I've been reading a super hero story recently that has some really eldritch-horror level threats
>The Simurgh appears as a fifteen-foot tall woman, waif-thin and unclothed. Her hair is almost as long as she is tall and is, like the rest of her form, platinum-white. She has a variety of asymmetrically and apparently randomly placed feather wings, which appear excessively large compared to her body. Parts of her are described as being hollow, or made from carefully placed wings, which serve as replicas of the absent body part. Her eyes are a solid gray, described by as seeming cold.

She is the only ideal precog AND ideal telepath in the entire setting. She descends from outside the Earth's atmosphere from time to time to sing. When she sings you hear it only inside your head for hear scanning for your past and for possible futures, picks apart everything and forces your head to focus on the worst stuff possible that will lead to strong changes in you and your personality so that in the future you cause something chaotic. Sometimes as direct and making you as kill someone important, shoot a hero, or sometimes something more subjective as being of influence to someone who could one day make a change. Just mainly hurt the overall morale of humanity and wear the world down little by little.

The only thing you can do is wall her targets (literally or not) and don't let anyone ever get out, since everyone afflicted is a ticking causality bomb, a true question of freedom in itself. Are you doing this because the Simurgh made you do it? Or is isollating yourself in fear of doing something she wants you to do, exactly what she wants you to do?

These guys were basically a Far Realm inter-planar empire, a mix of MTG's Phyrexians (with the "you will be assimilated" attitude) and the weird bodies of the Eldrazi (also from MTG). I won't pretend they are at all original but I did enjoy their strongholds having escher-like contradictions as well as their attacks and abilities having mind-rending and reality-warping powers.

I also like it because it makes for a good "generic" Nyarlathotep form. A compromise between a huge eldritch monster and his "human with odd skin colour" form. I can see him appearing like that when he wants to interact with mortals but also make his eldritch nature obvious.
Also, you can look at the picture and somehow just tell that he's a colossal asshole.

How she can copy, even though she has no intelligence of her own, super powers based on inventing things ahead of their time because she reads minds, so while she fights she can be using telekinesis to get pieces to build weapons of mass destruction, guns and multi-dimensional portals to other Earths
Or how even in a cape-scenario with the strongest trio of heroes in the world the modus operandi still is:

There's an extra bit of eldritch horror in there, since pretty much anyone who looks at her long enough starts to wonder more and more how they ever thought she looked human, as uncanny details start to pop out more and more.

For example, her hair isn't actually hair, it's just strands of material that are simply an extension of her scalp, rather than growing from sub-dermal follicles. It's too fine and well groomed to even resemble hair, once you've noticed.
