Then what you do is take a sheet of white paper, lay it against the wall like pic related, set the camera on the surface, and shoot the mini like that.

Or (I am OP) a white bedsheet or envelope. Since the epoxy isn't 100% hardened yet, I'm loathe to lay it down on any facing that would have the details against the table. Nor is it based, and since assault marine legs don't exactly stand on their own, it's either hold the mini or go buy a thing of fun tack just to take photos. I know I'll need it for painting, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.
