I'd guess $5-$12 per B&W character drawing, depending on how detail-heavy it is.(Large difference in effort requited between a survivor with a cloth, skullcap, and catgut bow verses someone decked out in phoenix or lantern gear)

I cannot believe the shit that has come to pass. I thought for sure that this character would have died against the phoenix, but the phoenix was a bitch, and then he got insane shit. He got an accuracy from his first age event (happened on the hunt due to an event), triggered Insight and got Analyse, went back to the settlement and the Bone Witch stole my fucking Guidepost but at least trained him and a couple other survivors in the Monster Claw Style for one bone, and then she personally gave him the Extra Sense FA at the cost of two bone.

Is the Beast of Sorrow basically a level 2.5 lion? Reading its stats it seems easier than a level 3 lion. Less toughness, fewer tokens, fewer AI cards, no Merciless, Weak Spot, etc etc. Harder than a level 2 because of level 4 + Trample + Cunning = holy shit ow don't run me over, as well as 13 base toughness instead of 10, but in the weak spot that is actually 9.

Also can you hunt legendary monsters more than once? Cause a good source of iron would be awesome...

Yeah beast is basically a 2.5 but the effective 4 makes * (Monster level. For grab, etc.) really dangerous. It also hunts just like a l3 which is somewhat risky because if quarry moves back before quarry moves forward, starvation. It's super worth it though because l3 rewards plus, and you CAN hunt legendaries multiple times. So far as I know the only limited fights are Special Showdowns (like the Lion Knight that don't get added to the Nemesis list for Heart Flute) and the Old Master who explicitly removes himself from the quarry list when slain.

For those of you playing at home, this on a totally generic survivor (no abilities or impairments except the Acanthus Doctor SFA) is 10 to all hit locations, +7 strength tokens, +5 Evasion, Ripple Pattern on a 10+, Undeathable, Immune to Disemboweled, depart with 3 resources, and attack at 3/5+/1 Sharp with the non-frail Bone Sickle.

With White Secret: Leyline Walker the build will have +8 (effectively maxed) Evasion. On a Green Savior you would add 9 more armor at all locations (19 total) and another strength token. You can add the stat bonuses for Ageless yourself for the "Ultimate" build (Or you could get Leyline Walker and gain immunity to hunt XP from Ageless Apprentice off the Lion Knight if you really want the magical christmasland scenario. Jesus christ the bone earrings are awful. I never realized it until now, but after considering using them and going through the craftable items in the core game here is the complete list of items you can wear if you want to use them:

1. The Bone Earrings themselves
2. Skull Helm / Screaming Helm
3. Monster Tooth Necklace
4. Any number of bone weapons; there's plenty of variety here
5. Scrap Shield
6. Lion Skin Cloak, oddly enough
7. Any of the masks

And that's it. That is the sum total of bone items in the game, barring rare gear which I don't let myself look at. Sure, +2 Speed and +2 Strength is ridiculously baller, but you're literally running around in your skivvies and even with a paired weapon you still can't even fill up your entire gear grid because there aren't enough options to do so unless you have multiple masks.

That's actually a fairly basic build though. You just need the SFA and that's the only real bit of RNG. The cost of the shoulders can change due to RNG, but if you have the resources you can unearth it without risk. It's not like this REQUIRES getting it on a savior or something, it's just better that way.

That's why it gets reposted so much. It's a fairly simple to make BUILD made almost entirely of things you will have laying around anyway, and the things you DONT have laying around (like the green charm) can be substituted without much issue. And the items that make it up are useful on their own, so if you can't get the fighting art, those aren't wasted resources.

I've found that they've got fantastic synergy with the Screaming Armor set as well. Not only does it give it all of the affinities they need if you pair it with a monster grease but that slam action is really quite good with them. Rolling six attacks is fantastic, but only +2 strength is pretty bad, so slam giving an effect +3 strength to your attack is well loved. You'll usually need to dash to set up the slam, though. Plus, of course, you're supporting the team both by debuffing the monster and sometimes the movement is also really beneficial.

It's fun drawing 7 hit locations and not getting a trap.
