The Adeptus Mechanicus doesn't just hate aliens, they hate everything aliens make. If it ain't made by human hands, it's a perversion of the Machine God.

Xenos technology lacks the machine spirit and (in many cases) is literal silica animus.

Hate is irrelevant, or is simply taken for granted inasmuch as is required of us in our duty to the Omnissiah. I'm haven't really gotten into kill team yet so im not sure how it differs from normal games, but Skitarii do worse in lower point games generally so watch out for that.
