I don't know why people are somehow surprised there aren't plastic sisters released right now. The video literally said "these aren't coming out for months". Feb/March was the absolute optimistically early release date based on other releases and GW's usual end of year release habits.

The Celestian Command Squad and Celestian Squad is just fucking sad and annoying.

Maybe if GW just said hey we copy pasted the SoB rules into the IA codex for convinience and added some things. Instead of completely revised rules for SoB. Witch implies at least some work put into the sorry excuse of a formation and detachment the inquisition and SoB got.

The Faith Tide formation is the prime example beside putting DCA, Crusader and flagelantes into a big unit. The bonus only afecta the flagelantes giving them a 6++ while the rest of the unit already has better ++ saves by default.

Instead they gave us an ominous line that could easily be construed as either part of the joke or a serious reply.

The Lectitio Divinitatus was a huge deal even before becoming the official church of the IoM. If the Primarchs could not stamp out the Cult (or didn't want to in the first place) in the first couple of centuries after the Emperor's ascension, what hope do they have of disestablishing it now? Sure, they can get mad at the bureaucratic hell that the Imperium has become, but trying to violently topple the only institution that holds it together (without direct recourse to war) would be a franchise-cripplingly stupid move.

GW will not invalidate a print book quickly. I do not think we will see plastic sisters or new rules for anything in the book. Add on units in supplements are the only possibility.
