Conceptually it isn't even that funny

So I've mentioned this before (but got no respones) for the update to Hell Invasion (if I make it).

Would people like it if instead of picking premade weapons, you'd get to design the weapon yourself? Kind of like Morrowind spell making, you pick a type (Plasma, Slugthrower, Energy, Explosive, Melee, etc.) and pick effects under that type, with some universal effects. For example, Plasma may have fuel cells which produce hotter plasma, something that prevents it from locking up due to heat, or some other stuff.

I was also thinking of that for armour too, you design the armour yourself with certain origin specific and universal mods. There will be a set of mods that let you live permanently in your armour by cleaning you, removing waste, and injecting nutrients into you, for example.

Making gear to order sounds nice in theory, but it's hard to get right. Even when it is done right it's not guaranteed to give that much value entertainment-wise over the much easier premades.

August is a former executive trainee turned into the equivalent of an emergency riot cop. After awakening from his incredibly long slumber, he looked out across the station and found the idea the contaminants were allowed to go relatively unmolested was intolerable. The occupation of the Interlopers or even the malfunctioning of the security systems don't bother him, at least not with the infected roaming. His Arc Conductor and Microwave Blaster make him adept at dealing with all forms of infected, provided he has a few moments of concentrated fire, which is easy enough with the use of his Pheromone Diffusion. The unique combination of his executive pass and gendarmarie emblem means he has nearly unrestricted access to any part of the station, while the Disassembly Nanites and Utility Hatchet quickly grant him access to all other areas.

His first move his conquest of the infected is a trip to the Bridge with Albina, in order to reclaim control of the defense systems in the Medical Bay.

I'm leaning towards yes but since I never imagined the possibility I'm guessing it would require a massive full frontal attack on the bridge with full stationer support and several diversions across the entirety of the station to draw away attention before you move in to take it down before you have an android army descending on your position.

Basically I just wanna hunt down the contaminants, leaving the Interlopers and Security System to fight each other in the aftermath. I figure there would at least be some kind of security camera system on the Bridge that Albina can hack in to and give me remote viewing privileges for the MedBay (Something like a turret system would be even better). With those I can abuse the ability of the Microwave Blaster to kill the infected through walls. Alexei and Alise are there for backup in case Red Deaths or a Marquis appear. Being a medic and partnered with Alexei allows us to make a killing on the medical salvage we find. I'd hit up Irina on her offer of going full robotic and hybridizing with my suit so I can repair my cyberbody using the molecular fabricator in my suit when needed. By using probability computer as a base towards my cyberbrain implant, I could possibly mimic Irina's process and run a dual core processing system between my mind nad the supercomputer. As a doctor I would see if I could help Emi by either helping her go robo like myself to rid herself of the infection or at least be a friend that she wouldn't have to worry about infecting after going full metal. It's reasonably believable to say that an outworlder would have okay combat and okay repair skills without excelling either field like an engineer or combat specialist does. More than anything they're travellers and as such jack of all trades for whatever they need at the moment

As far as I imagined the nanites eat anything you order them to eat and create more nanites with the digested material, so you could feed them to the suit to produce materials, but I can't see why you'd do that when feeding it the raw materials achieves the same effect and doesn't require you waste nanites.

Deadspace 1 and 2 are absolutely perfect games in the horror/action genre and they do everything I tried to put down on gimp. By now any mildly good computer can run them no problem.

You have control over the mining facilities that you can rewire, at which point you can create whatever since you're an Engineer. Make your own version of the Security Bots, or just make a really huge gun and some magnetic boots. Walk the outside of the station with the boots and punch huge holes in the side of it, depressurizing the other decks.

You essentially nullify the Interlopers since they can't survive vacuum, leaving you against the Contaminant and the Security Bots. You're the only one who has the ability to gather more raw material for your 'soldiers', since the CYOA mentions the Security is having to cannibalize the station itself. All the biological material is dead so the infection is fucked as well. You can essentially overwhelm them with unlimited numbers.

Well I've never had either condition so I can't really speak about how severe they might be in comparison to frail but I'll consider both options when I modify it.

To be honest I was seriously considering giving the melded carna symbiote augment the specification that most contaminants other than chaotic maws and marquis no longer recognize you as human and therefore ignore you on the station but I'm unsure if that negates too much of the horror aspect of the station, I'm very much considering it.

As for the engineering suit, I don't want to make it fast since its already pretty fucking strong defense-wise (dissipates laser weaponry + extremely resistant to conventional firearms/explosions) and the awkwardness is the only thing pretty much stopping it from replacing the segmented mars plate. However I do agree that the repair drone doesn't make much sense in the scheme of things since electro-receptic eyes already makes you good at repairing and also has built in robo-detection functions. All of this leaves me with the conclusion that I should switch out repair drone for something else, maybe something that will aid movement but I'll be thinking on it to see how I balance things.

My greatest regret is that the eveready apparel looks so fucking aesthetic and I can't blame anyone for picking it. Though my personal choice is and always will be the caelus drags.

Thus, if you leave the dimension with the Chain still on, I think you're basically fucked with a dead collar on that you can never take off. That is, unless you bring both collars with you and you use it on someone in the same dimension.

I'm just trying to understand, because in some fiction when a person stays in an alternate dimension for two long it causes "problems." Destabilization of dimensional barriers, destructive dimensional interference, constructive dimensional interference, all kinds of feedback. Sometimes returning to your home dimension is the only responsible choice, and "Chains of Azeria" sound like the sort of dimensional anchors that are used by summoners. The link between the two, if established before the portal is opened, should be maintained between dimensions..

...but if not, I may need to invest in some sort of immortality that will allow me to avoid aging as I travel from the distant past to my own time in the "old fashioned way." If placed far in the future, my only hope of returning seems to be the vain one that someone in the future invents time-travel.

The OMIKRON Chip could help if I personally need to invent time-travel. However, I can't help wondering what might happen if it were installed in the pervert wizard. He or she says they can't find a way to get me home, and I have no reason not to believe them, but perhaps the person who gave it to him or her intended the pervert wizard to USE IT rather than giving to me as an apology. If I understand correctly, the wizard is re-gifting these items from the roommates.
