Very happy with it after seeing this. Mic probably would have been more useful than amp in the long run, but I can learn to sing from lewd activities, so the amp might actually help musically. But the CYOA fanbase is autistic as fuck and just escalates its sperg levels with ever longer crunch sheets that have no point behind them.

A good CYOA incentivizes discussion and inherently causes disagreement because it's based entirely on personal view and induces a clash of world views.
A bad CYOA is about optimizing numbers as autistically as possible.

It could also be used as a writing hook, in fanfiction communities. But even those tend to be shitty sperg instead of using systems conductive towards actually interesting story setups.
Often they just end up ignoring half the mechanics because there's too much superfluous shit attached.

The whole spirits thing may be seen as a bad thing, but it allows training for blessing users, and I plan to give it to as many as possible.
The idea is to enter loads of primitive societies and take them over by gifting powers and promising further rewards in the afterlife to the existing leadership (just a slight white lie), and once they are more to my taste I will incorporate them into my real empire.
The fire dancer creates flames from nothing, so no carbon should be emitted, so with enchanted fire items I can have unlimited clean power plants.

Planning out 7 years was an interesting task. I knew I wanted Shapeshifting, Thoughtscapes, and Immortality with the first two coming online as soon as possible. That doesn't leave a lot of extra room, especially for something like Self Defense. My second year classes aim to shore up some of my shortcomings there but that's a bit late. I don't deny it but what context enables us to determine if we suceed or not? That's the hard part to balance if you don't want a mechanical thing to "nerf" it. There's finding it and convincing him to teach us and then understanding what he teaches but there's nothing indicating in what way we'd fail and if somebody is self inserting there is no way he sees himself not achieving anything or he wouldn't take the quest at all
