For those who don't know, Small Soldiers was a movie like toy story, but with gritty realism (Sorta). Toys were brought to life via A.I. chips, and did what their characters ideals were. They changed based on experience as well. My question for you all is, what would happen if miniatures for stuff like 40K and D&D had this sort of feature?
I think the most annoying thing about threads like these is how the OP assumes they're the first person to ask this question.

Better question: What if Small Soldiers got a miniatures wargame treatment?

I would actually like to hear more.

Nick Nitro splash damage is OP
Who even plays gorgonites?
What tandem bonus for Punchit and Scratchit? Eliminate one and the other is useless except as a meatwall and scout respectively

Kip Killigan covert ops force is a strong Commando Elite sublist, but it doesn't work without a little Link Static + Chip Hazard.

brick bazooka and nick nitro list to nuke em back to hell
interesting, link static is also necessary here to let them know where to drop bombs

I'd say the most annoying thing about threads like these is that there always seems to be a dedicated nay-sayer who's constantly checking /tg/ for threads that are NOT TEEGEE and then shitposting about them, rather than just ignoring them.

I've always wondered about how tabletop and war games would work in harry potter, seeing as they have wizards chess. It would be pretty cool watching an apocalypse game.

I think it'd be kinda like this, but with much smaller men.

What would the wizards want to play?
