Don't have any constructed terrain to share, but hopefully interesting locals will make up for it.

Also, speaking of terrain, what's the best way to do trees for D&D terrain? Is it even worth doing? The foliage and branches seem like they'd get in the way and be a real pain after a while.

Wargaming trees have always been a conundrum. You could just make silhouettes out of felt with trunks marked in the middle; that gets around the foliage problem.
