I lurk more often than not, since as I've learned, posting with my trip on rarely leads to good things unless I'm shilling. Something new of mine got posted recently, but god, the overall quality of the layout just...god...

Have you considered hiring Forrest for layout? Her stuff is fucking GREAT.

>Tell me about the last time this game filled you with a sense of wonder and adventure.

Last year, when I was starting a campaign with a new group and discovered the other players were awesome and the DM knew what she was doing.

It was *magical.* There was this feeling that the world held more - more places to see, NPCs to speak with, opportunities to grow or develop or make filthy lucre. There was a world outside of the starting village, and I knew in the months to come we'll see it.

It happens now and again, though the most recent games I played were a little grittier than wondrous. There was a desert campaign we played a while back that I loved pretty much from start to finish-all kinds of strange lands and fantastical encounters.
>>
>>51023165
That would indicate that I'm a publisher. If I knew the layout of this project was going to be ass, I would have suggested her, but I 'try' to have faith in my publishers...try...

Never, really.
I'd rather play 2e D&D, or 4e, or RoS, or Shadowrun, or lot of shit.
There is nothing new or surprising about the game because it has been, almost by necessity, so thoroughly dissected, it's every multitudinous fault exposed.
I honestly hate the game, but I play it because I can still have fun with good friends.

Hunch Punch Lightnin', it's 40% ABV of surprisingly tasty liquor guaranteed to get you drunk after a few chugs.

Anyone else looking forward to Starfinder? I am, mostly because I want to run a sci-fi game but the FLGS has not tried not playing D&D or any of its derivatives. I did play Stars Without Number and it was great, but the DM had to cancel due to actually having a life. At the very least it would give the Pathfinder's sci-fi elements some realistic place in the world.
>>
>>51023400

So do I, but it feels out of place in normal Pathfinder. There's a huge technological jump from "post-Renaissance/early Enlightenment" in the more civilized areas to "NANOMACHINES, SON" in Numeria. The entire setting is a kitchen sink, but that stretches my suspension of disbelief. Call it autism.

I have strong doubts due to the extremely closed-door process they've used, especially after more or less saying that they hadn't much enjoyed people picking apart the mechanics in pathfinder with playtests when it's supposed to be ready to go to sales.

Probably we won't even see ships capable of holding their own against a level 2 spellcaster or a level 8+ any class; they'll probably take multiple rounds to fire "because theyre siege weapons lol" or some other dumb shit, and tech will still suck just as bad especially with "well since it's common there's now ten times as many spells to completely negate it"

That's what the information they've leaked so far has indicated. The casting classes are apparently going to be more like Warlocks or Kineticists with narrower versatility and more at-will functionality, while integrated technology like jet packs and power armor will be common tools. Assuming they are using the basic Pathfinder rules like they've indicated, it seems like they'll be squeezing everything towards a Tier 3 middle-ground.

Name these issues
>>
>>51024692
Depends on what you think the problems are. Earlier editions fighters had some of the best saves and were arguably essential to the game; later editions no class or even role was necessarily essential and action economy was made much more equitable across all power sources, magical and nonmagical alike. 4th edition was arguably the most balanced but also most gamist, 5th edition is probably the closest thing to a balanced vision that maintains 3.x dynamics, and the earlier editions suffered from unnecessary complexity and/or lack of consistency across certain mechanics since there was a lot more eyeballing it for things like monster CR instead of a structured system with established performance markers.

I don't even mind ACTUAL Vancian casting, which has actual limits that can not be skirted.
3.PF is when it went south, offering a shitton of ways to make it's limitations meaningless.
>>
>>51025088
3.0 actually. Right from the start of d20 it went wrong; the first limitation removal was the "caster stat also gives more spells per day".

Now, yes, the 2e cleric had that, but they were also built with it in mind, and had less spells to start with to compensate.
>>
>>51025088
Game design has changed for the better. Giving the casters more spell slots lets them actually play their character abilities. Very few people want to play the guy that goes "Should I use my only spell now? We still have 14 hours left of exploring to do today."

Tell everyone about your last game, /pfg/. My group just got done fighting some kind of Kudzu Dryad that had been terrorizing a local village. >>
>>51025112
You are parroting the idiots that wrote to TSR.
The problem comes with what you see in 3.PF, where you have a lot of potential power, and plenty of ways to skirt the limits of that power, but the overall power was not brought down to compensate for the newly relaxed limits.

Holomog is a sloppy East Garundi kingdom where Somalia should be, but is actually a divine matriarchy ran by women (or people who identify as women) who speak to the Elementals or whatever from the fancy throne. It's a blatant wish-fulfillment fantasy made by Crystal, mostly because it's a faultless kingdom that's done nothing wrong.

I have no clue what a holomog is, but Milani is the CG goddess of hope and VIVA LA REVOLUTION and stuff like that. She's basically meant to have CG clerics that don't have to be alcoholics (Cayden Cailean) or damned dirty hippies (Desna).

Holomog is Crystal Frazier's "contribution" to Golarion, a matriarchy where any man who tries to sit in the throne dies, and where everyone is so enlightened that they can worship Asmodeus as a force of law, not of evil.

Milani is the CG goddess of freedom and revolution, and an example of a few Paizo devs just pushing their own beliefs. What could have been an interesting take on the differences between freedom fighters and terrorists turned into Paizo Approved Spunky CG Rebels Power Hour.

So I have been looking into goblinoids again.

Color Thief is a really interesting trait, and I realized it should be expanded upon. If some goblins naturally absorb colors it'd be a perfect for a UC Rogue archetype that has some minor illusion abilities.

Another grouping of traits seem to center around weird physical features. Larger head, ears, a lot of boils, or being hilariously ugly. This got me thinking of what class could convey the strange physical oddities of the goblin in a racial archetype. Unfortunately alchemist is the only one that really fits, and it already had two goblin racial archetypes.

The last would be a Skald archetype. Goblins have firedrums, which fit well, and a trait for "Exceedingly rude songs".

Now for hobgoblin racial archetypes. What I am surprised about is the fact there is no hobgoblin fighter archetype that makes heavy use of teamwork feats. It makes sense to have one, a battle commander. Likely allowing one to take teamwork feats instead of bonus combat feats, and replace armor training with imparting them to nearby allies.

Another I conceived of is a hobgoblin brawler archetype, based on hobgoblin infiltrators for areas that do not allow weapons. It'd be a stealthy brawler that receives a number of rogue talents. Perhaps sneak attack as well.

Finally on the hobgoblin racial archetype side a Siege Engineer Investigator (or perhaps alchemist). Someone specialized in siege weaponry for one of those classes.

Just some thoughts for the Book of Goblinoids.
>>
>>51025147
The stormwind-type went full-trigglypuff.

>I said I'm doing this alone stop telling me how to play
she bitched to the actual sneaky guy in the party as he told her to at least take him with her after she insisted on scouting ahead while everyone rests up.

>That's not fucking fair, why do you always do this to me
She bitched at the GM, after he gave her a chance to turn back unnoticed seeing the big winged angel with the even bigger bow patrolling two floors up

>Make him stop
she bitched YET AGAIN after her constant refusal to ever touch or use anything other than two short-swords in melee - not even attempt to throw them ever - caused her to get peppered with arrows from high up in the cathedral, as she stood there screaming at it to come down and fight her like a man.

The words "I'm not some obsessed minmaxer like you guys" *actually* came out of that mouth, to the guy playing an armorist of all fucking things.

I couldn't believe it, I've never seen anything like it, and I'm pretty sure someone's been getting head because she's still there and now the armorist got kicked for breaking the game.

In other news I'm applying to games here, and maybe if I cool down before saturday I'll feel like giving a heads-up instead of just quitting like an asshole, because right now it certainly feels like the right thing to do.

How the fuck are you supposed to find a level 2 goblin alchemist?

Dex: 22 +4 (with mutagen) + 2 (reduce person) = 28

2 (ranks) + 3 (class skill) + 9 (dex) + 8 (size) + 4 (racial) + 2 (color thief) + 4 (chameleon skin) = +32

It's the system mastery threshold. Witches have lower ceilings than wizards and clerics, but they're a lot more forgiving to players who can't/don't take the time to optimize their spell lists. So anyone with low to middling system mastery is probably going to feel like the witch is really strong, while anyone with high system mastery or who frequents optimization boards is going to see it as very limited.

It depends on the region and the plot.

If Sun Orchid Elixir can make you live for a really extended time, functionally "forever" if you keep taking it, would some cultures consider it blasphemous?

I could see an Ulfen warrior, for instance, having his reputation and honor utterly demolished if he was found with some--after all, it's unmanly to try and live that long.
>>
>>51026356
>>51026383
>>51026401
I actually liked Final Fantasy VIII a bit, mostly because I like playing gunslingers. Overall, my favorite sort of campaign is operating operators operating operationally. What location would be best for that? My money's on Alkenstar.
>>
>>51026464
It just extends your lifespan, it doesn't make you immune to death from non-age related causes, right? I don't think Ulfens would have a problem with it as long as the individual was simply using it to extend his run as a champion of the people. It could even be the kind of thing where the reigning chief or warleader is provided with Sun Orchid Elixir as long as he can hold the position and defeat any challengers looking to unseat him. Pharasmans might be more offput by it though since it would be a rejection of the natural cycle similar to undeath in purpose if not execution.
>>
>>51026464

The point of Sun Orchid Elixir is it's universally loved as a valuable and very useful substance to keep yourself alive "naturally."

An Ulfen Warrior would find the Elixir a source of great prestige, since it's expensive as all hell and someone who could afford that is obviously a successful raider or trader. The Ulfen by and large aren't prone to deny something because it's "improper," they think magic is a woman's tool yet they don't have any issue with it because hey, if you can do it you should use it.
>>
>>51026507
Depends on if by that you mean "do they have guns" or "are they professional, efficient, and well-equipped".
In the former case, yes. In the latter, possibly Cheliax, Molthune, maybe Andoran as their covert branch of the Eagle Knights or Taldor's Lion Blades.
>>
>>51026507
Operators? You want one of the Lake Encarthan powers, that's Andoran, Druma, Molthune. Andoran is 'merica, in that they're the only functioning democracy in the Inner Sea region, Druma is a corporate bureaucracy that's run by a bunch of Scientologists, and Molthune is developing Imperial Rome set a few thousand years in the future.
>>
>>51026528
Both are nice, but I prefer the latter. If I absolutely needed guns, I'd just play Ops and Tactics or S.Q.U.A.T.S. I'll take those latter three into consideration for a later campaign, although considering my group's preference for other settings I'd have to DM myself.
>>
>>51026065
T1: Wizard. I really love battlefield control magic and their list is the best for it.
T2: Psion. I really love using psionics, and Psions do the most of it, what else?
T3: Inquisitor? I enjoyed playing the class more as a great representation of monster-hunting abilities, but if forced to play by default fluff I would seriously just play something else.
T4: Barbarian. What can I say, it got more fun and interactive with rage powers.
T5: Does Ranger fit here? It's pure garbage but I wish it were better. Its 3.5 selection of alternate options was basically build-a-custom-class so it's hard to come down from that.
>>
>>51026288
Pretty much this. We see other examples with psionics (higher blasting floor but lower iswizards ceiling), PoW, SoP and so on. A well used vancian prepared caster is the top of the line, but for anyone who fills all except two of their low level slots per day with nothing but various metas of ol'Fireball?

>>
>>51026733

>>
>>51026464

To describe how innocuous and enjoyed the Elixir is, consider the Ruby Prince consumes it (the leader of a kingdom that has literally zero fears of death) and the Queen of Mendev does too, a woman who is by all accounts a zealous and religious woman.

The Elixir is a natural, healthy way to extend your lifespan and turn back the clock, the only people who might take issue with it are Pharasman radicals and certain tribes that couldn't afford it anyway.
>>
>>51026765
Initiating makes guns better.

Also guns get more dangerous the more attacks you have because misfire. A high level gunslinger can have up to 9 attacks with two pistols.

This means that his misfire chance is 37% each full attack (misfiring on a 1). Shit is dangerous.

NOT FLUFFY
>>
Posting again for thoughts. So I am taking breaks from writing other homebrew to write an AP. After asking everyone here people seem to love the idea of revolution.

Now here comes the issue, how large of a city should one make? I have decided to focus the revolution on a single city, at least for the first half of the AP. The city itself needs to be detailed, to feel lively. I plan on making an actual in game system to taking streets/securing territory in block to block city warfare.

The campaign itself will be centered around the Bright and Glorious Revolution of Corkheel Square. Which began as a mass execution by firing squad and became, through possibly divine providence (or at least some claim it as such), a rising up of the oppressed. The revolution itself will be somewhere between the French Revolution and the Rise of the Bolshevik in theme. You are at the center of the people's council.

Now one of the center points I envisioned is a quite literal tree of revolution. At the center of corkheel the supposed symbol of divine providence is a tree that was not there weeks before. A massive trunk with branches reaching towards the sky and roots that crack the cobbles. Bluebloods have been tied by their feet to the branches and their throats cut so their blood may feed the fledgling nation. Indeed some who were at the mass execution said that one of those who died began to twist and grow into the mighty tree.

So the game would include taking streets/strategic locations/negotiating with other nations to be recognized/killing nobility/uncovering the hidden horrors of the city.

The game would have the main themes of Revolution, Criminal Intrigue, Horror, Mythos, and Body Horror. The players would be part of an investigatory and disciplinary branch of the People's Council likely.

Not only would you seek to crush the blue bloods but see that your faction, among the many vying for control of the Corkheel revolution, comes out on top.

Mostly the Mage archetype just locks you into some specific build pieces rather than adding anything new. If you want those things, you don't need Mage to get them, so it doesn't offer anything of much use.

If you don't plan to use incanter specializations much and don't mind the tradition it picks out for you though, it does offer a few perks. Kinda limiting though.

Tiers shouldn't matter hugely for playing a game. Though the gaps between builds get far wider with gestalt. A monk/gunslinger will be shit on hugely compared to a warder/wizard.

To me, tiers are a general term, not anything to take as law. As a designer, they're helpful for gauging power levels, especially if I want to work in a certain 'tier space.' And remember, they're only guidelines at most.

Arcanist, though let me just say that I fucking HATE everything the class stands for, it's just the T1 class I would have the most fun with, if I played them.

TFW you're the only one who roleplays consistently, does things for flavor, and comes up with the plans...
...but the GM just sees you roll low a few times and never stops going "you just a fuccboi"
>>
>>51027208
Wrong. T6 is total incompetence(like NPC classes bar adept), t5 is being competent at one thing and useless at everything else(like base fighter: you can deal damage just fine if you have any idea what you're doing. You just can't do much else), t4 is either being GREAT at one thing or being competent at one thing and having some extra versatility(like Barbarian being great at dealing damage, or Ranger being competent at dealing damage and having decent amount of utility from spells otherwise), and t3 is being competent at multiple things as well as having wide range of options.
>>
>>51027198
>>51027212
Tiers aren't law, they're just a vague idea of what a class is capable of on average. Or at least it's something to that effect. It's nothing set in stone, and if you bitch about minmaxing

>>51027250
>Promethean/Preservationist

I want this meme to go, Preservationist is an upgrade because it's +versatility, but it cannot carry the Promethean Alchemist archetype.

Back in 3.5 they were though, thanks to the sheer number of spells they could pilfer from, the fact that Familiars could be arguably-better, and that there was a bunch of PrCs (most notably Hexer and Sovereign Speaker) that Adepts could actually easily grab.

>Tier 1
Druid. Between Wild Shape, Spontaneous Summoning, and 9th level casting, it seems like you can really build for anything, and I love that you can't make a viable Druid that does everything at once.
>Tier 2
Sorcerer. The full power of the Sorc/Wiz spell list condensed into a spontaneous caster. I suppose it's the same as above, where I like having to make a decision about what I want the character to be able to do. Plus Bloodlines 2good
>Tier 3
Alchemist, no contest. There's a pattern here, so many options, so many different ways to build.
>Tier 4
Paladin. LG is the best alignment, and well-played Paladins are the best JUSTICE dispensers
>Tier 5
Is the Fighter still Tier 5 with AMH/WMH? I feel like he isn't, but I've always liked archetype stacking. If not, then Samurai, because mounted archery is the bomb dot com
>Tier 6
Aristocrat. Best quest giver class. I usually build important NPCs with levels in aristocrat just because it's so simple
>>
Only commoner is tier 6 since it gets literally nothing.

Warrior is 5. It has a job and is kinda okay at it but also kinda meh.

Looking into it briefly the population of Paris during the French Revolution was approximately 700,000. During the Bolshevik Revolution the population of Moscow was 1.8 million.

So taking these together we have an average of around 1.25 million individuals. An absolute sea of humanity, and other races.

The planned city was named Desmon, and I have the following districts planned:
>Corkheel
District devoted to the working poor. Just down river of the Canker Harbor where the water has been polluted heavily by the tanning, canning, and meat packing industries.
>The Canker Harbor
Combination of poorer vessels not wanted in The Blue Harbor and the military harbor. The Canker Boys form the naval arm of Desmon's military. This harbor is dominated by warehouses.
>The Swill
Farther down river from Corkheel is the destitute poor. This enormous essentially shanty town covers the land. The entire area is prone to flooding. The often ankle deep river slime gives the district its name.
>The Blue Harbor
Rich harbor for merchant ships and foreign ships. It is housed in its own lagoon removed from the river, the water filtered clean.
>Desmon's Rise
The land of the fabulously wealthy, the rich of Desmon. The land is expensive, but packed with parks, theatre, and other high end entertainment.
>Downspout
Middleclass lands, named for the face they support the water cleaning industry for the Blue Harbor.
>Howler's Keep
A massive pot bellied fortress on the hill overlooking the narrow harbor entrance. This doubles as a prison for numerous strange and magical prisoners.
>Bilt Corner
Area between the Canker Harbor and Downspout, namely filled with the Biltian College of Mortal Sciences. The industry in this area is namely devoted to supported the college.
>Steel Street
A single long and wide street, plus the area around it. The street runs from the Biltian College to Howler's Keep. Blooming from both sides is numerous artisans.

>>51027453
No, because vanilla fighter is a straight upgrade to warrior, and it's tier 5. Tier 5 is you have either one thing you are good at, or a few things that you are mediocre to poor at and nothing you're good at.

Tier 4 is you have one thing you're great at and a few things you can sometimes do, or a few things you're decent at.

Tier 3 is you have one thing you're great at, and a few options you're decent at, or being good at everything but not great at everything.

Tier 2 is you have access to potentially campaign breaking abilities, but in a rather limited way, or at the expense of other things.

Tier 1 is you have very versatile access to campaign breaking abilities, or a way to simply replace other party members entirely.

>>
>>51027554
>Crow's Bend
On the opposite side of the river this district one of the less savory red light districts. The industry here is supported by Howler Keep's flesh warpers.
>High Square
On the corner of Steel Street and Desmon's Walk (which heads into Desmon's Rise) is an increasingly expensive series of shops and artisans. This contrasts the more working class steel street artisans.
>Burel's Walk
This district is dominated by numerous temples. Most to the various saints of the local religion, each often with their own statue. Only two large religions have a foothold in Desmon. Though numerous saints, spirits, and other forces are venerated towards both religious faiths.
>Gutbood
A failed attempt at a train line heading south through the marshes. Some 2 miles out of the city a small community is centered around the last proposed station. These are namely outcasts, the diseased, drug addicts, and other undesirables.
>Salt/Smoke/Silt Towers
These three towers stretch across the harbor at a regular interval. They form the defense in case the city is invaded by sea. Massive cranks can pull up an iron net to block off the city entirely from the sea.
>The Gardens
A massive park inside the city, open to the public for more than a century as "a show of good faith"
>Founder's Palace
At the center of the Gardens the palace of the current Nawab of Desmon. The structure has impossible architecture, only held together by magic. Spires as thin as spindles and floating platforms create a beautiful and strange structure.

These are probably not enough. I'll need others, but it's a start.

T3 - Alchemist. A stupidly fun class with some stupidly fun ways to make it work.
T4 - Paladin. Tough, easy to build, and being the good guy is fun.
T5 - Brawler. I usually use an archetype, so maybe I'm cheating with my T4 picks, but there's something nice about punching your problems away.

Likely there would have to be quite a few more districts as everything becomes filled out. If the city has a population of 1.2 million those districts have to hold quite a lot of people. There need to be more separated residential districts, because right now there is basically one for each social class.

I'm likely to add a governmental building district as well.

Thank you though. Honestly first I think I need to draw a city map and work from there. The sub system I am thinking of is a highly abstracted one with essentially this:
>strength of the revolution (don't let it hit 0)
>strength of various factions in the revolution

When certain thresholds are reached by factions events will trigger. Or when the revolution itself reaches a certain strength. Based on character actions the various factions will go up or down. As well I'd probably have to include guidelines for non-by the book actions and how to price them.

>>
>>51028034

One is deliberate the other just sounds cool.
>>
>>51027988
Wait, that one sounds familiar.
>>
>>51028127
First of all you need to determine how common magic is. What level of caster is walking about in the world. How many of them are there.

If there are only 100 level 10 wizards in the world, and none above level 14 then the setting doesn't care as much about magic simply because there aren't enough spell slots to change the setting as a whole unless the wizards are purposefully exploiting in game rules.

If magic is common and every big city has a level 20 wizard then likely many things will simply be done by magic.

Food, transportation, health, and more can simply be done by magic if magic is very common.

I actually made an ooze based race before, but in reality there were at their core a flatworm colony surrounded by bacteria filled mucus that could be controlled/contracted/etc. by electrical impulses the flatworm colony produced. The flatworms lived in a communal mind with numerous small entities working together. Maturity for the species was essentially the point where one of the many personalities became dominant over the others.

It would irritate the skin of most humanoids if you touched the slime barehanded. The flatworms themselves also sustained themselves on a diet of essentially any organic matter, engulfing and processing it.

Communication was hard as the oozes did not vocalize to each other but rather vibrated surfaces to communicate via tremor sense. To communicate with vocalizing races they would use a special horn which they would vibrate to produce sound. Very skilled ones could create tinny gargled speech. Unskilled relied on clicks and beeps to form a code.

Fredericka, The Import Merchant.

There often comes a time in The Demesne that the citizens simply cannot make do with what they have and must buy something from the outside. That's where Fredericka comes in. Federericka has made it her job to travel the known world and purchase the exotic needs and wants that The Demesne simply cannot produce on its own.

From Samoflanges, to a tome on griffon breeding techniques. If its odd and out of place, Fredericka can find it rather quickly. She's one of the few true merchants in the Demesne. While most people are content to trade favors, she demands precious gems for her merchandise. A requirement to procure the goods she buys, Though most suspect she uses the gems to splurge on foreign delicacies. Regardless, she plays a much needed role in the Ecosystem of The Demesne an nearly all of its inhabitants have called on her services at least once.

Pitching to see if anyone would be interested in a heist based game. The players would be contractors hired to steal high value objects, and given plenty of options as to how to go about it. Whether it's conning their way in to an art show to steal a gem, or infiltrating a noble's manor to steal a piece of art, or mugging a courier to get a missive, the solution would be left open ended. I have to figure a few things out, but at the moment I'm thinking; for setting, either Eberron and have it centered in Sharn, or Golarion and centered in Katapesh. For chargen, 25 PB, level 5/6 start, 1pp/DSP/SoP/Jolly/Forrest, possibly requiring casters to use their corresponding sphere archetypes.

I realize that it's a bit gauche to stir up more campaign shilling, given what's been happening lately, but I just want to see if anyone here has thoughts on the idea.

I've been playing lots of Satellite Reign and I'm planning the same thing tbqh
>>
>>51029662

I would play heist game. Jolly was talking about running a thieves guild game and I thought that was pretty neat.
>>
>>51029662
This sounds neat.

But what about stealing hearts?

Throw up a campaign on roll20 and watch apps roll in. Alternatively throw up an email, discord server or your choice of communication.

About 3-4 people have suggested interest from previous threads.

>1pp/DSP/SoP/Jolly/Forrest, possibly requiring casters to use their corresponding sphere archetypes.

Please no, let's try 1pp/Jolly/Forrest only.
>>
>>51029662
Sounds pretty good honestly, it would give a lot of the weirder archetypes and abilities some use so you could go Ocean's 11 with dumb shit nobody would normally use.

Like Poisons. Remember those? You could send a poison-laced letter with a time-delay that picks up right when you plan to start, or that Alchemist archetype from Villain Codex that specializes in busting through walls, or the Slayer/Vigilante archetypes that specialize in removing evidence from crime scenes.

This art triggers me.

Not because she's obese, either.

This art triggers me because it somehow reminds me if furry art. Cartoon furries, not the cute furries from my taiwanese hand puppet dramas.

that's... a leap of logic i don't see.

Liaoxen'tu

Even in a place as secluded as The Demesne, there is violence. However, only when liqour is involved does violence erupt outside of structured conventions.

Carved within the caveren side, is The Queen's Forum. It is a place where the Demesne's citizens argue, see plays and music, and where all duels are held.

The organizer, and self professed dutchess, of all combat arena functions is Liaoxen'tu. She organizes all combat within the arena, Making sure all bouts within have clearly defined rules and fairness is kept. However she loves a good slobber knocker most of all and makes it a point to train the participants duels between typically non-combatant citizens. She often sneaks in stipulations to make fights more exciting. Like fire, tight ropes, sharks, and blindfolds.

I had an aunt who was roughly those proportions.
You know what she did?

When she was 40, she accidentally went down two steps instead of just one step down the stairs. F=MA snapped her ankle on impact.

Something that even walks between towns - let alone keeps themselves in the kind of shape you need to do any sort of combat or adventuring - would never end up that fat. She is THAT sedentary. Forget getting material components either, and even somatics beyond finger-movements themselves will fuck up.

You don't fucking adventure when you look like that; you don't even leave the couch that's fused to your fat ass.
>>
>>51030116

She doesn't adventure, she travels and merchants.

Probably from her magic segway

So does anybody know anything about Pathfinder RPG: Adventure Path - #115 Trail of the Hunted (Ironfang Invasion 1 of 6)? Any reviews of copies that might be floating around, etc?

I like the look of it, but it is a chunk of change to buy of course.
