I fail to see the problem here. Authorianism is the endconsequence of "anarcho"-capitalism.

Take the softly chaotic nature of elves, and make them fucking evil, and you get Dark Elves.

It's only Drow who are beholden to a god named Lolth by their design, it helped solidify the iconic spider imagery of the Drow, but I ultimately think it's done more harm than good to the idea of the Dark Elf.

Elven populations according to AD&D 1e range from 20-200, with Drow even less then that, with populations of 5-50. These populations don't really support things like large cities. Small ancap communes seem to make the most sense, but Drow are fucking evil about it.
