So, I'm DMing for the first time in my life and I got very disappointed with the lack of variety of drinks aswell as a nice "drunk/hangover" mechanic. Apparently it's supposed to just be the same as poisoned, but that's boring.

Has anyone come up with a improved homebrew system for alcohol? Aswell as different types of drinks like Vodka, Rum and Sake?

But that's literally how it works. If beer doesn't cut it for you, spice things up with datura.

I already had the first session, it went great.

Well, one of my players is a hill dwarf monk from a faraway eastern who woke up in the kingdom the rest of the party is located after a long night of party and drinking. His objective is to taste every type of drinks in this land before returning to his home
