alright, so i have a sort of problem, one of my players has so little enthusiasm for the game he has no interest in his character, no aspirations.
BUT when we get in game, he really lights up, he's happy he gets to play, and as a great time, but once we get out of game he could care less.
So I've been trying to grant his warlock (Anima Beyond Fantasy) some kind of gift but he doesn't know what he wants, he's got the most bland generic warlock there is.
Ive tried helping him develop the character but he doesn't care. I've offered him to roll up a new one, he doesn't want to. I've asked him what he wants as a free gift, he doesn't know.
What can i do?

Meh, just deal with it, Steve.
So you're upset because this player isn't emotionally invested in the game?

Give him a pet dragon.

Whatever You do, don't force character development upon him. It's the easyest way ti make him quit, And he's having a pretty good time in play.
He's just a casual tho, he doesn't want to think about the game all that much outside of It. Perhaps he's just busy.
Just give him a nice generic bonus.
self bump

oh nd to clarify, the party is getting a reward from a king for doing a good job, and each one is something the players wanted, the thief got a cloak of invisibility, the scientist gunslinger got a gun mod, and the paladin got new armor.
But this guy when asked, doesnt know what he wants cause he has no investment, so I'm looking for some generic ass shit to give a warlock i guess
