How much edge is too much edge for you? How much edge is not

A sword should be at least 35 inches long. Anything shorter is silly.
Swords longer than 45 inches get uncomfortable to carry around.

when totally unrelated things are done to justify a character's status, like burning down an orphanage the character knows nothing about because the arsonist was raised in a broken home set up by the orphanage where they're from.

like. i get that it can be spun right. if they discover the people running it are horrible and they use fire as a convenient way to make everyone get out safely while still bringing it down, it's totally something that can work. i'm just not a fan of Chaotic Stupid, i guess.
