This is a very common misconception.

Orcs are farmers, they just don't grow the labor intensive, wide, massive, fields of grains we see and associate with successful agriculture such as: corn, wheat, barely, rice, chickpeas, etc..

Orcs invest their time in high-caloric, low maintenance, plant it and forget it crops like potatoes, squashes, pumpkins, onions, garlic, rhubarb, blackberries, with the closest thing to a grain being beans.

They're also crazy 'bout pigs.
Orcs LOVE raising pigs. I wouldn't be surprised if Orcs were the first to domesticate pigs.

Fancy armor anon. You show up with a small group of fancy looking warriors, and instead of murdering everyone like you look capable of, you discuss things. If they act like morons, which they might, you firebomb wherever their children live in the night, then show up out of nowhere to offer some "humanitarian aid" for these poor orcs, then try again. If THAT fails, hire some mercenaries to act like fools and piss off the orcs, then murder the mercenaries in front of the orcs and try again.
