If I were an edgy teen, I'd say that God must not actually be omniscient or omnipotent because looking at the facts it just doesn't make sense even if He decided to limit Himself for free will to exist. God must simply be pretending to be omnipotent and omniscient when the reality is He is only exceedingly powerful and able to see most things, but not all at once.

Therefore God could be killed by some entity that is both exceedingly powerful and very clever. A fool's errand regardless, but within the realm of plausibility.

It's important to mix together several series, preferably several series with conflicting setting details, and to ruin what little continuity any of those settings may have had.

A friend of mine once ran a character in a game based on cringey Middle School bullshit who was who was the secret 14th member of Organization XIII, was his own nobody, and used to be a heartless until he got an automail heart.

Another player was half angel, half demon with one black angel wing and one white demon wing. Her evil gay demon dad and good lesbian angel mom got divorced and remarried, so now she has two evil gay dads and two good lesbian moms.

I think in many cases light and darkness are more symbolical. Good/Evil dynamic, or light as the sublime divinity vs. man's hidden bestial nature in darkness. A character who balances this can be an exploration of dynamic and static balance, or more likely in the cases in this thread, stand above either and have mastered both.
There's probably something with Eastern philosophy and duality and all that stuff too.

And at least in the weeby circles, Kingdom Hearts is to blame. It has tangible light and darkness like and basicly as DnD's Good and Evil and "Twilight" is one of many terms for "I don't have to explain shit".

While the villains in the first game used darkness, the ones of the second game were all about twilight. There was some bit about being forsaken by both light and darkness, but no such subltety is allowed in this series.

Anyway, you had an organisation of unaging beings physically unable to have emotions wearing black coats at all time. And except for one it was all guys, so this group was popular with both edgy teenagers(I got roped into running an rpg in that setting, I've seen some shit) and teenage girls wet for gay drama. So popular in fact that each and every one of them was brought back from the dead, completely ruining what little stakes the series had after time travel came up.

In general, Kingdom Hearts is an excellent example in bad writing.

So you can explain why your snowflake is so strong, while edging about how they are evil for using darkness and blah blah. And they can be persecuted and fight their inner demons, all that shit.

This is talked about in the Vampire RPGs, and usually it's a thing to stop before the person you're draining dies, but if you're starved for blood, you might not be able to stop yourself.

So, yeah, in the case of a far eastern vampire who is, say, a monk and lives at, or is perhaps the master of, a monastery, he could just take a small amount of blood from each of the monks that lives there whenever he feels his hunger becoming a problem. A mouthful here or there, spread out among several dozen monks wouldn't be any kind of a problem to any of them.

There's a lot of arguments about his mental faculties. What few papers they managed to get concluded that he possesses normal cognitive ability. What most people think is that Chris does genuinely have autism, but it's possible that he has other undiagnosed mental illnesses.
