Fuck you man. Apocalypse world is a great middle finger to overcomplicated RPGs.
Dungeon world and its kin are shit thought.

>It's a great middle finger to overcomplicated RPGs.
That's great and all but it seems like they failed to be a good RPG in the process. I'm going with OP here.

Apocalypse world is one of my favourite systems, and while it has some stupid flaws that hopefully will be fixed in 2nd edition I think you being a bit harsh.
You are not limited by pre-written moves you describe want your doing until late it triggers a move then you roll, iron what your doing dosent trigger a move you don't roll you just do it.
Not all the classes abilities are useless the Brainer can become a being which kills with a look or touch. But a lot of them are a bit too specific or trash
Leveling up isn't that bad it just requires a bit of thought, like what other class moves synergisee best with my own.
I do agree about the rolls being a to easy
Just call the GM/DM/MC whatever you want it literally dosent matter.
Most weapons are strong enough to out right kill npcs so it dosent really matter.
What's the problem with identical health it fits the system.
Stat names don't bother me but I do think they are a bit edge.
Barter is just a meta name for anything valuable your character has picked up, your Barter could just be golden Shrek figures, or bottles of water.
There is one rule per class for whathe sex accomplishes and it's usually just a buffet if some kind.
It's not a bad system, and it's not perfect but it is fun if you just want to fuck shit up in a post apocalypse land and don't care too much about edge words.

Oh and player goals can be up to the player or the DM can do his job and give them shit to do.
Also it's an easy to get new players into RPG's becuase the rolls are easy to understand and most of it is narrative

Nice one, friend.

Okay, I'll take the bait.
>Rulebook dripping with pretension.
Yeah, and? Style doesn't affect rules.
>Limited in what you can do based on prewritten 'moves' like you're a fucking pokemon.
You're not limited, though. Anyone can drive, have a gang, or rule over a settlement. The guys with appropriate playbooks do it better.
>Classes all have useless abilities.
I disagree, however, I also want to know more about why do you think so.
>Players have to make their own goals.
Well, that's how almost every roleplaying game works, no?
>Leveling Up is garbage.
Once again, you have to be more specific.
>60% chance of success on unmodified rolls.
You're not supposed to roll every five minutes like in DnD. It's sort of a trade off.
>GM changed to MC.
...I know this is bait, but you're trying too hard.
>Weapons do a set damage.
And?
>Everyone has identical Health.
And?
>Stats are Cool, Hot, Hard and Weird.
And? Those are literally just Willpower, Charisma, Strength, and Magic, but with different names.
>"barter" is a fucking joke.
I dunno, many post-apoc games tend to call currency something like "scrap" or "spare parts", especially if it doubles as repair materials.
>More rules for sex than combat
You're wrong, both are pretty minimalistic.

I feel like you fundamentally misunderstand Apocalypse World, possibly intentionally. You seem to hate it for doing the things that it wants to do.
