Why did this war started?
What resource is here more precious than gold?
Which was the last technology advancement to introduce in everybody's every day lives?
Why are you on an English language message board if you clearly can't speak English?

>Why did this war started?
At a glance, it's not a war - it's raiding barbarians. They're here for loot.
A closer look shows it's not about loot, it's a land-grab from an awkward geographic arrangement.
Which is the result of a completely different economic/culture shattering a few years ago.
And the figurehead leading the effort is actually possessed by a old wizard from a war decades ago looking for revenge.
>What resource is here more precious than gold?
Wood, better climate for crops and labor, better access to other countries for trade, and if the barbarians can swing it, a developed infrastructure from those first couple things.

A more open travel network.
Mail and trade goods are moving faster than ever. Communication is opening up. Elves and lizardfolk are sharing hard earned secrets of the magic forests and mountains, orcs and dwarves are comparing engineering notes, and a wider network means the kaiju are becoming more predictable.
