That's because this is what Poots has said. According to Poots, all of the planned expansions have been revealed. All that is left are any unplanned expansions, of which we only know of Satan.

There is no reason to believe that Oblivion Mosquito replaces the Antelope like Spidicules does.

You can fight the Black Knight multiple times, but you can only kill him once. It's actually likely that he escapes the first couple of times you fight him. No word on what effect this has on rewards for the fight.

I'm with you on it being dumb for the Black Knight to not have tactics, though.

It finally happened, guys. It took a lot of prep work, but I made it happen.

Nothing can actually stop the kicklock if he gets it as his last two cards. The headband can give you one round to get rid of one of the cards, but if you happen to roll badly then you're fucked. Actually, no. Your survivors get ora ora'd until you're all knocked down, at which point you're no longer threats and kick goes to Menace twice and his turn ends.

Of course, then you're all knocked down, so a whole turn passes by unless you've got someone with F&T spec to stand up and start encouraging people. So then you go to the next monster phase where he does two more menaces, and then you finally get another turn after standing up.

Only if it does damage. And keep in mind it's a normal priority target token, not a permanent one, so it goes away each time a target is selected. But, good catch.

So once someone is knocked down, they just need a Kick to happen where all the attacks miss. Not terribly hard if you've got some evasion and grease on. Then he proceeds to kick the next person. Once everyone is knocked down, the next Kick that fully whiffs ends the rampage.

It's... still not good, but it's not absolute instant death.

If you play exactly 1 showdown per week, taking a full year for the base game sounds about right. About 2 failures around the mid point before you finally succeed is par for the course but I wouldn't know because my group is WEAK and the level 1 butcher crushed their will to play ever again, so I mostly just sit here playing with myself

Sunstalker is much longer. I've heard of people losing it, but never heard of anyone losing before year 20, so if that one follows the pattern of 33% completion rate, it would take more than a year.

As far as actual playtime, a single successful campaign currently takes over 50 hours to complete.

Another kickstarter game. It's supposedly shipping right now. It's basically Descent: Legacy. It's a dungeon crawler where you use cards to represent your abilities, upgrade your deck with stickers, your character has a unique goal that can be completed once ever with that copy of the game, after which the character retires and more content is unlocked, but future characters of that class still keep the sticker upgrades to the deck.

The selection of available missions, gear, technologies, and events increase as you progress through the game, and it takes like 50 game sessions to actually unlock everything. Seems like a great fit for a Kingdom Death reskin.

I think Mage Company uses thicker, heavier material, the Swan Standard sleeves are pretty thin.
But since gear cards aren't shuffled or anything like that they work just fine.

For the AI and Hit location cards I used Swan Premium Sleeves, which are considerably heavier.

The scifi flower knight is a really cool model and I think one of the cleanest builds I've done with KD figures. There were almost no mold lines whatsoever and only a few scraps of flash to be removed. Even the sword was almost perfectly straight, though I soaked it in hot water just to be sure. The only thing annoying was placing the vines on the skirt/cape.

I've been looking to get a white knight or a savior year 20 but I haven't found one, so I'll probably start this guy next.

Played some KD on christmas eve.

After the first fight we got some good Lion resources but wanted to save most of them for the Catarium. We only build Darts for the dude who used his stone and a couple headbands.

During the hunt we get lion cub and all get +1 resource.
During the fight we get a few crits and get a few more resources.
After the fight we pull Testicles and a Cat eye. We also have a Mane and Whiskers. So after the first actual fight we can build a full rawhide set plus some more pieces, spear, bow and arrow, 2 greases, frenzy pot, harp, mantle or more hide.
On top of that we only lost 1 dudesman but used a second founding stone.

Pretty good haul for LY2 I thought.

I have one friend that I play the game at least two Saturdays a month with, and we played pretty much a year now.
Works pretty well, he survived the first rage-quit moments in our first run try, and we even were victorious in our second attempt, so now we are in high spirits for our first People of the Stars campaign.

What I am saying is, once you can get people over the dick moves of the game and concentrate more on enjoying the few awesome moments of the game like announcing criting a vital Hit Location and then actually getting it, you get pretty loyal players who will come back on their own.

First Hero is best if you just want the core game without the grind at the start of it. Overall it's the smallest addition, but with the biggest impact on how the game plays, because it's basically a replacement tutorial lion that starts you at Year 12 instead of 1.

Gryphon adds a new campaign, which puts it pretty high on the list by default.

Frogdog is a shitty model with a shitty concept, but will probably be the best expansion overall due to having 3 different armor sets it can make, and being a Node 1 monster.

I'm not sure what can be more meat and potatoes than a full on monster added to the chest. Literally it's a new nemesis you entitled shit. It's a whole expansion, probably including gear an events, included in what is already the most valuable add on if entirety meat and potatoes. Or are you just choosing to ignore all the gear, fighting arts, and scout system we were already getting?
