MAPS MAPS MAPS....
I NEED A MAP, SPECIFICALLY A MAP OF A LARGE, LATE MEDIEVAL MANOR/MANSION
I'M GOING TO PUT IT ON A CLIFF OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN BUT I NEED A REASONABLY LARGE MAP OF THE PLACE.
IN THE MEAN TIME I WILL DUMP MAPS
THIS ONE MAY CALL ITSELF A MANSION BUT IT ISN'T WHAT I NEED
Just draw one yourself.
>>50878399
NOT GOOD ENOUGH AT IT.
>>50878415
It doesn't have to be if you're the only one to use it and if the players are going to see it, it can be easily justified.
>the architect who designed the manor has fallen under hard times, now spends most of his time drunk on cheapest rat's piss available in the city and drew the map out of his memory in return of couple bottles of moonshine
>>50878471
...the party is inheriting the manor...
a map is a thing I will need because they will want it...

AND FOR THE ROOFTOP FETISHISTS...

There's some map packs in my Roll20 token trove so you can build your own.

Thanks for all the maps, but this one is pretty shit even if you whip out 'a wizard did it'.
Nobody builds underground where there's water. We literally had the industrial revolution so people could dig mines below the water table and use engines to pump out water that constantly flooded.
Anyone know a good random map generator for outside/wilderness type maps? I am trying to run a squad based homebrew but cannot come up with decent enough maps for it.
why don't you make your own maps,
http://www.mapeditor.org/
There's even a tons of decent tutorials out there

no roshan pit, 0/10
I had an idea for an adventure that required a map of a mansion.
It got stalled because, although I can make maps, I know back shit about mansions.
Then I got distracted by something shiny.
>>50884241
Back shit.
Yes exactly.
Not jack shit.
Back shit.
Fuck my phone.
>>50884269
>>50878399
Fuck that place, jesus fuck that was a ball busting map
>>50887023
you played it?
whats it like?
is there a second floor that isn't depicted?
>>50878308
So something like Foxglove Manor?
>>50887176
that actually looks really good for what I need...
I'll probably redo the surrounding geography a little, but otherwise thats FANTASTIC
>>50880447
A wizard did it you nerfherding dongeater
>>50887254
Its from the Rise of the Runelords D&D campaign. But you are welcome.
>>50880447
actually, the implication I use here is that it was "very excellently sealed"
side quest was to clear it out BECAUSE it is also a safe place to manufacture explosives and really hazardous chemicals...the whole island was a wizards home, but now all thats left is the basements
>>50887381
which edition so I know where to start looking?
>>50878456
school shooting dungeon crawl?
>>50887054
It is just a 3 floor mansion, pretty tame after half-a-dozen city blocks+a heavily guarded skyscraper that one of the earlier levels threw at you.

>>50894231
>>50894307
I spent 2 hours looking for this one...
>>50888321
Well if the Romans could do it I'm sure a wizard could.
>>50878399
why do people poo in the garden?
>>50878308
fuck my maptools manor map is half finished, but big enough that i cut it short after 4 sessions because they hadn't yet made it past the first floor. I should finish it sometime.
>>50878308
Any more sewers?
>>50893649
Even sloppy assholes don't leave cargo unsecured. If it can shift with the ship's motion it fucks with the balance and can do Bad Things. Everything in the hold would be roped in place.
>>50908161
I'm willing to bet that the guy just ball-parked what he thought a ship should look like on the inside
>>50878399
>no master bedroom
Tha fuck?
>>50878478
If the vault is meant to be the most secure place, why is it right next to the main entrance?
>>50908879
depends on which definition you mean by "vault"
in architecture it just means a room with a ceiling made from a round or continuous arch...
that and RPG map-makers aren't always the brightest candles in the chandelier
>>50878672
Are those fireplaces or arrow slit?
I'm pretty sure they're fireplaces. Why are there no arrow slits?
>>50909136
fireplaces.
no arrow loops because it's not a fortress...it appears to be a commune of some kind.
>>50908879
>>50908934
Fixed
>>50878456
That would be cool for SWAT/Terrorist based tactical gaming.
>>50909677
if you're curious I have a bunch of modern-urban maps, look like the same artist or the same map-set
if you're the sort to do some Urban Warfare games...

These are great, thanks anon, I'd definitely be interested in more. For an urban fantasy game, not a school shooting simulator
>>50909883
now I've had a shower and some Pb&J...SURE
not the same style, but have this small Vetrinarians office
>emergency drop pods
"in case of fire, prepare to shit pants..."
a lovely middle-class civillian residence here...
>who has a family room AND a livingroom?
This is all great, thanks based egg-laying marsupial!
>>50910033
sure thing...though >>50910034 is my last modern map
and it's more of a "how to fort-up a house" than a real map...
Humbly requesting Forgotten Realms Atlas Project Book One and Forgotten Realms Atlas Project Book Two.
Thank you in advance!
Thanks, Mono. Some nice ones here.
Most maps seem to be made by basement dwellers who have never set foot outside their house, and I'm talking about the ones getting paid for it. Their work might look pretty, but they are clueless about the content.
>>50878456
>only route between the changing rooms and the pool goes straight through the coach's office
This always makes me laugh. That coach must just love having 40+ dripping wet teenagers trudging through their office two feet from their work desk.
Got any that would work well as a monk temple in the mountains?
>>50912425
>>50912823
>>50912425
alternatively, if you want a single structure
>>50912132
>Three floors in picture
>Two floors in plan
Why?
>>50878324
It's spelled "forecastle" and only pronounced "fo'c'sle."
This kills me inside a little bit.
>>50914211
Like seeing bosun written down.
>>50912282
it was like that in my old school...supposedly so the coach could be aware or more aware of any "sinful indiscretion" in the locker rooms
