2000 points of alpha legion with a iron warrior CAD , the terminators get to run around with the mindveils, whilst the soc throws out heritek spells and, using the Cranium Mavolosum to pop tanks

I saw on some forums that people were discussing the use of forgeworld models in gw formations, as a tau player, I was curious as they mentioned that forgeworld allowed for the following substitutions:
XV104 for xv109
Storm surge for xv107
Tetras for piranha
There was one or two more I forgot xv9 for xv8 bodyguards.
Anyone know of this is true and/or supply a link or screenshot to the email/message from forgeworld.
Also a technical question:
The formation drone net v-x-2-0 states that as long as 2 of the units of drones are still alive, all drones get +1 ballistic skill, does this apply to remora drones?

Love it. Few questions - why not daemon of tzeench or nurgle on your prince? They would be more durable. Is dimension key really so useful for your army? The turrets are cool and work with iron warriors fluff and rules, but how will you avoid them being baited due to automated fire? What purpose do the 2 bolter holding chaos marine squads have? Why not just take it all in a cad and avoid them and the terminators and maybe the raptors and take obliter-troops and then a bunch of decent units like havocs and bikers and rapier batteries etc?

Anyway I can't decide what to build my squad with, Should I just go plasma? Are heavy bolsters okay? Im building night lords and want to have a list thats somewhat fluffy and fun to play,

My current army (Death Guard) are perfect for what I want from an army, and they don't play like anyone else, but I'm just having a big attack of Grass Is Greener.

So I recently learned that Codex: Genestealer Cults was released in October.

I'm a huge genestealer fan, but I am a bit disappointed in how GW tries too hard to make the cults evil. The cults exist solely to prepare planets to be eaten but believe they are being whisked away to heaven. That's scary enough. But GW adds in nonsense about the cultists merely being mind controlled and chickening out at the end, which makes no sense to me.

I like to portray gs cults as Christianity. They endorse family values and believe Jesus will arrive to usher the Apocalypse. Everyone is indoctrined into being nice people who await the Rapture. Yes this is insane, but this is what Christians believe and adding in stealers as a literal religion virus straight out of Richard Dawkin's nightmares doesn't change that. It also helps that the Imperium is horrible to the point where being eaten first sounds attractive.

In order for it to be a spectacle, though, it has to be seen. "Mediocre," is one possible response to a witnessing, and is not a response one wants to receive.
