, I thought I should tell you this if you didn't already know.

In the Sonichu jump you can buy Sailor Senshi powers and import/create companions. You already know what you must do.
>>
>>51161118

As far as I've heard, second grade shit is so durable that the best anyone has ever done is dent it (Thor and Hulk iirc) after putting all their strength into it, I think Magneto may have been able to manipulate it too, but can't remember any instances. True Adamantium (or whatever it's called) appears to have supernatural immutability, meaning nothing can physically, magically or conceptually damage it or change its shape after it gets done cooling or being shaped or whatever. Might need fact checking on that though.
>>
>>51161156
If you acknowledge Mordred fucked up, why are you trying to argue that Arturia is a terrible King for not babying Mordred? She did what she was meant to do and even made a small amount of time for him. Everything else is Mordred's fault for being a spoilt, idiotic little girl instead of growing up and confronting her problems head on.
>>
Hey Valerie, can we take skills as a noble phantasm to boost their power slightly?
>>
>>51161153
>>51161179
>>51161188
That's pretty durable. Though I guess I don't have True Adamantium, then, if it's that durable?
>>
>>51161155
True Adamantium is the second strongest grade, just below the Proto-Adamantium that Captain American's shield is made from. It's extremely tough, but not so much that a magnetic field on the order of those producible by Magneto (which is, to be fair, a helaciously strong magnetic field) can't tear it apart. Extreme strength of the sort that physicaly-oriented low-tier cosmic beings can also damage it, Thor has done so in his more powerful incarnations.
>>
>>51161204
That's pretty buff, still. So, I guess Proto-Adamantium is what NuBee was talking about, then.
>>
>>51161155
Nuke proof doesn't even begin to state how strong it is.
Thor once hit a cylinder of it with Mjolnir with most of his strength and only managed to slightly dent it.

However, True Adamantium does have one weakness (or at least it did, not sure if they retconned it to be a different Adamantium variant). High Frequency weapons. A sufficiently strong enough High Frequency weapon at a high enough or just right Frequency can cut through it.
>>
>>51161202
No, you have True Adamantium. Due to some weird naming conventions, True Adamantium isn't the strongest version. It's called "True" because it's reproducible instead of being a weird one-off fluke that no one understands. Proto-Adamantium is an anomaly, it's not considered part of the normal grading system for the alloy.
>>
>>51161204
>>51161217

Yeah, that's my bad. There's a lot of different grades and I'm bad with names.
>>
>>51161217
No, Proto-Adamantium is basically the god tier of Adamantium that has only been destroyed due to defects in the material during the forging process because it was made while the creator was asleep.
>>
>>51161220
High Frequency weapons can damage it? I think Vibranium can resist that, right? So fusing the two should make it even more durable.

I don't really see a problem with someone picking up Escalvatine, since it's really just weaker Ea that compensates by having lower mana costs.

Honestly, Escalvatine was one of the most disappointing parts in an otherwise really enjoyable fanfic that does lots of cool stuff, just a lazy copy of parts of existing NPs (Excal, Arondight, Ea) mixed into one.

>>
>>51161278
Could EX rank of a skill be a True Magic?
>>
>>51161293
No.
>>
>>51161220
I'm pretty sure the cylinder dented by Mjolnir got retconned into secondary adamantium. I don't know about the high frequency weapons.
>>
>>51161202
True Adamantium is the second most durable type of Adamantium and is so durable that it takes something on the order of low cosmic-tier beings to even dent it. It's supernaturally immutable to the degree that it's pretty much indestructible to conventional forces. Proto-Adamantium is the strongest and it's durability is best described as "Yes." True Adamantium can be damaged, it just takes cosmic-tier shit to do it. I don't think Proto-Adamantium has EVER been damaged by anything, with the only exceptions being it breaking apart due to imperfect processes instead of any kind of weakness in the alloy itself.

What makes True Adamantium so great is that, while not as strong as Proto-Adamantium, it's reproducible and it's not reliant (as far I know) on any underpinning concept exclusive to the Marvel Universe. So you could theoretically steal the formula from the US Government and mass-produce it with something like SupCom nanotech easily enough.

Good fucking luck with that.
That's not me mocking you. Vibranum + Adamantium is Proto-Adamantium. A thing that no one in the Marvel world knows how to make.
>>
>>51161318
Proto-Adamantium has been damaged on four occasions, according to the wiki: Once by Doctor Doom with stolen Beyonder powers, once by Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, once by Molecule Man, who is actually one of the strongest cosmic-tier beings and is just majorly underperforming, and once by Cul Borson, Odin's brother, after he had powered up his magic by absorbing all the fear in the world. So it's not completely indestructible, but it is so durable that it takes major reality-warping powers to damage.

And so it came to pass that at the turn of the century, the reincarnated celestial law Long Dik was heralded by a wave of inauspicious misfortune.

His ancient rival Fook Yu had trained for this day. Many years ago, the venerable Fook clan had been disgraced when it challenged Dik in a martial arts tournament, Grandmaster Fook himself pounded on the ground until he had been forced to submit, his impregnable defence penetrated so hard he walked funny for the rest of his life. No matter, vowed Yu, for he knew Dik's weakness: Endurance. This time, he would uphold his honor by bringing Dik to release...back into the cycle of karma.

*Winces* ok So it turns out yes a trumpet can be used as an effective weapon for demon killing if your creative enough… ughh my ears. So I woke in some sort of high tech lab on a slab with some demons around. Strangely I thought they were going to try and kill me but they instead either bowed to me as I broke out or kept their distance… or played those damn trumpets as if royalty had arrived. That got old quick. Sometimes stacking perks that let you command demons is a bad thing.

I looked around to see if anyone needed help sadly that was not the case… it was… ugly. These demons looked like they had once been human. It left me in a strange spot. Every fiber in my being told me to kill them but they might be useful in helping others if I could keep tight enough control on them. In the end only the noisy ones died (no I didn’t do it as much as I would have liked to… when you are making noise in a battle field it makes you an easy target).

I found my companions and together with my now small army we took what data we could and went to seardch for any surviving humans. I was only able to find one. Some guy in Heavy armor like mine. I never really got to meet him in person but I tried to help him out. At first he seemed to ignore me when I tried to talk to him on coms, eventually I think he accepted me because I could havk in to systems and open up doors saving him time so he could go kill more demons. He really seemed to love doing that.

Anyways I helped my new friend (Well he probably would have shot me if he could do to the being demonic thing) close down the portal to hell. I made sure he didn’t get stuck on the other side and made sure to send my minions home.

Was just reading a Traveller / Mass Effect xover and laughed a bit harder remembering this part of the thread when I got to this line in the fic:

>“There’s a cultural emphasis on letting people know how excellent you are as a leader. They’ve just adapted it to showing off how fine the Vargr are to the rest of us. A lot of rather silly maidens find them delightful, though amusingly they really don’t seem to like Asari appearance very much. Lack of fur is usually a sign of disease.”

(Vagr are also a genetically uplifted servant species, but from wolves rather than whatever asari came from)
>>
So where are we at with the mods? What did Alternative say?
>>
>>51162610
Apparently there's some policy that prohibits mods from discussing ban policies with thread users. However, apparently a) Scatovore isn't a mod and b) the mass ban at Christmas actually happened because Alternative assumed CYOAs belonged on /qst/; he's since reversed his stance on the matter thanks to a couple of regulars convincing him. There was something of an attempted cleanup by the mods on Christmas.

Red's recent ban(s) have apparently been because of similar reasons with another mod misunderstanding what constitutes "spamming".

Well hey, we're all just saying things on the internet so if you don't believe you don't believe and there's not much more to say. I'm just relaying what I learned from talking to them.

That said if I were in Scatovore's position, I either wouldn't confess what I did or wouldn't go through so much trouble to civilly explain everything. His behavior tends to be impulsive and off the cuff, it just doesn't fit with this guy who outright said he's been talking to other mods to make sure this never happens again. Remember how Scatovore used to like gloating whenever he thought he'd won?

Not the guy you're replying to, but it gives more evidence to it being one guy with a frankly weird vendetta.. If someones gone to the trouble of making something like this there's usually a reason. Justice I have an Exalted question if that's okay.
I want to make custom Sidereal Martial arts techniques but I'm not sure how to proceed.

Would this
"Isle of SerenityForm
While using this form, agitation and violence will tend to vanish in the small circle around you. All strong emotionswill dampen and serenity will envelop all."
qualify as a custom technique?
>>
>>51162929
I don't know enough about Sidereal Martial Arts to make a good judgement. Despite MA being super powerful in-system I've always been a Daiklave man.

But from my vague knowledge that seems a bit too...absolute? For a Form Charm anyway, and it sounds like a Form Charm from the wording. Moreover it's kinda vague, so I don't really know what you mean.

Work continues on finishing up the Greek Myth jump now that I've adopted it

Drop-In
Xenia 100
You are always more likley to find someone willing to give you hospitality while travelling. You will be invited into their home as a guest and treated as such as long as it is not unreasonable for them to do so. In exchange those who are giving you hospitality will seem to be blessed so long as you are with them. Their crops will live during years of famine, wars will seem to pass them by without taking their food or killing them, and they will always seem to have enough money to live in moderate comfort. They will also make fast friends with you should you be willing. It's as if the Fates smiles on both of you. However the pattern the Fates spin will only change so much, active targeted actions against whoever you are staying with would almost certianly be enough to break their lucky streak should they have no other protections.

Trojan Equine Knowledge 200
Like a certian man who will be lost at sea following the Trojan war you are crafty. You have a natrual inclination for plans and schemes, especially those to defeat an opponent stronger then yourself. Furthermore you are able to preserve and endure when other mens courage or paitence might fail them. Just be sure not to let it all go to your head.

Blessing of Hygieia 400
You are blessed by the god of health, sanitation, and cleanliness. This has made you immune to all natrual diseases and poisions and even to the worst of the supernatrual, even a diseases or poision as strong as a cup of undiluted blood from the Hydra would not affect you. Furthermore the Goddess protects you from curses warding away any and all curses that God's or other beings try to place on you. This is not her domain however so her protection from curses is less absolute then when working against diseases or posions. It would still take somethign as strong as a powerful God to curse you though.

Walker of Worlds 600
The messenger God Hermes walks easily between Olympus and the Underworld without fear of danger. The effects of all enviromental dangers are greatly mitigated by this perk to the point you could easily travese a dessert without fear of burns or swim the oceans without drowning. Harsh enviroments and difficult terrain are the same as paved roads to your feet and you can easily travel at your top speed through them. Wild animals and beasts will never interrupt your travels with attacks. The greatest boon of this perk however is that you may reach even places that are sealed off or impossible to travel to, your feet could stand in the Elyisium fields in the day and Tartarus during the night. It is like you are one of the four winds which may travel anywhere without fear.

>Does this mean inter-plane and inter-dimensional travel?
Not on it's own. This lets you bypass anything that would keep you from going somewhere but you still need to be able to go there if that makes any sense.
>>
>>51163491
Sounds more like a 400cp perk desu

If you take the Nameless drawback in the A Practical Guide To Evil jump, do you get your Name when the jump ends and drawbacks are revoked? It says "You have no Name" but it also says "during this jump"...
>>
>>51163594
That's how I read the perk. Drawbacks end after the Jump's over, and this one explicitly mentions the effects ending after the ten years.
>>
>>51163444
The Greek afterlife was located on Earth I think. That is if I'm remembering the thing about Orpheus correctly and the other stuff I remember about it.

>>51163491
>>51163523
Maybe a speed increase when travelling?
>>
>>51163523
Nah, 600. Because it doesn't matter which side of the seal you're on. Some god locks you inside their inescapable prison that blocks all forms of egress on a lava lake warded with anti-flying magic? This perk, if I'm reading it correctly, means your travel powers to teleport out and fly away will still work just fine...
>>
>>51163644
So you become impossible to restrain or bind?
>>
>>51163491
Does it let you bring others with you (if your powers normally had that ability) or is it solely for you?
>>
>>51163666
It also becomes impossible to keep you out. If some wizard put a great big magic lock on something you could still get in. Also if it's normally impossible to get somewhere by any method, like Elysium, you can still get there.
>>51163667
You can bring others.
>>
>>51163679
Oh that's really cool. Definitely a captstone then.
>>
>>51163679
Ok that sounds pretty awesome.
>>
>>51163693
>>51163718
Wait till you see what the capstone booster does to it.
>>
>>51163729
I'm kinda worried, since it seems more like 800cp worthy with the extent it has already. Make sure you're not just putting things in because it's powerful.
>>
>>51163679
That seems beyond what the basis is for this stuff. Being able to go anywhere is a different thing from getting into anything that's locked. It should let you go to a dimension someone's sealed off from the outside, it shouldn't let you get inside some locked treasure chest.
>>
>>51163788
The limit is you have to be traveling there. So they couldn't lock you out of a room full of treasure but they could lock it in a box you can't go inside.

It depends.

Burn Legend is an entirely different thing. So that's out.

While Gunstar's got a bunch of dead primordials you couldn't find in normal Exalted, so those are out too (sadly, no Theion laser-eyes).

Heaven's Reach doesn't have any Infernals, so there's nothing to learn there.

BUT. Modern charms are fine, as is actually mentioned in the notes. So you can learn Brazen Hell-Chariot Carapace and the SWLiHN charms, to driven around in a hell-brass car or interrogate computers.

Could even learn these, which are pretty cool:
https://ericminton.wordpress.com/2014/07/02/ink-monkey-bones-8-modern-infernal-charms/

You could also take some inspiration from Gunstars (non-Theion) descriptions of what Infernals do, to figure out what Metagaos charms do for example.

There it describes this:
>Metagaos’s Devourers lay siege by spreading festering diseases and corrupting blood rituals throughout its populace.

What are the best perks for quickly gaining contacts and friends in powerful places?
>>
>>51163788
It should play up the travel angle, so it has to involve a "place" rather than a "thing". So you could escape (or get into) a prison cell but not a set of prison chains.

I added in the more meta description because the complaint I got last time was that is was too vague. I know CP means different things to different Jumps, but it was the best non-vague solution I could come up with.

Deneb can be recruited through Monster Mash drawback. I did it that way because she is always hyper-neutral in the games, unless she has gained something and is sure you are sympathetic to her... activities. Recruiting her in the the game is is a pain, so I carried on that tradition.

I think it would be almost impossible to balance around countless different possible settings and what you could get up to in them Greek myth in Fate is significantly diffrent from Saint Seiya. Also I want to give the craziness that is Greek myth it's chance in the spotlight. I mean nothing is final yet but unless I see a really convincing argument no.
