Has anyone ever used something else's arm as a weapon before?
>>50781176
Yes.
>>50781176
I faintly recall you can wield a human arm as a weapon in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.
You can wield your own arm in Planescape: Torment.

Sam's sheath doesn't shoot bullets, it uses blanks and a piston to give him the world fastest Iaido style drawing cut. A few real world weapons use the same principle of a cartridge driving a piston for firing a bullet completely silently without a suppressor.

>having a firing cylinder that close to your face
Isn't there a risk of severe burns to your fingers if you hold a revolver incorrectly because of the INCREDIBLY HOT GASES escaping from the gap between the cylinder and the frame of the weapon?
I can't see the other side of the weapon in this webm, maybe it's covered on the right side, but still.
>>50783971
This is like some distant ancestor of the Bolter.

Either way, someone's going to clip it with a bullet and then you're going to be the world's most stylishly intimidating mess of chunky salsa.

Probably either covered on the other side like you said, or alternatively the cylinder works like the cylinder on a Nagant, i.e. it gets pressed against the barrel when you shoot, so a minimal amount of gas escapes.

>Not knowing Beowulf
You make me sad, anon.
Go play some Skullgirls, it's good.
>>50798271
I'm going to admit, it's been several years since I've read the book, but I've been under the impression that Beowulf made a trophy out of Grendel's arm, without actually using it as a weapon.
>>50798355
And you would be right. But the Beowulf in question is it's own version of the Skullgirls universe (which is a fighting game, go check it out), where he is a wrestler that fought, and won, Grendel in the ring. He also defeated his mom, who was watching and went mad with rage after seeing his son's defeat which, up until now, was undefeated champion of the Gigans.
Because a sword can never have too many handles.
>>50798444
I vaguely recall that Gigans in Skullgirls are horned folk two or three times the size of humans?
>>50798545
I wouldn't really know, they rarely talked about it in-game, but from what I can gather from researching, they come in a variety of sizes but the average is 15 feet.

how are you finding an intact katana-type blade like that in the post-post-apocalyptic wasteland of fallout?
>>50786093
>three separate feeds so it'll jam three times as often!
>>50799996
Originally, I recall the Shiskebab requiring a lawnmower blade for the sword. But the one in 4 is a modified Wakizashi, so maybe that particular one came from a war trophy of WW2?
>>50800289
Might have been a gunto blade which tended to be a bit shorter than the actual katana they were designed after. Those mass-produced swords were commonly given to soldiers mostly for ceremony. (Or so I really really hope.)
They were the most common swords American soldiers took as trophies after WWII
The grip seems to suggest it's legitimate blade blade, possibly one of the last ones in existence in the Fallout-verse.
>>50781176
in Morrowind, it was a leg and not an arm though...
>>50799996
>katana-type blade like that in the post-post-apocalyptic wasteland of fallout?
In Fallout 4 there's only one Shishkebab and it's a reward from a quest.
>>50786567
it seems to be a very tightly toleranced cylinder, or the cylinder had a protective cover on the people-face side
the Pancor Jackhammer was a bullpup revolver-shotgun and it was a solid and functional(if expensively complicated) design too...

>Trying to translate made up runes in a made up language from a soulsborne game.
That's because the runes in Bloodborne aren't actual runes, they are made up. They all have in-game meaning but outside that they are, ostensibly, gibberish. For instance the one that looks like the Bloodborne logo is the rune for 'hunter,' which is based on the image of the desecrated corpse of one of the first hunters to visit the fishing hamlet. If you play the DLC it is blatantly obvious because it's the first thing you see besides the lantern when you get there after killing Maria.
