Well, I guess this can be used for explaining them and working out details to possibly give people a faction for scifi games.

General info is that Bords are a spacefaring race of bird-like aliens. Not much has been explained about them during Primordial Evo a few years back other than some tech and three main eras of their civilization after leaving their original solar system.
-First was the original interstellar empire's foundation. Utilizing generation ships Sort of like the one from WALL-e they've spread their species to various solar systems. Not much is known about this era other than their empire crumbled from being unable to maintain cultural unity among the colonies.
-Second empire overcame the fault that lead to the demise of the first through advanced technology, most notably nanorobotics and AI. During the time of this empire, they began to shift from generation vessels to sleeper ships.
I like to think that they figured out FTL communications, but that hasn't been discussed yet.
