there's also the prince valiant rpg which was a precursor to pendragon:

I don't know about the online game, but I'm prepping for an IRL Pendragon campaign, and I could use some advice. I've been futzing around with a streamlined character creation guide, which tells you what to do, when. Because the 4e and 5e books are bad at that (5e's better, but still nothing like "good"). My goal is to minimize the amount of "going back and changing shit because there's a table later on with a possible result that screws with what you already rolled out."
So this is the step-by-step guide. Does anyone see a tremendous issue with the steps in this order? It's not quite what's in the book, but it seems to make the most intuitive sense.
And yes, I've tried the two big houserules (a few points to customize the dice rolls, and a 4d6 drop low die system for attributes; I dislike the 60 point array because I want characters to have a notable attribute and not be totally crippled elsewhere; 4d6 = a 65 point array) in campaign play before, and I like the way they work.
what is this?
Do I need the Book of the Manor for real management rules? There really wasn't anything in the core book that I could find.
